We had such a fantastic week caring for sweet little Prince Harry for Susanne and Steve! He truly is a little Prince, full of character and a joy to be around. Susanne and Steve are a lovely British couple, who welcomed us into their beautiful home with dinner and friendship. They are a very outgoing, happy couple and so easy to get to know. We had all the information we needed to care for Harry and their home, a beautiful kitchen for cooking and every amenity you could want. We couldn’t ask for a better housesitting opportunity! Susanne and Steve are great hosts and we highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting a beautiful location, dog and family.
Julie & Lee are extremely hospitable, good, kind & generous Salt of the Earth people and their kitties do not land very far from the tree. Oliver & Marlowe are wonderful hosts, such good company, keeping their guests constantly entertained with their indoor-outdoor cat antics & adventures. They are gentle, well-behaved and easy-to-care for. The location has the best of both worlds - it is at the very heart of busy Silicon Valley and Japan Town in Cupertino, as well as in close proximity to several hiking and recreational areas with lots of flora, fauna & beautiful vistas to be enjoyed. All in all, a truly incredible, not-to-be-missed, one-of-a-kind experience that anyone would be very fortunate indeed to have.
We had an amazing stay in rural Co. Wexford. We loved the location, the set up, looking after / hanging with all the animals as well as the amazing, generous hospitality of Will and Rojer. Other highlights included visiting Curracloe beach and cycling part of the Waterford Greenway. Highly recommended sit!
Tonka and Bella were a dream to care for: lovable, good natured, friendly, low maintenance. They truly lived up to their nickname “gentle giants.” We enjoyed our time with them, laughing as Bella loped across the backyard with her stick, scratching Tonka’s neck and shoulders as he leaned into us (Bella too, although she also liked hip “massages” as well!) and marveling at their gracefulness in spite of their size! They are both well behaved, quiet, sweet, personable pups. Jennifer and Dan’s home is, as other sitters have mentioned, comfortable, clean, well appointed and in a friendly, quiet, safe neighborhood. Parks, trails and grocery stores/restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend the opportunity to love on Tonka and Bella!
Maggie and Bob are great hosts. They gave us a clean house with supplies (even milk, bread etc.) and prepared dinner for us, so that we wouldn't have to run to the store right away. There is an excellent video that explains the whole house, that you can watch upfront. This way, there were basically no questions left. Grey Cat is shy at first, but will be your best friend once you start brushing him. He will ask you to let him in and out, but will manage himself if there is need. Change the water daily and give him fresh food in the mornings, that's about it. Lots of love and cuddles, of course. We enjoyed our stay very much and are grateful to Maggie and Bob for making such an effort.
I absolutely LOVED hanging out with Dom and Bija- Dom is such a chilled cuddly dog, loves the beach and got super silly fun zoomies, has really good off leash recall and was just generally amazing to be around. Maddy was such a kind host and was so communicative and I really enjoyed the week spent at their place. Glenn Park was such a lovely walk spot and is just 2minutes away 🌞 all round lovely time!
