Jeff and Karen are the absolute best! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I feel extremely lucky that they were available to watch our dogs while we were away for 3 weeks! My pup Stevie is pretty timid and scared of new things/people, so I was extremely nervous to leave on a long trip (especially after things did not go as planned with my last sitter). Stevie warmed up to both of them right away and didn't seem to care at all when we left. They are such a sweet and attentive couple...I guess you can say they are animal whisperers in a way. They took both of our pups on daily walks, played with them, loved on them, and provided regular updates/ pictures. My house was cleaner than when I left and all the plants survived too :) I can't recommend them enough!
A fantastic experience caring for two sweet puppers in a lovely, peaceful location. Ayla and Jack were both fantastic hosts and very generous. Great with communication and always on hand to answer any questions. We would 100% sit for them again!
It was an absolute delight caring for Ruby and Rolo. Susan's lovely house is a short walk to the beach, where the pups had their morning walks along the beach path. Rolo is a happy boy and gives plenty of cuddles and tail-wags; while Ruby is a gorgeous little princess that stole my heart! These two Cavalier's are friendly, easy to walk, and an absolute joy. Needless to say, we enjoyed our time caring for Ruby and Rolo, in Susan's comfortable home, giving the family time to enjoy their holiday without having to worry about their pups. Thanks Susan!
Lonna and Evans are wonderful hosts, very friendly and communicative and their cat Scout is truly one of my favorite pets. She is so sweet and is just happy to be around people, purring away. Their house is very airy and light and the location is just stunning with incredible views over the Gig Harbor bay. This is a really wonderful pet/house sit and we would go back again in a heartbeat!
Count yourself quite lucky if you book this housesit. Jess and Cleo are an ideal pair for any housesitter! Jess is a lovely human who wants to ensure you have a peaceful stay in her home and that you enjoy the area. She'll offer theatre recs and things to do and was really great about making the space so welcoming, with a charming entry gift as well. Cleo’s a doll. She’s so beautiful, and it may take a moment, but she'll warm up to you. She has a bit of anxiety and simply needs you to be calm and consistent. We spent most of our days in the garden, thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Walthamstow is a nice area. I really liked it. Yoga studio (MoreYoga) close by, great tasting coffee at Gnome House, beautiful natural wetlands, and a quaint poetry/art/music cafe (Willow Street Arts Cafe) near as well.
