This was a perfect house and petsitting engagement. Mary and Dennis are wonderful people and very welcoming. They have a beautiful home with superior outdoor ambience enhanced by deer and wild turkey frequently wandering nearby. All of this within minutes from supermarkets, coffee shops, and even Neiman Marcus. They provided a private room and bath and the house had all the comforts you could want. Best of all were Mary and Dennis' pets. Cassie is full of joy. I've never seen any animal so happy to get up in the morning, eat (OMG how I love to get fed!) and go for walks. She spins in circles and leaps in your arms. So cute. Spooky and Boots are the sweetest cats on the planet. They gaze into your eyes and demand nothing of you but some food and a few strokes here and there. Even though two of these "kids' need medications, they easily take them with food; it's a breeze. I honestly did not want to leave and would gladly have stayed another month!! Top rating. Top Choice petsit.
We had so much fun this sit! Indigo is playful, enjoys going for walks, and responds well to training commands. She likes to walk at a leisurely pace sniffing the city scents. We loved taking her to the nearby park where she easily settled and people watched with us. She is very affectionate and is all-around a great companion. Audrey and Spencer are very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a house tour, provided pet instructions, and were easy to reach. The downstairs apartment made for a very comfortable sit. It was clean, tidy, updated, the right size for two people, and well-equipped. The main floor dining room had enough space to spread out and work remotely. The backyard is awesome for playing with Indigo and relaxing in a peaceful environment. The location can’t be beat (close to restaurants and grocery stores). Audrey and Spencer’s home is a great place to stay and enjoy the company of an affectionate dog. We hope we get a chance to take care of Indigo again!
