Barbara and Erik come highly recommended after their visit to house sit for us. They looked after our dog and cat at home whilst we were away for a trip abroad. I felt a great confidence in them from the start and this has been reflected in our experience of their time staying at our house. We arrived home to find a clean and neat house as well as our grass cut which is a big task in itself. Having messed up on return dates, Barbara and Erik went out of their way to change their travel plans in order to accommodate us which was a huge help. Our animals were content and relaxed when we arrived home and had obviously been well cared for. Whilst we were away, they kept in touch and gave us regular updates. I would definitely trust them to house sit.
Mark and Terry looked after our home and our fur baby Thor while we left for what was supposed to be ten days. What a wonderful couple! They came a day early so they could meet Thor and we left on our vacation with total confidence that he was in good hands and entertained while we were away. We were given regular updates while we were gone. The day we were suppposed to return, our flight got canceled in Japan during our layover. We were stuck and no flights out until the next morning! Thankfully Mark and Terry had prepared for such an occurrence, and had booked their flights home a day after our return date “just in case” and thank god they did!! On returning from vacation, our home was spotless and our bedding was thoughtfully washed. Thor was happy and relaxed as if we had not been away. We cannot rate Mark and Terry highly enough and totally recommend them if you are considering their profile. Thank you again for everything ;-) and we will for sure reach out to you for future stays!
Dede (Duha) is definitely one of our top house/pet sitters so far! The moment we met I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She is the most loving, caring and responsible sitter one could wish for! She send us regular updates of her daily adventures with Kenzie and Ginger and we could not have felt more at ease. I know for sure that our dog fell deeply in love with her and misses her much. We hope to invite Dede back into our home soon! Five stars all the way!!
Jane and David are a very easy going, friendly, couple. When we arrived, they showed us around and explained everything, they also gave us a lot of information on walks. There are no surprises Freya and Grace are exactly as the description and they have a really good routine. Communication is very good with David and Jane. Prior to the sit they sent us the Dog's Schedule which again was very helpful. Grace and Freya are both absolutely lovely, they look the same but they are very different. They both are full of character and lovely to be around. They are very affectionate. Once they have been let out early, both of them come up and are happy to sleep on the bed and are so well behaved. They live in a beautiful village Cuckfield which is a five minute drive from the house. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Thank you David and Jane for inviting us and making us feel so welcome.
