We went to the US Open this week and had the delightful opportunity to take our two Cavalier’s (18 weeks old) to WaggsN’Naggs. The boys had so much fun. I highly recommend this business the staff and owners are incredible, friendly and very good with pets. Thank you so much for giving us peace of mind while enjoying the golf tournament.

We take our little dachshund there. It is very clean and is run very professionally. There are separate areas for little dogs and big dogs. Highly recommend. !!!

Zero stars. I used to bring my pup here, i had to stop. Warning all my friends as well. Be VERY aware, the older female employee is always drunk on the job. So, if you care about your dog(s), and their safety, don't come here. I don't understand why the business owner would allow such unethical and unprofessional behavior. Barbara, do better.

Just started to attend the saturdy 9:00 a.m. puppy Socialisation Sessions 2 weeks into a puppy training class and 2 weeks into a dog training class with another dog Barb does a great job!! My puppy 🐶 is tired after all that work! …

Barbara is an amazing trainer. She is very resourceful and helpful. She is compassionate, yet she is not afraid to confront one with the truth. She truly loves animals and teaches us to train our pets with love, patience, and dedication. We have take our puppy to the beginner class and the drop in class. They are both great classes. We will be taking him to our Canine Good Citizenship test class. We also take our dog to the daycare. The experience has been great! We love this place. The place is really clean and humane. Your dog will enjoy coming here.

Very convenient hours and the ability to drop off your fur baby without having to schedule ahead is a bonus. My dog told me she really likes it there too. It's a win-win! Update: Still love the convenience of open drop off hours. I believe this is the only business in town that's this accommodating. And my dog plans her whole week around hanging out with her friends at From the Heart.

Left my puppy there for 8 hours to play while I made us some money to bring home the good bacon. By the end of the day she was exhausted. I guess she was a little too vocal and had a citronella (I think that is what I heard) collar put on her to calm her down. Highly recommend this day care. It is close to where I work and a few colleagues have dropped off there pets here as well.

Love Barbara and her training methods. Kai my Baby Chow Chow puppy attended puppy class. He is also signed up for Drop In Class and he attends doggie daycare. I love that he gets to socialize as you know Chows can be rather aloof, but here he loves interacting with his classmates! Great place.

Barbara is a great trainer and Westministers trainer of the year one year. From the heart dog training has been voted the best trainer in this year in this area for the past five years.

Perfect place for my dog, perhaps yours? I was SO happy to find this place, and am surprised no one has posted a comment. Wide open spaces, gracious caretakers, and lots of happy pets. My in-house dog-sitter moved away, and I was stuck trying to find a place to put a dog that needed attention from humans and as many other dogs as possible during my work day. My Mom found this place, and the moment I walked in I knew it was the place for my precious Lirio, a Siberian Husky who MUST be keep busy. As I write this is her first week there, and she is happy to see me at the end of the day, but exhausted from fun.

Can't say enough about this amazing dog care & training family! And that's what they are family. I never worry about my pup. They love him like he's theirs.

Absolutely the best dog sitting experience I have ever had. I truly wish more places were as easy and as quality as Signature Paw Spa. We were very lucky for a last minute puppy sitters Josh and Sheadon that took great care of our little girl. They asked all important questions and were very professional. I can tell our little one was well cared for. I also really love that they give you the option for the pet to be dropped off to you! Thanks so much guys!

So my friends and I rarely get days off together. When we did we decided to go to Monterey. We brought our 2 dogs and unfortunately we cant bring them to Aquarium. Last minute I called Signature Paw Spa and luckily they have availability. I dropped my dogs just 15-20 mins after I called them and we all were able to go to the aquarium. They are really nice people and had kept me updated about my babies from time to time and My babies seemed to have enjoyed their time at Tonya's. I definitely recommend them

It was my first time leaving my 5 month old puppy with a pet sitter, and Signature Pet Spa/Tonya was awesome to put both me and my pup at ease. Tonya managed to work me in even though I called the day before I needed a pet sitter. She sent updates and pictures of my puppy enjoying her day, and my pup came back to me happy and well exercised when I picked her up. I definitely will be using Signature Pet Spa again!

Hands down the best dog experience!!!! I’ve used many dog services while traveling and I have to say ginger loved this place the moment she arrived. The owner came out to greet her and I when we arrived, which is a wonderful added bonus compared to some other place I have been to. The property offers a big grassy area for her to run and play, I was thrilled to see Tanya bonded perfectly from the moment ginger arrived. The pick up process was smooth and efficient since I was rushing to get back out of town. I would recommend this place to everyone with a beloved dog.

We called to get last minute day care for our dog, Gunner, during the US Open. The owner was so accommodating and made our pup feel right at home. If you are traveling to the area from out of town I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of doggie day care!

Signature Paw Spa is a life saver. My dog sitter canceled last minute on me and I was able to get my dog Charlie in at Signature Paw Spa. They sent me lots of pictures and videos of him playing with all his other little friends. Charlie was in their care for 3 days and he had a fabulous time! Tonya was so nice and accommodating - we asked for overnight boarding on the weekend with no notice and she was able to take our dog no problem. We got a few updates during his stay and felt very confident that he was getting great care in a wonderful setting. We would absolutely go to signature paw spa again!

Convenient location for Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. Tonya coordinated everything and was so nice to be flexible to our travel plans.. Decker was given lots attention and came back to us very happy

Dogwood is an absolute lifesaver! Our high-energy Border Collie/German Shepherd mix has boarded at Dogwood over 10 times, and we couldn't be happier with their care. She can be a bit anxious, but it's clear she feels right at home there. The staff is incredibly loving and attentive, and we always feel completely at ease knowing she’s in such good hands. We especially appreciate the pictures they send us while we’re away – it's so nice to see her happy face!

My three family dogs have been visiting Dogwood Ranch for many years now- on a very regular basis. We utilize the transportation option and they bolt out the front door and into the transporters car every time. They love their visits to "camp Dogwood." Jessica and her amazing team have nursed my dog through a genetic illness and shared in the joys of new puppies. They have trained my dogs excellently and have provided me videos of the training sessions so I know what to work on at home. The staff is so helpful and organized. I often forget to select my grooming and they always follow up before my boys come home and ask if I want grooming. If I call or text, I get a very quick response. They keep all of the kennels and play areas very clean. All dogs have to be up to date on vaccines and thankfully, they require bordetella vaccine every 6 months. My dogs have NEVER come home with any illness or issues. I appreciate that they require a temperament visit for each new client, it makes me feel very secure that my dogs will not be with any aggressive dogs. During my dogs visits, I receive photos so often. On holidays, they take photos of the dogs with a festive background. I have utilized almost every boarding option at one point or another. The selection is big-- extra cuddles, sleeping inside, extra play time, treats, etc. The grooming options are always expanding and my dogs come home clean and smelling so nice each time-- with clean teeth! My dogs come home tired and very happy every time. They spend a couple of days being very lazy after their time at "camp." There is no other boarding facility I would utilize for our family dogs. Ever. I trust Jessica and her team more than anything. I know that they are professional, kind, and absolutely treat my dogs like family.

Highly recommend! A well run pet resort in every way. Highly organized, almost all sizes and breeds accommodated. Your pets' health and well-being are a top priority and not an afterthought.

The facility is very clean and well maintained. I took Gracie for a "temperament check" which is required before you can board your dog. I like that they check out the dogs and place your dog in the group your dog would feel most comfortable in. I look forward to boarding Gracie, it gives me peace of mind that she will be well taken care of.

My boy loves going to Dogwood! There are multiple yards to match dogs of similar age with similar play styles. I love how it is all outdoors, and my boy enjoys it way more than indoor play yards. The staff there is always so nice and let's me know how his day went. They even send pictures and videos during the day! During the holidays, they also dress some of the dogs up to take pictures, it's so cute! Dogwood is definitely the best doggy day care we've been to!

We love the staff and facilities at Dogwood Ranch Pet Resort! Yara has been going to doggie daycare weekly and occasional boarding. She whines and howls when we arrive and can’t wait to get in there and see her buddies. She had a great bath yesterday and looks and smells so much better! The staff is very attentive and the large outdoor areas give the dogs plenty of space to play. Our neighbor recommended the ranch, and we are happy to have found a good and caring doggie daycare and boarding place!

Our experience exceeded expectations. Communication is phenomenal. They worked diligently with me throughout our pup’s stay, which offered us peace of mind and comfort. Our pup is always overjoyed when we drop him off. He comes home clean, tired, and very happy. I applaud them for all the fun stuff they do and especially for keeping our pup safe and healthy.

What an incredible discovery - we should have done this years ago. Covid decimated the pool of dog sitters that we’d used for years. We finally steered ourselves to Dogwood Ranch and read the reviews. We got into hi gear to get all the health info together so we could schedule a behavior testing for our dogs. It happened today and they aced it!! We were so impressed with the staff we met, with the dogs we saw standing with many others in a field. No fights, calm looking, peaceful. A GREAT initial impression. After 4 hours we picked our two up - the old one was calm, not anxious for us to hurry up and put her in the car. The young one was tired and happy - he got to run and play. This is now our place of choice when we need care for our kids. Dogwood Ranch gets 5 gold stars from us.

I've been a loyal customer of Dawg Gone It Kennel in Monterey for the past three years, regularly boarding our Labrador, Gracie, there when we travel. Until now, we've always had positive experiences, and Gracie has come back happy. However, this past Wednesday, I left her there for just one night due to an out-of-town event, and the situation was alarming upon her return. When we picked her up, Gracie could hardly walk. Her right thigh seemed uninjured, yet she struggled to use it. She couldn't stand on her own, even to get out of the truck at home, so my husband had to help her up the stairs. Disturbingly, Gracie has eaten only twice since we brought her back on Thursday. We've reached out to Dawg Gone It to find out what happened, but no one seems to have any answers. We requested a review of the surveillance footage and were assured it would happen, but so far, nothing has been done. Despite promises that the manager would call us, she hasn't. When we called again on Friday, we were told that the owner was dealing with personal issues and couldn't review the video. Now it's Saturday, three days since Gracie came home, and neither a manager nor the owner has reached out or explained what occurred. Although her leg is improving slightly, she still refuses to eat. I'm extremely disappointed and disheartened that the staff at Dawg Gone It is prioritizing personal matters over addressing the concerns of their customers, especially when a beloved pet was returned in such distress. Sadly, we will not be using their services again

We've had our dogs there multiple times, for multiple nights stay. Always happy to walk in. Nobody ever comes home acting traumatized. You can walk in there and ask to be shown the place at random. I've done this. The staff that work there are nice. I've never had any issues. A++

Thank you for taking such good care of Augustus. I really appreciated the peace of mind I got knowing how well cared for he was. I especially appreciated the playtime with the other dogs, your working his medication in with his food, the attentive staff, and lastly, the wonderful grooming before pick up. This is our go to home away from home for our pups. While we hate to leave them, we always know they will be safe and well cared for here. It gets expensive if you load up walks, play time and cuddles. Have a plan when going in or you will add everything at check in and get surprised when you pay. Be sure to book your reservation a free weeks ahead of time in the summer.

I found myself in a situation where I had to board my service dog over night. this was not something I was comfortable doing and was very stressed. Dawg Gone It was absolutely wonderful. they allowed me to tour their facility even tho it was a last minute need and they where closing. it was clean and very nice by the time I left I felt comfortable leaving such an important dog in their care. They where respectful and obeyed my request that her Fi tracking collar be left on at all times. I feel confident knowing that if I ever travel in that area again and run into the need to board Snow that she will be safe and well cared for.

Our Aussie, Gus, seemed to have enjoyed his stay at Dawg Gone It more than our previous arrangements via Rover. He stayed for a day and a half. I think it was $35-40 for one night and then an additional $10 per hour of group play time. Although I wish these types of services we're included in the stay, they did provide a long list of a variety of services at different price points and packages. The staff also shared a couple of stories about Gus' stay when we came in to pick him up, which was nice and personal.

My doggie Lucy has always been treated with kindness and gentleness. I would never leave her anywhere else! Stephanie and Rob are doing a great job! Every one of their workers are A+ wonderful!

Wish I could give zero stars. Said my dog wasn’t interested in socializing with other dogs and kept my medium sized dog in a small kennel the entire week. Pretty suspicious that there are 3 reviews written but 101 total “reviews”. Just wanted to give others better expectation on what you are getting for the price. Will not use again.

I have boarded my two beagles here several times over the years. I took a tour of the place before I left them for the first time and was impressed by the overall cleanliness, security and bright and happy atmosphere of this facility. I feel 100% confident that my dogs are safe when they are staying at Doggone It in Monterey. The staff is polite and friendly, follow my feeding instructions carefully (one of my dogs was older and had some special needs) and my dogs are so happy when I pick them up. I highly recommend Doggone It to anyone looking for a great place for their dogs to stay for daycare or overnight boarding.

We have used Wilf's Place Pet Services three times and each time is a great experience. The owners are contentious, clean, caring, and great at communication. We get photos every day of the dogs and updates about what they've done that day. We know our dogs will get their medication at the right time, and that they are in a safe doggie-safe home where they play with their dog buddies. We can take our vacations and work trips without worrying about our doggies and will continue to use this great business.

Luna did well during her 4-hour temperment test. They have a nice and large back area with canopies for the dogs to play while we are on vacation. We plan to leave her in their care for 9 days at the end of October beginning of November. We live in San Francisco and the price difference is steep for pet boarding. I'm saving $600 having my pet boarded in Hollister. Luna has been doing great during her stay! The staff send updates and pictures of her playing frequently. We will definitely use this service in the future. We have family in Hollister that can be our contact for Luna while we're away. I think you should try this pet resort! They seem really nice.

I boarded my Border Collie Trixie for 8 days while on a trip to the East Coast. She had a very good time and was well taken care of. I will definitely take her back for daycare and when I go on vacation. She also got a bath and a nail trim so she came home sweet smelling, trimmed and tired. I would recommend Parkland Pet Resort for your dogs.

I have been bringing my dog Harley to there 1st place in Salinas and always have been pleased with the quality and care they give them. Now that they are in Hollister & only 5mins from me I have been here 5-6 time now & couldn’t be more grateful for the same great care they provide for all dogs here. I would highly recommend Parkland Resort & will always continue to bring my dog. With such a great staff why would I go anywhere else.

I’ve been taking our chihuahua here for a few weeks. He’s being staying just a few hours at a time “day care”, to prepare him for some upcoming overnight stays. The location is well kept and staff are friendly and helpful. They send me updates via text with any behavioral concerns for my dog. He seems to enjoy the time he’s been spending socializing with other dogs. I will continue to bring him here.

I was looking for a safer place for my dog to get socialization other than the dog park. A friend recommended Parkland to me, and to my surprise, they are a very legit company. They know dogs. All dogs go through a four hour temperament test, not all dogs make it past because they are very strategic on what pack your dog fits into, which is how it should be. For example, If I am a Sales Person, you would not pair me up with a Software Engineer, because we just would not really get along, we have different energy and energy output. The facility is top notch, and they have an online portal where you can book and schedule everything you need, and also pay. Which is awesome for me because I am a corporate girly, with little time. I am very grateful to the staff at Parkland, and to the owners who took a risk to open the facility.I cant even imagine not having them anymore, and dont know how i managed before they opened. Thank you for everything, seriously.

I just boarded my 1 year old dog at Parkland for 5 days and he had such a blast. It was the first time boarding in general and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, communicative and they even sent us a couple update photos on pickup day. I am so glad we have such a great facility in Hollister!

The question is, am I going on vacation or is my dog? I’ll let you answer that when you see this place. Beautiful new facility and the staff is awesome! Really knowledgeable and super nice. I know (we’re both) excited for the next trip away.

Easily 10 stars out of 5!!! Jen met us and our two dogs for a day visit a couple weeks ago. Our dogs had been total homebodies and never socialized with other dogs. Jen made us at ease and when we picked them up they were happy, exhausted and had played with the other dogs all day. She said she would introduce the dogs one at a time and make them comfortable. We were so happy with the day visit we used her for a four day vacation. This location is Disneyland for doggies. Jen and her family love the dogs and interact with them all day and night. We received daily updates, pictures and videos. This is above and beyond what we had received at another boarding location. Knowing our dogs were safe and happy allowed us to enjoy our trip. Jen even worked one on one with our two dogs, teaching the pup to play well with the little dog. She is truly amazing and we recommend her and will be using her for more trips in the future.

Beyond 5 Stars! We are locals and were going on vacation to Europe and needed a place to leave our Aussie. She's really sensitive to the noise of garbage trucks and UPS/FedEx trucks so we were hoping for something quiet. The Kloud 9 property is set 'up above the road' and is accessible by a narrow driveway, too small for the above mentioned trucks - so quiet for our dog! Jen kept us updated with emails and many photos of our dog having a great time with many of the other dogs boarding there. Knowing our pup was well cared for and having a good time made us feel great. When we got back we could tell that our dog was happy to see us but was sad to be leaving Jen and Kloud 9.

We love Kloud 9 Ranch. Our dog is so well taken care of there. Jen, the owner, is a veterinary tech and she loves to work with dogs. She has done very good things with our "reactive" dog and she always has such "spot-on" insights into our dog's behavior.

Walter loves coming here. Jen gives him so much attention. He comes home exhausted from so much fun. The place is sparkling clean, doesn't reek of dog and Jen is just so nice to work with. We wish her many many more years of success, because I'd hate to take our dog anywhere else.

I contacted Kloud 9 Ranch via email in an attempt to board my dog, and never received a response. When several days passed, I called to no answer and subsequently sent a text to follow-up. I received a very short response saying they are not taking new clients, which is fine, however if I would've received a response I would've looked elsewhere and not have been in a pickle trying to board my dog on short notice. I thanked the owner and simply asked/recommended that they post that on the website or respond to reservation requests with that information. I was completely shocked when I received the most unprofessional response: "If I had time for that I would but I do not and since you feel the need to give advice I will return the favor. Don't assume you know anything about anyone before you speak to them personally." While anyone can understand that life events happen that limit people's time, it is ludicrous to me that a business owner would take such a rude approach to a potential client. Word to the wise to anyone considering reaching out to this person for dog boarding, save yourself the time and curt interaction.

This is a beautiful impressive place where dogs and people are treated personally and with respect, attention to detail, careful planning and a background of experience. It is a fun and relaxing mood up there, but also no-nonsense ....about health, security and discerning and meeting individual needs.

Melissa was absolutely amazing with our pup Sage. She was able to take her on such short notice for our wedding. She was very thorough and knew lots about Frenchies which made me feel at ease. It was our first time having Sage be puppy sat and have an overnight stay so I had lots of questions and Melissa was so kind and reassuring with all of them. I just knew Sage would be in good hands and love miss Melissa. She sent me cute pics and videos throughout her stay and was very accommodating with her additional pickups/drop offs for Sage’s part in our wedding. I highly recommend Melissa for over night stays and any other services you’d need for your pups, she’s a kind, sweet, caring, and trustworthy Soul.

I can’t say how much Melissa at Pets by the Sea meant to our family to help watch our dog Deiter. He was a very sweet boy but couldn’t be around other dogs - she made sure to take extra care of him and he acted like we were never gone when we got back from our trip. We know he must have been happy and we couldn’t have been happier. She sent us texts and pictures to show how good he was! We highly recommend Melissa and when we get another dog one day, we will ask her for her services again. Top notch!!

What a great experience!! My husband and I wanted to have a nice dinner for our Anniversary and Pets by the sea took wonderful care of our pug while we did so. Pets By The Sea provides a wonderful pet care service with convenient pick up and delivery. Bandit and Raider, our 1 year old West Highland Terriers, are FULL of energy. We were so thankful to find Melissa and Jaden and have used them several times on our trips to Carmel. They are professional, reliable, so friendly ... and they give our boys a GREAT workout! Bandit and Raider are big fans, and so are we!

My Cavapoo Ollie had his very first hair cut/spa day with Michelle and we were thrilled! Michelle is so gentle, caring and knowledgeable and my pup loves her. I would never take him anywhere else. And she not only does an amazing job, she is efficient and Ollie never has to go in a crate and wait to be groomed for hours. She picks him up and drops him off and he is always so excited to see her so I know he is good hands. I have referred numerous dog owners to her since she not only grooms, but dog walks, and pet sits! Michelle is a pro and we love her!!!!

Michelle is amazing! We have two Australian Shepherd dogs. The older one hated getting groomed at the large facilities, but was so much happier with her! They always look so adorable after her stellar grooming skills! Always on time and great with communication! Love the All Starr experiences ❤️

Michelle has groomed our dog Oso several times and she has always done a FANTASTIC job. She’s great about communicating what she is going to do and why and is enthusiastic to help with other pet needs and recommending affordable and effective products. Apart from Oso coming home smelling clean and feeling so, so soft one of my favorite things about Michelle is her flexibility! Truly, you will not go wrong hiring Michelle!

I have been using Michelle to pet sit my precious mini schnauzer, Pearl, and cat, Peanut, for several years. She is very knowledgeable on animals, and gives them tons of love when I'm out of town. She sends me pictures and updates that let me know they are doing well so I can relax and enjoy my vacation. She also takes Pearl for daycare and gives her lots of walks! Very trustworthy!

I just love Michelle! She is always on time, takes her time with Bug (our 4 year old pit bull) and always is very attentive. Her prices are very reasonable and she always has a friendly smile. ALSO... Shes like the post man... rain, snow, sleet or shine= she comes to rescue!
