Bear sitting for Donna and Pete was one of my favourite sits because of many reasons. Bear became my best pal, we really clicked and got on, location location (best sunsets I have ever seen..they were both mind blowing and soul healing), 5 min bike ride to the beach for amazing meditation and battery recharge, beautiful and comfortable home with a lovely garden and plenty of colourful flowers. Donna and Pete are the kindest souls and we got on so well. They welcomed we with some lovely wine and left me a very warm welcoming card in my room. They both gave me great information about the town and area and tips for trips etc. Absolutely thankful to have met these two and I am happy we've stayed in touch. I'd Bear sit for you anytime again! I highly recommend Donna, Pete and Bear to anyone who'd like to Bear/house sit for them and spend some time in Worthing. Thank you for the amazing experience - your sit gave me more than you can imagine. xxx
Sweetie is a happy-go-lucky cat who enjoys being cuddled and is a master at scouting her home turf for cozy sleep spots. She can hide for hours but will then turn up when you least expect it. She was fun to play with. Toni’s home is well organized, and she keeps all of Sweeties’ supplies in one place so changing the litter and refilling her food and water each day was easy. The apartment is tastefully decorated with modern accents that reflect her New Zealand heritage. The location is easily accessible to public transportation, so if you don’t have a car you can get into D.C. in a snap. Overall, this was a very pleasant house sit, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the Washington metro area.
I had a splendid time looking after the two cats. They were very sweet and easy to look after. I would definitely like to look after them again 😊
Our first experience was nothing short of magical, thanks to the incredible Eva, who quickly became our "godmother". Her warmth, clear instructions, and regular check-ins gave us complete peace of mind while we looked after Ewok and Mila. These two adorable puppies stole our hearts from the moment we met them! Their intelligence and playful personalities made them a joy to care for. We loved taking them for long walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, and snuggling up for movie nights. The house is comfortable and we had our own bedroom, the location is perfect and you can find stores and supermarkets within 15 minutes of the house. It's impossible to imagine a better experience, thanks to Eva's genuine kindness, her professional yet friendly approach, and her love for her furry companions. We can't wait to see everyone again soon!
We enjoyed our sit with lovely Teddy; he is such a sweet boy. Teddy loves lots of cuddles and enjoys spending time with his human friends. Rani's home is very comfortable and set in a beautiful village, which we enjoyed exploring on foot. When we arrived we took Teddy out for a walk and followed his directions; he took us to one of the pubs in the next village so we stopped for some lunch and Teddy enjoyed some doggy treats from the bar. We are looking forward to seeing Teddy again very soon 😀.
Tom's house is in a great location in central Cambridge, with easy access to the city centre and to green spaces for walks by the river. The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen was well equipped, so we could easily prepare some meals there (although of course there are lots of options to eat out nearby - we had a great meal at Sticks'n'Sushi which Tom had recommended to us). Tom provided lots of detail before the sit about the house and Lola's routine, and was quick to reply when we had a few questions during our stay. Lola is a nice natured and bright dog who will bring a toy to you to show you she wants to play, or go to the back door to show you she needs to go out. She is very energetic too. Tom had flagged this in the detail provided before we committed to the pet sit, but we perhaps hadn't fully appreciated quite how strong she is. We found she pulled a lot on the lead, and due to her size and strength needed a firm hand to control - she was definitely taking us for a walk. However she was good at sitting alongside us while we had a coffee outside a cafe, and most of the time would wait well for crossing roads, etc. We enjoyed our time in Cambridge and getting to know Lola.
