A big thank you to Dale and Denise for the opportunity to stay in their fascinating home and to look after the delightful Basil
.
That we were staying in the home of an artist was very apparent not only in the individual work on display but in the ornaments, decoration and design outside in the garden as well as inside. Who but an artist could make running paint drips look so good. There is surely a star of interior design at work here.

As well as the general ambience of the house, it was wonderfully warm and comfortable and Di said that the kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in.

West Chinnock is a quiet village with its authentic and very unique dogfriendly village pub where we were made to feel very welcome even as outsiders. It seems as if most people in the village have a dog and all know Basil. He is a large and very friendly bundle of hair but a gentleman of the dogworld. He is a pleasure to walk and doesn't pull at all although he likes to choose his routes. In the house he is no trouble and loves being with one of us (usually the one in the kitchen). He 'talks' when he wants something and early in our stay this led to quite long amusing conversations until we realised that we had missed one of his treats.
All in all a definite 5* experience.

Emily was so kind! Cookie and Coffee were so cute and amazing to look after. They’re super playful and easy to take care of :)
The area is also very nice! Easy to get to everything you need. It was a great experience for us to visit NYC :)
Would 100% recommend looking after Cookie and Coffee if you get the chance!
Thanks Emily!

It was wonderful caring for Ella & Ivy for Jay & Mariah. Their home is beautiful and they were kind and left great instructions. Ella & Ivy were both friendly and always wanted to be in the same room as me. I had to give medication for a last minute infection but it was super easy to hide in food. It was a great experience & I recommend this sit.

Ben and Kirsten were incredible both before and during the sit. Nanaimo is such a gorgeous island town and the house and views are even more amazing!! We had a difficult situation to deal with during the sit and both of them were so incredibly helpful and available. We were even lucky enough to meet Kirsten parents who we also can’t thank enough. We felt so welcome and would recommend to anyone to take a sit here!! Thanks again ☺️

Jump on the opportunity to housesit for Marie if you can! We had an absolutely wonderful time taking care of Marie’s gorgeous home and two fun cats in beautiful Savannah.

Sophie and Pye are an entertaining and friendly pair of cats, who enjoy snuggles on their terms, and will keep you entertained with their antics—Pye liked to explore the laptops while we worked and Sophie wanted to sit at the kitchen sink and drink water from the faucet. Both were easygoing and sweet!

The home is stunning—it’s beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and has plenty of room to spread out and areas to work if you need to while housesitting. Wifi is great, and the room you’ll stay in is very comfy. The location is perfect—within a 20 minute drive to both downtown historic Savannah and to Tybee Island, so it’s ideal for any outing or even to grab dinner out.

Communication with Marie is quick and easy, and she provides a thorough Welcome Guide to ensure you’re both on the same page with the care of the home and cats.

I highly recommend this opportunity. We would be back in a heartbeat if our schedules align in the future!

We absolutely LOVED taking care of this house and clan!
When we got to the house the dogs seemed very apprehensive of us strangers, Ida was extremely submissive and Maisie wouldn't come within a few feet of us. But after about 15 minutes of talking to them and letting them sniff our things they became our bestfriends. Then Flora made her appearance and is a very affectionate cat.
These lovely girls may be the least high maintenance pets we've cared for, they are so easy and lovable!
The dogs don't have crazy puppy energy unless they get the zoomies which is so funny to watch. They're great on their leads on walks, and off lead in the enclosed backyard. They really are big sucks and want to be around you all the time, we loved it!
Flora is a sweetheart, with the cutest little face.
The house is in a beautiful spot, quiet neighborhood and walks closeby.
Julia was communicative and we had everything we needed for our stay.

We'd absolutely sit here again!
Thanks so much ! Cheers :)
