We would definitely recommend this sit for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and a wooded setting. The house is beautiful and soooo relaxing. We watched Caesar and Dexter. Sadly, Caesar is quite old and needed quite a bit of attention. He is a sweetheart, though. Dexter, the little one, was a delight to watch. He constantly wanted to be next to us but not in an obnoxious way that you find with some dogs. Both dogs were definitely good dogs. Cheryl and Jim were great to work with. When issues arose they were quickly responsive. They also left detailed instructions so we knew exactly what was expected. Overall, this was a great experience and we would recommend it, especially for those who might want to get out of the city atmosphere for a bit.
Loved the activity level of Leto - so much character! And neat! He followed instructions well :-) And the cats were entertained by it all, in between naps. Mika and Viola loved watching from the front windows. Within easy walking distance of Lake Merritt, plan to spend sunny afternoons watching the world go by. Meredith and Karl have created a cozy space that's a perfect home base for ventures with accessibility throughout the Bay.
Fay and Mid were gracious hosts and their home is light filled, cozy and well appointed. It’s a short walk from their home to the ferry and an easy commute to Boston. Hingham has lovely coffee shops, grocery stores and walks along the ocean. Clive and Martha are a delight to look after. They are easy going and love pats once they get to know you. I really enjoyed my stay.
Housesitting for Heloise, Nick, and Aidan is highly recommended - we met them earlier than the sit so they could give the key and show us the house, and they made us feel welcome immediately with their friendly warmth. The Welcome Guide created by Heloise was also very detailed which helped a lot in making the sit an easy and comfortable one. When we came to the house for the actual sit, they'd already left for their trip, but they left us a note with recommendations and reminders. Sweets, their cat, is also very low-maintenance! She's very shy though and startles easily... I guess that's what makes it even more rewarding when she starts to warm up to you! ❤ Location-wise... perfect. Right at the center of everything and very easy to go to the interesting areas of Singapore. I won't make this a long (longer?) review as I already left a very long note (LOL!) but thank you again, Heloise, Nick, and Aidan for welcoming us to your home and trusting us to care for Sweets. ❤
It was a pleasure to take care of Scout, he's very cuddly and easy going. Communicating with Emma before and during the stay was simple and I always got a quick answer. The flat is easy to access by public transport and very confortable, I would gladly sit there again.
I recently had the pleasure of house-sitting for Stephanie, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. Stephanie's home is not only comfortable and well-maintained but also exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly her wonderful pets. Her cats and bunnies are well-loved and very well-behaved, making the experience truly enjoyable. The cats are affectionate and playful, while the bunnies are just adorable and a joy to care for. It’s clear that Stephanie takes great care of her animals, as they are all happy, healthy, and well-adjusted. Stephanie provided clear and detailed instructions for their care, making it easy for me to ensure their well-being. She also made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. Overall, my time at Stephanie's home was fantastic. If you get the chance to house-sit for her, I highly recommend it. Her pets are wonderful, and her home is a lovely place to be.
