We had a WONDERFUL time in Franklin, Tn on their beautiful estate with well trained and loving fur kids, Bowie and Freddie. They are just such happy, loved, and well cared for Labs.
David, Lisa, Lucy and Vivi are a sweet family that made us feel so welcome and they are good communicators-which is very important to us.
Before we came they sent us a detailed welcome guide with all the information we needed- from care and feeding of the dogs to house details, vet care, neighbors to reach out to and restaurants to visit. I wish all hosts would provide that information.
When we arrived they walked the house and property with us and we immediately felt at home. Their home is a slice of heaven in the green hills of Tennessee.
We are excited to be going back next month!

This was a great sit with three cool cats! Communication was excellent. I met with Isabelle and Yoandy before the sit and received a thoughtful and thorough tour of the house, introduction to the cats and briefing about feeding, cleaning and medicines. They also left a thorough guide for me to reference if I forgot anything. They are great people!

The location is easy to get to, despite being far from Portland. A very short walk from the last stop on the Blue Line Max train, it is close to charming downtown Hillsboro. Within a 5 minute walk is Grand Central Bakery and a handful of good restaurants.

My favorite cat was Ghostfaced Killer - Ghosty. He didn't come out of hiding for a full day when I first arrived. I had to find him and say hi, but soon after I showed him that I was friendly and not a threat he came out of hiding and became my shadow. He is full of energy and acts like a little dog sometimes, following me around always wanting to be in the middle of whatever I was doing. Beba and Bella are sweet but not as engaging. After a couple weeks Beba started sitting with me and eventually learned to love sitting in my lap.

Beba did need regular (but very easy) administering of thyroid medicine. She had recently recovered from a UTI but not fully. She did pee in the kitchen and living room a few times. It was hard to tell if she was sending a message or just dealing with a bladder issue. I've seen this before with older cats but by the time you're reading this I'm sure she's received medical attention and hopefully it was successful in curing her ills.

To be safe, if you have a bag or jacket, keep them safely stowed, as there was an issue with her sleeping on one of my shirts on the couch. I though it was cute but I discovered later that she had pee'd on it.

Mostly, Beba and Bella like to chill near the fireplace and try to ignore Ghosty running around like crazy and trying to get them to chase him. Occasionally he was successful in getting them to play. He's a character!

We had a fabulous time from start to finish. Christine and Richard welcomed us into their beautiful home and had put together a comprehensive information pack for us. We soon got to meet all 5 cats who were super sweet, each with individual characters who we enjoyed getting to know over the week.
We had fun each day exploring the area as there was lots to do – though soon started looking forward to getting back to the house in the afternoon and being greeted by all 5 cats.
We had great weather so took advantage of sitting out in their stunning garden and watching the birds feed from the bird feeders as well as spending time with the cats who were never far away. We sent regular updates to Richard and Christine who were also available if we needed anything.
We enjoyed every minute. A wonderful sit xxx

This was our first sit and it couldn’t have gone better! Fiza’s home is absolutely beautiful, clean and located in a very walkable neighborhood. Fiza’s communication is great and she left very clear instructions. Lady and Billie are the sweetest girls. Billie is easygoing and Lady is a total cuddle bug. We would definitely recommend this sit!

We had an amazing time with cute Sofia in beautiful Placerville!
Patricia is so amazing and welcoming. She made us feel immediately at home in her beautiful house.
We had an amazing time with Sofia. She is so gentle and loving, a real sweetheart cat. We enjoyed spending time with her in the beautiful yard, and on the couch every evening.
She was so gentle and loving with our kids, and enjoyed their petting.
The house is very beautiful and comfy, located in a beautiful forest and there was a park with a playground and a creek right across the street, we loved going there with the kids. We really felt great being surrounded with so much nature all the time.
Placerville main street is awesome with great restaurants and shops, and is really beautiful!
Nearby there were great hikes with old gold mines we really enjoyed learning it's history and hiking around the beautiful forests, and even got to see some snow in the mountains.
We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to stay with Sofia in beautiful Placerville.

We highly recommend you stay with Patricia, given the chance!

Thank you very much!
