It was going to be a long sit - almost 40 days - and I had never left Nadim for that long. Also, I felt that a couple would be able to manage better with mutual support in a lovely yet small town in Andalucia, Spain. The moment Edith and Richard from Montreal and I met in a video interview, I knew right away they were the ones who would be the best caretakers of my best feline friend and my new apartment. It was in the cards - I got a four-card straight - in aces! Communication was effortless and something I looked forward to. I checked in a few times during the first week to make sure they had everything they needed, and they sent an occasional milestone photograph or video. For example, the day Richard was able to gently brush Nadim without a scratch or hiss - just purrfect contentment! The apartment was spotless when I came back, and they had checked with me the day before if I'd like to have some light supper on the evening I got back. Richard made a beautiful Thai-style coconut soup with fresh cuttle fish and vegetables. Edith had gathered some beautiful wildflowers on their final hike and had them displayed in the kitchen. A new toilet seat had arrived and Richard installed it perfectly. Having agreed to spend one extra night allowed us to visit, get to know each other, and enjoy each other's company. That was probably the highlight of the experience for me - getting to meet these wonderful Canadians with whom I shared more than a few sensibilities spanning economics, politics and music! Book them in advance because they will be in high demand after their relatively recent entrance into Trusted Housesiiters. Thanks so much, Edith and Richard, for taking such good care of Nadim, and for following your hunches, instincts and interests by enjoying Lanjarón and its environs. Know that you'll always have an open invitation to visit, whether to house sit or just relax!

I was so fortunate to have Josée take care of my home, flora and fauna while I was away for 10 days. Always in communication and friendly, I was able to enjoy my time away with Josée loving on my dogs and holding down the fort. Josée asks questions, if needed, and indulged my little notes here and there when I remembered a small detail. I would be happy to recommend Josée and hope she can visit us again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Julie and Gwen! They were the perfect house/petsitters from our initial FaceTime call to their last text checking in to make sure I got in ok from my trip. They were great at communication, were reliable, organized, self-sufficient, and perfectly clean and tidy. They took amazing care of my critters, including taking my dog on daily AMAZING hiking adventures, and sending fun, charming, and at times hilarious photos of my pets. Julie made sure to check in with me about any concerns they had about the pets (like that my dog is a bit of a crybaby!). They were also the perfect houseguests, leaving everything immaculately—they even made my bed for me as I was going to be getting in quite late! So thoughtful and lovely. Really, just amazing sitters and so easy and fun to interact with. Both my pets and I look forward to when they will hopefully return!

Caroline did an excellent job taking care of my two kitties. She sent me periodic updates with pictures and both cats seem to be very happy with her. We’re so grateful for the love and care Oceane gave our two dogs while we were traveling for two weeks. During our trip, she sent us several picture updates and our dogs always looked happy and at ease. She even gave the dogs a bath! Super endearing for our older rescue who doesn't warm up to just anyone. We didn’t have to worry at all which let us truly enjoy our vacay knowing our dogs were in the best hands! Oceane was clean and tidy. We returned home to a neat house, laundry done, and happy pups! We would highly recommend Oceane as a sitter for anyone and would love to have her back! This was our first experience using Zeewoi and Holly was amazing. Fantastic communication from the start; a wonderfully warm and lovely personality; incredibly clean and tidy (we came back to a spotless house, and her sheets and towels had been washed and folded); and, most importantly, a dog-whisperer! Winnie had clearly had the time of her life and adored Holly. We also really appreciated Holly arriving a day before we left so that Winnie could get used to her presence in the house. It was lovely spending a day with Holly at the end of the house sit, before she caught her evening bus back to Montreal. We had got in on a late flight and were very grateful for the delicious breakfast she made us the following morning , the flowers she bought us, and the company she delighted us with throughout the day. An absolutely stellar house and dog sitter. I hope she comes back soon!

We had a pre-meeting zoom call. They asked lots of questions about caring for Uma. I was able to meet with them before I left and gave them the run down on my apt & Uma. My place was clean and they let me know Uma was doing great thru out my trip. I would happily let them sit for Uma again!!

Shane and Annik and children did a great job of looking after our sled dog kennel and LLama farm. They are great communicators, tidy and considerate. It was such a delight having Nicole and Tim "substitute" for us. They are warm, caring, fun, wonderful people who sent adorable photos and took excellent care of our pets. Buddy and Artemis adored them. They got more loving from our cat than we do! How is this for above and beyond: Nicole and Tim even took care of Sammy, the dog next door who is Buddy's best friend, for a few nights when Sammy's mommy had to fly to Oahu for a few days. They took the dog(s) to dog park every day, enjoyed hanging out with our dog park friends, and even spent time and enjoyed meals with our neighbors!!  I am absolutely certain that Buddy and Artemis had a fantastic time with Nicole and Tim. And they took great care of our home and cars as well. Mahalo nui, Nicole and Tim. Aloha nui me ke pumehana.

Giorgio and Federica were just perfect. They arrived a day early to be able to go through everything with us for the house and 2 additional rescue horses they (and us) weren't expecting! They weren't phased and took it in their stride. 
So even after an 8 hour trip they were happy to join us for a meal and an evening getting to know each other and we all got on so well. Instant friends.
The 2 weeks they were here they let us know daily how everything was and how pet family were, with photos and updates, and we were able to answer any questions for them. 
They looked after the garden and house equally as well and we came home to clean and tidy house and thriving garden after a monumental trip back from the UK and a day early due to high winds that may have restricted us getting off the Isle of Wight and therefor delay their return. They weren't again phased at all and were just so laid back. 
Lovely people. Lovely pet and housesitters and we hope now lovely friends and we would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about letting these people into your home and life with a solid 5 *
