Had a great time in Fort Myers and taking care of Miles. Brian is super friendly and I felt really comfortable at his place.

What an amazing sit! It was our second sit and it felt like visiting family. Betsy and Richard were incredible hosts and welcomed us with a home-cooked dinner. They are laid back, easy and fun to talk to, and helped us in so many ways. We are very thankful and will take every opportunity to come back.

Their log home is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you need. Having our own room with a modern ensuite bathroom and a huge closet made this sit feel like a vacation.
It was still ski season beginning of April and we were able to take advantage of their ski-in/ski-out location. Perfect to go skiing in the morning for 2-3 hours after a morning walk with the dogs, come back for lunch to let the dogs out, and get back out again. Plus, having a hot tub after a day out, was a real treat. They have all kinds of outdoor gear, fitness equipment, and games. Their spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook like a chef.

Mabel and Molly are great dogs and we enjoyed our time with them. They love to go on walks/hikes. Thanks to being able to use Betsy's car, we took them on several hikes and also let them off-leash after Molly got used to us. She needs some time to warm up but once she does she loves to cuddle, get her belly rubbed, and just likes to be close to you. So be patient and you will be rewarded. The same goes for her eating. Both, Mabel and Molly, like to be outside most of the time and will let you know when moose, bears, or neighbors come too close 😊

The cats are all very relaxed and easy to care for. Whereas Blue and especially Oscar like to snuggle up on you, Randy is more independent, but also likes to be petted. All three go out and in as they like. Their feeding routine is easy as well. We will miss being entertained by them.

Steamboat Springs itself is a small town with everything you need. The downtown area has cute little cafes and restaurants and the riverfront is great for a walk, run, or bike ride. There are many hikes, bike trails, and ski slopes all around Steamboat Springs. The same goes for snowshoeing, and back-country skiing.

A great sit, with amazing people and pets and we can't wait to be back.

Opti is such a cutie and Luis was an amazing host to sit for. He’s great with communication, he’s generous (He allowed me to use his workspace and left coffee which helped me during my long hours!), and he lives in a wonderful building with friendly staff. I’d definitely sit here again 😊

Tara
I adore NYC so felt very lucky to be accepted for this house sit & I've truly had the loveliest week house sitting for Tara, taking care of her sweet boys!
Communication with Tara was brilliant throughout, we actually confirmed this sit at the start of the year & Tara always responded quickly to messages & was very understanding when, about a week before the house sit, I became unwell with the possibility of needing to cancel the sit! But we kept in touch & thankfully my health sorted itself out & I was able to come :)
Tara provided me with a very informative welcome guide going through everything about the home & cats care/feeding which was very useful as each boy has his own particular food & we also managed to go through things in person when I arrived before they left. She has automatic feeders for the boys as well which I was shown how to set up and were very useful for the days I wished to go out exploring!
Tara's home is located in Woodhaven, Queens, an area I'd never been before so it was nice to experience a different side of Brooklyn! Her place is very easy to get to from JFK & I felt so comfortable staying in her home, I was especially grateful for the stack heaters in the chilly weather! There's a supermarket just around the corner for groceries & the subway is literally 8 minutes walk where you can get into Manhattan on the J line within half an hour!
And now on to the boys...what a special gang they are! Cash is definitely the most shy, he very much liked keeping to himself in his pineapple bed most of the time but also loved a belly rub! Gus is just a big teddy bear who likes to be right next to you all the time, I loved our cuddles in front of the telly in the evening! And lastly Mr Roy Carls, such a sweet old gent who just melts you with those big green eyes & spent most of his time monitoring the hallway so well! I really will miss them!
Tara did let me know that they boys would have a vet home visit during my stay which went very well & they all enjoyed the Churu treats after!
Thank you so much Tara for trusting me with your home and boys, I had the best time and would highly recommend this sit to others!
