Dan and Eilise were absolutely fantastic. Their initial communications were regular and reliable and then, once they had arrived, they were just so nice! Our dog is elderly, obstinate and requires regular application of eye drops, which she does not enjoy. She can be very indifferent to the attentions of strangers too, so not always a rewarding doggie companion! However, when we returned from almost three weeks away, she had made friends properly with Dan and Eilise (a great compliment on her part), her eyes were clean and clear of infection, she seemed really happy, AND the house was so clean and tidy that I mistakenly thought that our cleaner had visited that day. We returned home to various family crises of our own and Dan and Eilise were sensitive to this, behaved really discreetly and left the following day with zero fuss. We were honestly sad to say goodbye to them and would always welcome them back as guests if they needed a bed for the night in London. I can't rate them more highly. Many thanks, Dan and Eilise.
Aurelia unfortunately arrived sick with covid. We were ever so grateful she could travel here. The situation made the hand over not so easy but Aurelia managed terrifically once she recovered. All creatures were happy, super relaxed and healthy on our return. Aurelia managed to keep the garden and all plants alive through the super heat of this summer, wonderful!
Izzy and Jahi were excellent Housesitter’s! Given the timing of our trip, we knew we wouldn't see them the morning we left, so were grateful that they could come to our house the week before our trip to meet our pup. They were very warm and enthusiastic, and connected well with Sky. While we were gone, they sent us pictures and let us know all was well. When we got home, Sky was dozing contentedly. The house was immaculate. We would be delighted if Izzy and Jahi could sit for us again!
