We cannot say enough wonderful things about AJ and China Rose. They were professional, clean, warm, kind and very easy to communicate with. They sent pictures multiple times every day, and it was clear Biscuit was having more fun with them than she does with us. :) They both clearly love animals, and they are attentive listeners to whatever you and your dog need. We would absolutely trust them to sit with us again and we highly recommend them!

Our cat looked happy when we came back home and we could verified that he was in good hands with them :) We had a great communication before and under the sitting. We invited Shama & Sylvain back again to look after the house and pets. That should say enough right there, but I will tell you that these two make an awesome team. We live in snow country and Sylvain is very capable of snow-blowing and handling whatever winter brings. Shama is so helpful and attentive to whatever instructions are left and both are very loving and kind with the animals. It was such a comfort to have them stay here again knowing that our beloved animals are loved and well cared for. They communicate enough but not overly which we appreciate. Both times the house was returned in excellent condition, we can't offer enough praise. If you are looking for a trustworthy, caring and attentive house-sitter, these two are your best bet.

Philip and his delightful family took care of my cats, house and landscaping for 9 days. He was very proactive about calling when he said he would and initiating our walkthrough before my trip. He asked lots of detailed questions and was very responsible.

From our very first conversation to our homecoming goodbyes and thank yous, Fiona and Joe were great. I could not have asked for better home and most importantly dog sitters. We rarely have 90 degree weather, but wouldn't you know it, we had 3 days of heat. Fiona was so concerned about Marble's health she asked its she could give her a bath to cool her off. Very, very thoughtful. Anyone who who not only cares for my puppy, but loves her gets high marks in the pet care category, but also high marks in the care of my home. Puppies are always a challenge and yet these two people have the understanding and love for such a situation. Marble, was happy to see us , looked great and settled in on our return as if we never left. I can't say enough about these two wonderful people and how they respected and lovingly cared for Marble and our home. I wouldn't think twice about having them sit in the future.

This was Rochelle's first sit with zeewoi and she was 5 stars across the board! Her care of Samson, especially with some of his older dog challenges, was top notch, providing the attention and watchful eye needed. Rochelle was also extremely reliable, as well as flexible, when we needed to adjust the timing at the last minute. Our home was kept just as we left it, if not better. Please consider Rochelle for your next sit - she will do a fantastic job. I know we are hoping our calendars sync so that she can come back again!

Alfonso Eduardo

Although new to zeewoi, Alfonso and Monica were amazing house and pet-sitters! 5-stars isn't high enough! They were both excellent communicators from the get-go and always responded quickly and clearly to any texts. Alfonso sent many photos and updates over the weeks we were gone, which we found very reassuring. They were also extremely detail-oriented and it was clear that they took house and pet-sitting very seriously - i.e., to them this wasn't a "vacation", they were there to take care of our home and pets as if they were their own. They were extremely conscientous in their care and followed our home instructions to the letter. When we returned after 6 weeks overseas we found our home, pets and garden in wonderful shape. Our house was immaculate, our animals were all healthy and happy, and they even left us a bouquet of flowers and a fresh pound of coffee, and milk in the fridge (especially important after a 26-hour travel journey home!). We would have Alfonso, Monica and their son Boni as house and pet-sitters again, absolutely! Five stars all around.

Garrick cared for my 2 cats when I went out of town for a week. He sent me an update midway through my trip and my cats were very happy when I returned. My apartment looked great and everything was as though I never left. I would definitely have him back!

We thoroughly enjoyed Bend, Marla, and the house sit with Sukie and Franny! The home was spacious, well equipped, and the city of bend is very charming if you like nature, beer, and great people! The wifi had some issues with low bandwidth which can effect remote work (this is a city wide issue though, not Marla’s fault)

There were a few points of disagreement that we butted heads on with Marla that we feel need to be addressed.

The first was regarding some improvements to her profile that she told us she would be making, so hopefully this won’t be an issue going forward.

She believed it was on us to ask about the exact day to day schedule of her dogs, but over the 10+ housesits we have done we have not had this issue before. The biggest requirement was to wake up at 6am to let the dogs out, which was not communicated until we arrived. She said we should have asked the question, while we believe the owner should lay out the full schedule on their profile if it is not flexible. All the sits we have previously done were less strict on wake up time, feeding schedule, etc.

A couple quirks of the pups include Franny being an intermittent snorer, which is an issue with light sleepers since there is a requirement to sleep with the dogs. Sukie can be high stress and pants a lot, which we attribute from her being away from Marla.

The house is well maintained and Marla expects a sitter who is careful and clean, so please keep this in mind before requesting to sit.

Marla enjoys face to face interaction and prefers that you debrief on the sit with her after the trip, which we were not able to do. We did request to leave a day before the sit ended, which is on us.

Overall we would suggest this sit to sitters who are clean, communicative, early risers, and FULLY understand the day to day schedule of the pups.
