A cat with an extremly interesting personality, the best location one can ask for right at Lady Bird Lake, a bike to spend hours cruising around (bike lanes everywhere!) and wonderful hosts: what else can one ask for? I was intrigued by David's sense of humor the minute he picked me up at the train station and would have loved to spend more time with him and Susan! Communication was easy, the apartment cozy with lots of souvenirs from the places they lived at all over the world. Meshach ruled the house! No alarm clock needed, he reminded me daily at 6 am that it was time for his breakfast. He is independent, demanding, trusting... Sometimes he wanted to sit on my lap, sometimes not. Most of the time he enjoyed his window seat while I was away exploring Austin. I highly recommend this sit and hope to be back soon.
Victoria is the sweetest cat, and Kat is a wonderful host! Communication was great with Kat and her home is beautifully stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was such a pleasure to sit - instructions were very clear and straightforward. Everything was very easy. Victoria is very happy playing with her array of toys - or having a tickle! She loves to snuggle in and have a lie in! I wouldn’t hesitate to sit again - thank you so much, Kat! One of the best sits!
Catherine and Stan were super involved in making our stay enjoyable. Their welcome was very warm, we couldn't have hoped for a better first experience. If you have the opportunity to house sit for Tammy, we highly recommend it! Her lovely home is in a nice/convenient location. Michelle went over before the sit to go through the daily routine with Tammy. We were also provided a comprehensive information packet with details of the house/pet care. Sophie is super friendly and a delight to care for. Walking her was a breeze and we encountered friendly neighbors. Sweet Minky mostly does her own thing and we enjoyed the interaction when she sought our attention. John & Michelle
I loved spending time with Daisy and Dexter. They were so scrumptious, affectionate, delightful and full of personality. Daisy is soft, sweet and gentle, likes pats and loves to be looked after. Dexter is a lap cat in a dog's body and loves cuddles! He enjoys being a part of everything you do and is fond of a chat. Brooke is engaging, bright and positive, prefers regular updates about her beloved pooches, and will communicate with you every step of the way. Her welcome guide is really helpful. Brooke's apartment is right next to the river and Newstead Park, where there are wonderful walking paths by the water. At Cameron Rocks Reserve, a lovely spot, the 300 bus will take you into South Bank. The Breakfast Creek Hotel is next door. This sit would suit anyone who loves an inner city lifestyle.
Po was a joy to look after. Sweet and a bit mischievous but so wonderful and fun. Will miss him! Hannah was great to work with as well. The location was very convenient. Public transport is close by as well the grocery, restaurants and other necessities. Would definitely sit for Po and Hannah again in the future if our schedules ever match up!
