Maura and Doug were brilliant! Planning and preparation was straightforward and they felt like trusted friends right away. They weren’t phased when it looked like they may have to administer meds to our cat (thankfully they didn’t) and they clearly loved on him, and he overcame his shyness and made friends very quickly. Maura and Doug kindly gave us daily updates and were just generally lovely people to interact with. And after a busy family trip it was sooo nice to come home to a very happy, relaxed animal and a super clean home! 5 star sitters.
Mindy gets an A+ from us! Communication with her was excellent. Her home was lovely and she was very welcoming when we arrived! It was fun to discover that we had some connections through friends. Annie & Roxy also receive an A+ from us. They are such sweet little girls. You could always expect Roxy at the door to greet you. And both loved to nuzzle nearby and get pets. We would definitely consider helping Mindy again - it was a joy!
We have looked after Romero and Cassie twice during the past couple of years (pre and post Covid). They are wonderful and such good natured characters - a joy to be around and take for walks in the nearby nature area. Stewart and Zusana are a warm and welcoming couple; they have a beautiful and very comfortable home in which it is a pleasure to stay. The neighbourhood has plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as a large supermarket close by. A really enjoyable dog and house sit which we highly recommend.
Rick and Leslie were INCREDIBLE to sit for. It was a pleasure to meet them and hear of their adventures. They fall into the category of “incredibly good people.” If you are new to the site or traveling solo, you will be safe and well taken care of in their lovely home. Tye and Moo the sweetest cats letting you shower them with love and attention. It was so fun waking up to a cat each morning. I would absolutely recommend others to apply here! You are going to have a hard time beating the kindness and hospitality of this wonderful family.
Emilie is a very kind hostess and a lovely person. Butter the cat and I became good friends during my stay. Budget the dog was still a little shy but a very good dog. I very much enjoyed my stay in this beautiful tranquil home in a wooded area but still close to town. I would definitely recommend this house sit .
Trish and Guy are the loveliest hosts we've met. We cannot thank them enough for their generous hospitality and thoughtfulness in making sure our stay was smooth and stress free. It was a pleasure to spend time with their sweet girl Darcey who instantly stole our hearts. So easy to be around and always up for some cuddles, treats, and a game of ball.
