Ender loved Alison and Paolo, he didn’t miss us at all. Communication was great. We texted about a couple of plants in the house and answered a couple of questions during the three weeks of their stay. The house was spic and span when they left. They gave us a ride to the bus stop when we left! When we needed their help getting a car key to a friend of ours, they stepped right up. Alison and Paolo are a lovely couple, they are kind and self reliant, and we hope to have them sit again for us in the future.

Pooja

Pooja was a stellar caregiver for our pug, who had an unexpected medical emergency while we were away, requiring a ton of extra care. Pooja was positive and communicative throughout, and she fielded this difficult curveball like a pro. It could have been a nightmare situation if we had a less responsible caregiver. Highly recommended!

Ruth

Ruth took care of my house and River for the second time last week, and did a great job. She is an excellent communicator and I can tell she really loves my pup. She takes great care of the house too - in particular helping with daily watering during this dry spell.

Heather

Heather and Paul were absolutely lovely in every way, from the first video interview to the final text when they were on their way home. They asked great questions, and arranged their arrival time so we could do an in-person handover. I could tell my Lilly was well cared for and loved, which made it much easier for me to focus on my business while away. Their great communication made even a last minute problem (that *I* was responsible for!) easy to for me to manage. I had made a mistake in the end date for the sit (which means I actually needed a sitter for a day longer than we had arranged) and as I made alternate plans for a relative to care for my cat on that last day, they were very kind and compassionate, offering to give Lilly her medication a bit earlier in the day so my relative didn't have to take that on. If it hadn't been for their excellent and timely communication, I might not have discovered my mistake until much later. I would most definitely invite Heather and Paul to stay in my home again! Thank you for everything!

Charles

Charles gave a lot of extra love and attention to my dog beyond what I expected. It was such a relief to know our dog was being taken care of so well while we were out of town. I hope to work with Charles again.

Cedar

Cedar did an incredible job with our dog, Hera. She and her partner had outstanding communication, were on-time, so pleasant and lovely to be around, and took excellent care of our home and our fur baby! We could tell that Hera took to them right away, and it was clear from their communication and AWESOME pics that they quickly got to know our quirky pup! Highly recommend Cedar!

Tara

Tara was SO much more than I'd ever expected. In every way she was excellent in her care of my dog and home. She kept me informed with photos and notes so I always felt connected and aware of how the sit was going. When my return was delayed by unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances she was able to continue the sit by a day which was a great relief. I returned to a very clean and tidy home and a dog that was of course glad to see me again but not anxious or in any way exhibiting any behavior that would make me question her time with Tara. My dog instead reenforced that she had been very well cared for in all aspects. Yes, I certainly hope that in the future I'll be able to have Tara return when I next need a sitter.

Allison

Allison was great! She took wonderful care of our pet, Chadwick. She provided daily updates with pictures. Allison went above and beyond what we asked of her and left our place clean and tidy for us to come home to.

Amanda & Rajeev

Amanda and Rajeev were terrific housesitters and perfect for our 3 dogs. When we returned from our trip, we could tell the dogs were well taken care of and got plenty of activity. They constantly sent photos of them cuddling and loving on our boys, which allowed us to be away with ease. Would love to have them back again as future housesitters and even hang out with them! Highly recommend to anyone considering them!

Effie was great ! Keep me up to date on Raleigh and took care of my house well. Would host her again!

Audrey

Audrey was very accommodating and easy to coordinate with. She was also very sweet on the cats and left our place in great condition -- even leaving a homemade meal for us in the fridge, which came in clutch after a full day of traveling! Glad I had someone so lovely to take care of our cats while we were away.

Malu

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Malu. She took such excellent care of our creatures, especially our mischievous, extremely high-energy puppy. She's welcome back anytime, we'd be luck to have her stay at our place again!

We genuinely cherished our time while sitting for Danielle at her beautiful cabin, which is located in a lovely area, surrounded by great hikes, waterfalls, and cute towns. The beds are super comfy and the back patio has a great jacuzzi and nice seating areas with a fire pit. 
Danielle was friendly, considerate, and kind. We loved taking care of Gracie and getting to know her fun loving personality. She was easy to care for and went on many hikes/adventures with us. 
We would definitely return to care for Gracie again!

Oh where do I start with this review?!!? Faye and Stryder were such fun to care for this past week. But this really went beyond just sitting with those two. I feel like I made two forever friends with them.  I already missed them last night when I climbed into bed and neither of them was there to snuggle with me. 

They are fun, easy going, and so loving.  When I came back from exploring every day I was greeted with such enthusiasm it melted my heart.

Heather and Eric's Meta Home was a perfect spot for cooking, reading, relaxing with the pups, and their outside space is to die for. Too bad it was a bit cold for enjoying it this time, but for anyone lucky enough to be here in the warmer months its a space you won't want to leave!

Speaking of the pupper's parents; I am thrilled to call Heather and Eric friends!  They are wonderful people and made sure throughout the whole process that I was comfortable and welcomed into their family.

Effy the cat was lovely and friendly, and easy to look after. Helen left very clear instructions in a manual for every eventuality. The apartment is in a very handy spot to Central Wellington, bright and warm. I would be more than happy to sit for Effy anytime.

I really enjoyed caring for Byron in Berlin for Susanne and Henning. They live in a lovely apartment in a great part of town, and they made me feel extremely welcome in their home. 

The apartment itself is spacious and light, and it's located in a peaceful yet centrally located area with great transport links both in and out of Berlin just a few minutes walk away. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are also plentiful nearby. The neighbourhood feels local rather than touristy, and there is a great farmers market nearby twice a week.

Byron himself has a lovely temperament and was friendly, entertaining, charming and well behaved throughout. It was a pleasure to hang out with him, and I thoroughly recommend this sitting opportunity to anyone considering it.

Serena

Serena was very nice and upfront about her new wild kitty! Both cats were super friendly and I had a lot of fun playing with the kitten and watching him run around the house like a tornado! Darth was a lot more laid back and reserved. But he warmed up to me fast and really enjoyed chin rubs. 10/10 kitties!

Lester & Dawn kindly welcomed me into their home and even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station since I don't have my own car. The instructions for each pet were clear, each animal has its routine, and I had no problems during my stay. Pickles is very sweet and obedient. Lizzy is independent, but she is willing to cuddle up when it's cold, and Figaro still has that kitty energy, so he is ready to play. The landscape is perfect for resting, and the house is very nice. I highly recommend this sit!
