Chris was an amazing housesitter. Unlike most sits, which have little drama in them, this housesit presented challenges. The first day he was here, Tropical Storm Isaias came upon us, and not only were the dogs spooked, and neighbor's tree fell across the fence. Chris promptly took note of the resources at the house, and cut off access to the hole in the fence until the neighbor's contractor fixed the breach about ten days later. Later in the sit, one of my dogs began chewing his hip, leading to a biggish wound. Chris let me know what was happening, made sure Brother Bear got to the vet, and then insured all the meds he was given were appropriately dispensed to Brother. Through the entire sit, Chris communicated regularly and with good humor. Any time I had a question, his response was both prompt and thorough. He left the house neat and clean. I would WELCOME the opportunity to have Chris return, and I am confident that any home owner will be as pleased with him as I was--and as Shadrach and Brother Bear were.
