We had a wonderful weekend taking care of Lucy in Petaluma. Alison was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. Lucy is a shy dog and takes a little while to get used to new people but once she knows you, she's your best friend! Alison's home is in a great location for exploring Petaluma and for taking Lucy for walks / play time. I would definitely recommend!!
Patricia's home is a sweet paradise, sitting by the big wooden kitchen table looking out, one has to remind oneself that the view outside the window is not a classic oil painting but a real life moment ! Buster the cat and two horses Magie and Bisous are a joy to careful for, they are all easy going, non-demanding and sweet hearted. If you are longing for horses, a sweet cat and a quiet picturesque period of time near many vineries, this house sit is for you. The location of the home is less than 10 minutes drive to the train station, one can take the train to explore many adjacent vineries and cities. Walking around the property area itself is also very pleasant with rolling hills of vines and quiet country road. Patricia is kind and generous, she picked me up from the train station, making sure I had enough food in the house (I ate so much delicious chocolate and fresh cherries), and let me use her car - then without the car to use, she herself delayed her return date back to the house due to the train station schedule cancelling! This was one of the memorable house sits in France. Thank you so much Patricia !
Lotte was a sensational host and helpful from day 1. Her cats are so easy-going and playful. Sometimes when they play together it tends to turn into a kick boxing session but it is hilarious to see them around. I had filmed countless videos which I sent to Lotte and the ones with the laser light were the best, real party time 🥳. The flat is very well connected to the rest of the city, some amazing restaurants and cafés around and super quiet. Hard to believe you are just in one of the busiest areas in Berlin. I absolutely loved it.
Techno is a lovely cat. Independent yet loving and gentle. He is low maintenance, and pleasant company. I miss him already! Maria is a kind host and communication was efficient. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet her because our schedules didn't match but we made sure we were able to access the flat upon each of our departures which I'm grateful for. The flat's kitchen was under construction yet functional, the apartment was organized although it needed cleaning and sanitizing love. The bed mattress was comfy and the wifi fast. The neighborhood is up and coming and with easy access to the bus, train and the tube which take you right into the city center. There are grocery stores nearby as well as a mall.
This was such an amazing sit! Our hosts were lovely and very hospitable and the house was extremely clean and perfect for our stay! Pepper and Poppet were the most adorable cats - we so enjoyed cuddles with them each night and think of them often. The house is situated in a great location just a short bus ride into some of the greatest spots in Cornwall!! We would do this sit again and again!! 🥳 Thank you guys so much
