Tony
I had an AMAZING time in Kenmare with four fabulous dogs - Izzy, Silkey, Spice and Bella, two chickens and the lovely Koda, Tony's very easygoing horse. The house was incredibly comfortable, and the November weather accommodated with just the right mix of rain and sun to keep tourists away but providing for absolutely gorgeous visits to historic and natural landmarks on the Ring of Kerry and the Berea Penninsula. I am deeply grateful to Tony and Teresa for making the time in their home such a fabulous experience. Tony is highly organized, and has the animal care down to a straightforward process. Both he and Teresa provided me with all the information that I needed, were in communication whenever I had questions, and my family and I felt very welcomed by them, by their wonderful animals, and by everyone we met in County Kerry. If you have a chance to sit for Tony, I HIGHLY recommend it!

CORNELIA
It was a pleasure to look after Widget and Frank. Cornelia was clear, direct and kindly bought be some basic foodstuff for me on my arrival. She left me clear and detailed instructions on the care of her dogs and house. Frank and Widget are such individual characters and loved being out in the fields chasing hares. Cornelia's house is large and spacious and I was given a light, warm, room with a bathroom next door. There is a large garden for the dogs to run around in and it leads straight out into the fields so it's possible to walk the dogs without going onto busy roads. There is a lot to explore in the beautiful Scottish Border countryside and the villages retain much local history. I recommend this sit.

Jemma
Jemma is really lovely and I got to meet her and her cats virtually. She made sure I was aware of the possibility of her trip being postponed due to the pandemic and when it was, gave me as much notice as she could. I really appreciated the clear and easy communication. I look forward to housesitting for Jemma when she does finally get to go away!

I had a great weekend together with Tinker! She's a big, beautiful bundle of joy :) She's super sociable and greets both people and other dogs like they're long lost friends, and loves to play and cuddle. The hosts are a really friendly couple, they made sure I had all the information needed for the sit and I felt very welcome. They live in a neighbourhood that's close to some stunning parks and riverside walks, you almost forget that you're in a big city! Perfect for those that want to be close to the city center but also have a quiet night's sleep (not to be taken for granted in Paris). I definitely recommend this sit and thank the hosts for their hospitality.

In August, my mother and I were lucky to be chosen to sit by James and Fliss at their beautiful home in Hurstbourne Priors, Hampshire. From the moment we spoke via video a few months ahead, I felt very relaxed and comfortable with them, and it was a treat to be able to meet the pets (and say hello to their cheerful young boys) via WhatsApp. During another sit a month before this one began, James and Fliss kindly made time for me to come by for coffee and to learn the pets’ routines and other house details. Bear, the young dog, is a total sweetheart and just loves hanging out and taking long walks on the many footpaths around. The cats, Bertie and Fred, are self sufficient with cat doors, but always come for meals and willingly sleep on beds, which we appreciated.

We fell in love with all of the pets, and enjoyed including Bear on many of our outings. He was was super in the car too. Contact with James and Fliss was perfect and we sent a few posts of the pets during their trip. They were always responsive and kind if we had a question and sent us some photos of their vacation as well.

The family home is a perfect place to relax with its pretty garden, amazing kitchen and several rooms to settle in on the main floor. They were beyond generous to offer us their bedroom and guest room, both super comfy, with equally nice bathrooms. The home reflects their lovely taste and is simply a joy to stay in.

Whilst Hurstbourne Priors is a small village, it is friendly and wonderfully situated for anyone visiting Hampshire. There is a quiet walk via a footpath to a nearby village with a nice shop and excellent pub where we enjoyed Sunday roast. Bear recommends it and guided us there.

All we can say is a huge thank you for having had us in your home, and for the thoughtful present you sent us afterwards. I hope to be back someday and we have been missing Bear, Fred and Bertie!

RADHA
It's been such a pleasure spending time with Ralph. He's such a kind, gentle, and loving little being. There's nothing he seeks more than making his human companions happy.

While Ralph can't be left alone, he can be taken pretty much everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed having him with us as we explored the Wall Street neighborhood, Battery Park, Pier 17, and the Brooklyn Bridge. He rides the subway well and is just content to walk alongside you.

Communication with Radha has been easy throughout, and she left her apartment very clean and organized. 100% recommended!
