Tammy is an incredible pet and house sitter. I feel so lucky that she spent a week at my home. My 2 dogs are very active and one is quite large. She didn’t hesitate to hike with them every day and even took them with her by car and bus on more complicated excursions. She sent me the cutest photos and wasn’t squeamish about occasional messes when one of the dogs had some diarrhea (sorry Tammy). I arrived home to relaxed well adjusted dogs and a sparkling clean house, complete with freshly laundered towels and linens. What a treat! I hope you will get to host Tammy in your home.
Thank you so much, Maya! Communicative, clean, organized. Provided updates which for any pet owner helps tremendously while away from loved ones. This was the first time I think sitting for birds and I'm not sure she'll do it again without the birds being caged haha (!) but even with our two conures on their worst behavior (they are known to bite and we don't cage them...), Maya was so loving and caring and did everything she could to figure out a system that worked for her own safety and so the birds were taken care of. In the end we noticed a huge difference and the birds were happy. Maya left the house very tidy. The flowers were a nice, warming touch and even though a very small utensil was broken she ordered a new one - above and beyond. Thanks again for working with us.
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.
Margery and Steve were lovely hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and told all about the things to do in town. Their home is beautiful, welcoming, and clean. Close enough to enjoy the city of Annapolis yet tucked into the woods in a peaceful setting. They explained everything about Juno’s care. Juno was a little shy at first but then we became friends.
