Dog Sitters in Salcombe

We are so glad we picked Matt to come look after our dogs. He was so accommodating to the time we wanted to leave and went out of his way to arrive the night before so we could head off early in the morning. He did such a great job with the dogs and they loved him, they enjoyed being spoiled and were sad when he left. On the night we returned he cooked us all a lovely meal and the house was spotless, he’s so interesting to talk to and we hope we have made a new friend that we will see again!

This was out first house sit with Melanie. She came to visit prior to her stay, to meet the dogs and familiarise herself with the house. Melanie asked relevant questions about the dogs routine, feeding etc, so we left feeling very confident, the dogs and house were in safe hands. Although we were only away for one night, we were sent photographs of the dogs out walking on the beach and a message from Melanie reassuring us that everything was fine. When we returned home, the dogs were happy and well and the house was left incredibly clean. We hope Melanie and Robin will be available to house sit for us again. Thank you both.

I recommend Caroline and Barry without hesitation. We had a phone call before we met and talked through their experience and our expectations. I had no concerns from that point forward. They messaged shortly before arrival to check all was as planned and to arrange a time. We had dinner together and a long walk with Laz to check all was OK before we left the next day. Barry and Caroline are independent, resourceful and clearly capable people. The house was as clean as we left it, towels in the wash. I couldn't have asked for more. Barry responded quickly to any messages, asked how much contact we would like and sent some lovely reassuring photos and messages of them out with Laz. Laz was in great condition when we returned after a week away, coat shiny and obviously well exercised. The photos of their days out together were evidence of how much he was included in Barry and Caroline's stay and exploration of all that mid Cornwall has to offer. Laz is a great car traveller. You don't know he is there and he is happy to go for days out, especially if there is fuss and food in with it! They are friendly, sociable and easy company. I'm really glad that they applied for our sit. They endorse all that zeewoi hopes to provide and I would be very happy if they could return another time. For those lucky enough to have Barry and Caroline apply to sit, accept! You won't regret it....

James and Rachel had the very difficult task of looking after 7 pets , 2 of which were unwell and needed extra care.They coped brilliantly. They provided regular updates and pictures. The house was left spotless and all the pets were happy and well cared for on our return.

Glenn & Lyn were delightful with our cat Grayson. Grayson made friends with them quickly, and the friendship went both ways. Our home was very clean and organized when we arrived back (wonderful!) and Grayson was a happy boy. Glenn & Lyn are very welcome to come again.

Clara was a great sitter! The boys seemed to really love her, even Sterling came out of his shell super quickly which is unusual. She kept us updated with daily messages and pictures but was completely self sufficient so we could enjoy our break. The flat was left spotless and we were even welcomed home by a lovely bunch of sunflowers. Would highly recommend Clara to other pet parents.

Fleur looked after our home and our little dog Baby for 10 days while we were away in Canada. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet her in person but she was happy to have several video calls before her stay, and made us feel very comfortable with her looking after everything. We couldn’t have been happier - when we got home from holiday Baby had clearly been really well looked after, and had got lots of attention and cuddles. The house was in perfect condition, just as we had left it if not better! While we were away on holiday Fleur made sure to give us regular updates, with some cute photos of our little dog. Fleur was super polite, attentive and respectful of our home. We couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks Fleur x

Sarah was a fabulous sitter. She communicated well, was utterly reliable and took on pet care of an additional 10 foster cats and kittens which was really flexible and helpful. She took really good care of both our pets and the fosters which included very young animals. In addition to cleaning and feeding animals, she undertook giving medication. She and Andy took our dog out for walks and treated our home respectfully. I would unreservedly recommend Sarah as a pet sitter. I’m extremely grateful for her service and care.

Chiara is a lovely person and looked after our cat, Squirrel, very well. We came home to a happy contented cat and a spotlessly clean home. Thank you Chiara.

Jessica looked after Jack (12 yr Jack Russell dog) and Mr Socks (10 yr cat) for us. Pets were looked after very well which included 2 walks (sometimes more) per day and Mr Socks who likes to eat nearly all day long. Jessica is very kind thoughtful helpful and considerate young lady. Jessica showed great care and attention in all aspects of pet care and housesitting. Jessica is thoroughly recommended as a zeewoi for any home or pet. James and his partner Alexia came to us the day before our departure for a holiday in Turkey. We had already had a successful Zoom face to face meeting. They were absolutely charming and immediately got onto very good terms with our two dogs. We were able to give them details of the house rules and answer any questions. Throughout they were fully engaged and we had complete confidence in them. All went smoothly during our week away and on our return (at 2am) found the house in an immaculate state. James had got us some fresh milk as requested the day before we left Turkey. The next morning we had a good chat about their stay. It was our first experience of using zeewoi and also their first experience of this organisation as well. We were all very happy the way things worked out. My wife and I would strongly recommend them for any house sitting with pets in the future.

Ros was absolutely brilliant - the dogs loved her plus Dog. Very late review but this was just prior to lockdown! Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone.
