Kris was a wonderful sitter!! My kitty, Monster, suffered a paw abscess while I was away and Kris handled the issue responsibly and diligently so that I was entirely comfortable leaving treatment/care decisions up to her in my absence. She cared for Monster like her own and regularly kept me up to date on Monster’s progress allowing me to focus on my tasks without interruption. On my return home Monster was back to normal didn’t even seem to notice I had left - Thank you so much Kris!!!

Thanks for the house sit. Loved looking at the kangaroos and taking scrappy for his daily walks past the roos and upto the golf course. I think scrappy enjoyed his daily walks also.

Holly and I very much enjoyed our time in Ramsbury. Helen and Paul welcomed us into their home, walked us through all aspects of the home and responsibilities. All communication was clear and thorough, and as a result, there were no surprises. Cleo is an independent cat, that enjoys a good pet and will let you know when and where to be fed. Darcy is a sweet dog that loves walking in the countryside, loves to be petted, and will also let you know when it is time for dinner. Both animals were very easy to care for. The chickens were a joy to be around, very relaxing, enjoy interacting with us, and produced eggs for breakfast. Chicken TV was fun to watch. The town of Ramsbury is a very relaxing place, easy to walk downtown for dinner, very easy to walk into the countryside from. Thanks Paul and Helen for your hospitality, and getting us to the train station when the sit was completed. Stay well and enjoy your summer.

House/Petsitting at Everest's farm was a unique and wonderful experience. I have taken care of dogs and cats and fish and birds for years, but I took a week from work and wanted a change in perspective that involved something far removed from our modern lives. I also wanted to spend some time caring for farm animals (it had been years) and find out about how I felt being in a rural environment as a lifestyle. I fell in love with it all.

It helped that Everest has some modern amenities such as Bluetooth capabilities for audio and a mini-split for relief from the heat in the summer. Everest was also amazing in responding to questions with clarity and notable grace. Truly, a perfect host.

This is a remarkable place and it is clear that Everest has put much love and care into their home, land, pets, and farm animals. There are the sheep of course (too cute to bear) and then the ducks, the frogs, the geese, and (drumroll please) Badger the dog and Dragon the cat. I must say I fell in LOVE with Badger, a constant companion and protector, and Dragon the most squishy, cuddly feline!

If you don't like to dig in and enjoy farm work - don't apply. But if you are like me and others wanting to either get away from our concrete and technologically dependent lives... and find the magic of the dirt and the fur and the feathers and the trees..... this is the place.

Andrea
We had a wonderful week looking after the very sweet Cura. She’s a lovely pup who was very easy to care for and is very loveable. We were very comfortable in Andrea and Andrew’s home. The bed is extremely comfortable! The home has every convenience that you might need. Everything was thought out and prepared for us. We were left a map of great dog walks to take Cura on. We enjoyed visiting these over the week. The home is in a lovely part of Surrey with lots of beautiful places to visit. We would highly recommend. They even let us bring our own dog with us. Thank you so much Andrea and Andrew for a fantastic stay.
