This was truly one of our best sits ever, and a huge reason why we love THS. John and Patrick are Super Hosts, so easy to communicate with, so thoughtful of your needs as a sitter, and just all-round good guys. On top of that, they live in a lovely part of the country with so much to see and do, have the most wonderful house and gardens, and own the most gorgeous Bengal cat! Merlin was the first Bengal cat we have sat for, and he is certainly a marvellous advert for the breed. The good looks are a given, but he is also such a sweetie! Yes, it will take a few days for him to fully accept you, but then he’s a real talker and very happy to lap up as much attention as you are willing to give. We found him the perfect cat, independent yet sociable, fun to be around, and no problem at all to look after. We had what amounted to a brilliant two-week holiday with a great feline companion thrown in for good measure, and cannot recommend this sit highly enough. If you’re reading this because John and Patrick are once again looking for a sitter, then you should definitely apply – immediately!
We just loved looking after Femerty. He was a bundle of energy as most young dogs are but loved a cuddle on the sofa to relax. This house is not only in a special area but is a lovely house to sit. 16th century with all the quirks and Alex left us very comfortable. We enjoyed lovely walks from the house into beautiful countryside. We have missed Lemerty since we have left & all his crazy antics.
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Mari & stay in Scarlet’s home. Mari is such a gorgeous dog- full of character and fun and a joy to spend time with. Scarlet’s lovely flat was in a great location. We would happily look after Mari again :)
Philip is a trustworthy person, who takes care of his animals and who really cares about their well-being but also about us. the stay went very well with the 3 cats, all so adorable. I recommend Philip. 🐈🐱😺 Merci!
We had a wonderful time at Don and Sonyas' lovely home. It's a wonderful spot for long walks with a dog with easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc. Max is a "spirited" dog for sure but he is very sweet and loves to be around people. Don and Sonya are great hosts and there house is very orderly and clean.
