Awesome experience! Anusha and Harish were wonderful hosts. They encouraged me to help myself to anything about the apartment and to make myself a home. They were so accommodating and considerate - willing to work with me and around my travel schedule. They even brought me back some chocolate from their trip to London! Their little ones are a dream. So much character and playful energy. They love being in your presence - Jerry, from afar, and Tom, by your side. Overall, I highly recommend. You’ll love the central, downtown location and walkability. So many good restaurants and bars will be at your fingertips.
We continue to strike gold with yet another wonderful sit. We had the opportunity to visit Nick, Loiuse & star of the show - Beau (Old English Sheepdog) prior to the sit which gave us all the chance to meet and discuss the details of the house and Beau. Nick & Louise have moved to a lovely part of the UK with fabulous walks in both countryside and beaches. We had a fantastic couple of weeks and the time absolutely flew past. The bungalow is beautiful, spotlessly clean, warm and has solar panels which was great knowing that some of the power being used is 'free'. The four poster bed was super comfortable and Beau was not an early riser so lots of great nights sleep. They have a rangemaster cooker which needs to be preheated but we barely used it as I loved experimenting with their Ninja foodi/air fryer and even baked a cake in it! Loved it so much I am going to trade up my instant pot 😁. Beau is an exuberant 2 year old big dog so does need sitters experienced with big dogs. He does walk lovely on the lead without pulling and has a halti collar too for when in busy places as it does keep him calm. His recall is a work in progress as he is still easily distracted but we were able to let him have free run around on the nearby Pembrey beach which most days was completely empty, so we were able to spend a good amount of time there practicing commands with him. It is only 15 minutes away and on the way back there is a very dog friendly farm shop and cafe which served lovely meals and the all important coffee and cake! We are really looking forward to returning in the summer and getting the biggest cuddles ever from the gorgeous Beau.
We had the best time staying with Christine’s cuddle party in Lincoln Heights for two weeks! Zoie, Raja and Bleu are extremely friendly, lovable and cuddly pets. We were shocked how well-behaving these pets can be! Christine is just a great human being: attentive and always responsive! Was a pleasure to be in touch with you! The location is a dream! It’s just 15 mins drive from the spectacular Financial District of LA. The apartment is at the first floor of the house and it’s amazing, clean and freshly renovated. Tons of bars, restaurants, cafe’s, movie shooting locations, such as from Chanted, Fast and Furious, Drive, 500 Days of Summer, La La Land etc. are all over around. About transportation: LA is a car-city, and I strongly suggest renting a car before you get there, since Uber costs are triple more than renting a car + public transport wouldn’t get you to the places you want, don’t even try. Example: From the suggested point A to point B public transport will get you with 4 changes - 1 hour 40 minutes of your time. Car will take you the same distance - 20 minutes. Ridiculous? It’s LA! Also if you wanna save some coins on gas, can rent an Electric Vehicle, tons of offers in Turo. What’s fun is - 15 minutes drive from the apartment are the only two FREE charging stations in LA- Shell Recharge Charging Stations. 1230 W 3rd St, Los Angeles,CA 90017 and 111 Hope St. (5 mins drive from the first location) it will charge your car in 1.5 hours while you are having a coffee with pals in Downtown and you will be ready for further adventures:) Overall me and Steph had the most pleasant time when sitting with these babies! We even wanted to take all of them with us, how cute they are! I recommend hanging out with Christine, Zoie, Raja and Bleu to each and everyone, who will stumble upon the listing! Charlie is a lovable, big bear of a dog. He's pretty elderly now and can only really manage short walks, although he would like to go further. The house was georgous and Andrew a great host.
Most fun part of this sit? Waking up with Maggie and Nicky, who get so excited about the fun a new day may hold, and who give the best good-morning greetings. They express preferences differently; Maggie will sit quietly by the door when it’s time for a walk, and Nicky will be more vocal. Maggie most enjoys eating while Nicky most delights in napping and being with Maggie. I had a great time with them, and they offer great photo ops. On top of all that, Jeri and Bruce were so welcoming and gracious, sharing a wealth of information about options for Santa Fe activities. Their home is absolutely lovely, decorated in traditional Santa Fe style, and located in a quiet development just south (and away from the hubbub) of the city. Oh yes, fellow sitters, this is a prized opportunity, so only submit your very best applications!
Rickey and Anela were lovely and friendly people who really made me feel at home. And Luci and Chloe were two of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet! And to top it off, on our last night together I was treated to some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. A perfect stay :-)
