Hedy and Irv are excellent hosts driving us around to show us hiking trails and consignment stores. Their home is located conveniently to access shopping for fresh vegetables and fruits. Their backyard with pool is perfect for outdoor living. Riley is a great dog to look after he loves going for walks and hikes. Hedy and Irv even took us on a UTV adventure with a group close to the Mexico border. This is a great place to explore the many wonderful aspects of the desert. You will thoroughly enjoy this home and Riley and the horses. Hedy and Irv both interesting and very accommodating hosts.
Marlo was a very attentive, well behaved and loving dog. He would follow you around the house and was always up for a cuddle or a game of tug of war with one of his toys. We really enjoyed taking him for walks and exploring the area - especially when he had his ball! Leena and Mike were very accommodating and great at communication and the house is in a great location. Ryan and I were absolutely smitten with Marlo from day one and we will always look back on our happy memories of him with a smile.
Our stay with Flynn was very pleasant. We were very lucky to have found this sit, and to have had the opportunity to meet Gary, Helene, and Eloise; absolutely adorable people, incredibly hospitable and easy. From the moment we arrived in the city, Garry waited for us at the station with a big smile and a warm hug, as if we were family. He gave us a complete tour of the neighborhood, and treated us to a delicious dinner in the best pub in Ealing. Flynn is energetic and active, but very easy to take care of, as he is super smart, sweet and obedient. He knows the way to all the nearby parks, and he loves making friends along the way, so we met a lot of nice people from the neighborhood too. Impossible to get bored being with Flynn! The house is very spacious and bright, clean and well maintained. We had a lovely time there with the sweet company of Flynn. We would definitely consider looking after him again. Thank you Gary and Helene!
We had a very enjoyable time caring for Chilli and Springy. They are cute as a button and entertaining. They both loved petting on the stairs whenever we walked past and liked playing with kitty toys. Their routine and feeding was straightforward and allowed us to go out in between for a few hours. They were happy entertaining themselves or sleeping, and happy to have us at home too. Joe and Juhi welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home and took us through Chilli and Springy's rituals and routines. We had everything we needed and more! York itself is fun to visit, there are buses and cafes close by the house, and you can venture a bit further afield if you wish. Overall a wonderful sit we recommend!
Dawn was really kind and communicative, and Ziggy is a wonderful dog who wants nothing more than as many romps in the snow and cuddles as possible. I had fun taking him out on the trails and meeting the neighbors along the way. The house is in a great location - just a few minutes from grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants in town, a small climbing gym, and lots of hiking trails. The place is comfortable and cozy, and having the wood stove was awesome!
