We were so very pleased with Alan and Sheila and hope to have them again to house and pet sit for us in the future. We feel as though we have made new friends and it was incredibly reassuring to know that everything was in good hands during our time away. Alan and Sheila are very friendly and personable. They emailed us regular updates to let us know how the house and cats were doing, and upon our return, the house was immaculate, the cats were super relaxed and in great condition and they had cooked us a vegetarian dinner which was hugely appreciated after our long flight! We keep finding handy little things that Sheila got at charity shops that make life easier, like wee bowls in the pantry and they bought us a teapot cosy and cookware! Sheila and I bonded over healthy eating (hence the non-teflon coated saucepan and frypan) and we will definitely be keeping in touch as they both love Scotland as much as we do. Jeremy and I can't praise them enough. We hope they enjoyed their stay as much as we enjoyed having them in our house and we hope to see them again in the future. We wish them all the best for future house-sitting adventures! :)
Emily was an amazing sitter! She took wonderful care of our kitty and our home for a long sit over the holidays. She is intentional, proactive with communication, well traveled, and highly responsible. She is also incredibly kind and warm-hearted and you can feel how much love she has for animals, people and our world when you talk to her. She traveled internationally for our sit and immediately booked flights and sent us the confirmation once our sit was confirmed. She sent us daily updates without prompting, answered any questions we had in a timely manner, and left our place SO clean! Before she left she sent us a check list of everything that she had done before leaving without us asking so we never had to worry. She even left us sweet treats as a thank you! We could truly relax and enjoy our time off with our families and come home knowing our furry family member was safe and well cared for and our home was just as we left it. Highly recommend Emily for your sits!!
