Cat Sitters in San Isidro

This was our first time using a house sitter and Patricia’s first time sitting so there was a little apprehension on both sides!! Patricia came a day early to familiarise herself with our home and pets. She was very flexible and accommodating and accompanied us on our regular dog walk so that she could quickly pick up the reins!! The sit went very smoothly. Patricia fitted in well with our dog Lucy and our two cats Binx and Willow. We checked in with Patricia several times whilst we were away to make sure she was ok and she responded quickly giving us the reassurance we needed that all was fine! I would highly recommend Patricia!

Ximena was kind to our pup and left our home in great shape. She was communicative and generously coordinated her travel plans to coincide with our so we could meet her before heading out. She even brought us a sweet treat from her home country. Highly recommend!

Esteban has a pleasant demeanor set a positive tone for our interactions. His respectful nature was evident in the way he treated our home plants and pets, and the care he took to maintain its cleanliness. His responsibilities included caring to two cats, an aquarium an many many hours plants. The cats took to him immediately as he came through the door. It was clear that he has a natural affinity for animals. One of the cats is very old and needed daily medication. From her condition when I returned it is clear she got her pills regularly. Our home is filled with a variety of house plants, each with its own specific care requirements. We left a very detailed and somewhat complicated watering schedule. He managed to tend to each one, ensuring they received the right amount of watering and did not sit in water. I returned home to find them thriving, a testament to his diligence. In conclusion, his responsible nature, respect for my home, and ability to care for our pets and plants made him an excellent house sitter. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable and respectful house sitter. With Regard, Eli

We were very happy with Tash and Ricki as our house and pet sitters. Our dog Ivy clearly adored them and seemed to enjoy the extra attention and exercise they provided. It was wonderful to know she was so well cared for during our time away. Tash and Ricki took Ivy on multiple hikes and gave her lots of attention. They were very self-sufficient during the sit and updated us regularly. Communication was great before, during and after the sit. They were so kind cooking for us on the evening before we left for our trip, and again upon our return, and before our return asked us what they can shop for us so we have enough food for our return. Ricki even picked us up from the airport, saving us time and energy after a long trip. While there were a couple of minor issues when it came to the garden, these might simply be a difference in expectations or habits. Overall, Tash and Ricki did a great job, and we would recommend them for their excellent care of our pet.

Our cat and home were well cared for by Juan and Maylen. They were both very kind and easy to communicate with. Great house sitters!

Fran was absolutely our best house/dog sitter yet! He is wonderfully caring, considerate and respectful. Archie and Audrey felt safe and happy with him. Fran took them out for walks every day and even hired a car so he could take them further afield, which they loved. We felt so relaxed while away that the dogs and the house were in good hands. We are so grateful to Fran for going above and beyond. Thank you. Archie and Audrey are already missing you.

What a wonderful couple! They took great care of my two cats while we were away. I loved the daily video updates so much and could see how much the cats loved them 🥰 it gave me such a peace of mind! Also they left the flat clean and tidy and even put on the laundry already. They even managed to brush the cats teeth which is not easy :) I highly recommend them to you!

Five stars! Sara went above and beyond to take care of my cat and my home. We agreed to connect a night prior to her scheduled stay and I immediately learned that she was kind, self-sufficient, tidy and easy to connect with. Sara and I even got to enjoy a fabulous night of music at a local theater, exposing me to an artist I had never heard of 🇧🇷. What a great time! To add, when I needed to stay away a few extra days, she was very flexible and we were able to negotiate a time that worked for both of us. When I got home, everything was exactly how I had left it. Thank you Sara! I hope Sara wants to sit (or visit) us again!

Fantastic. Highly recommend to others. Was all about our pets and were the priority the whole time. Especially our anxious Frank who was fine the whole week. Look forward to hopefully having them back again!

Candela and Franco did an awesome job as pet and house sitter. Our Pets (especially Rosie and Moussa) loved them. When we came back, we saw happy and relaxed, chilled pets in our house that was cared for, clean, and ALL our INDOOR and OUTDOOR plants watered. We could not have asked for a better couple to housesit our home and we highly recommend them!! You all are awesome!!

This was the first disappointing experience that I've had with a pet sitter from this site. First, they didn't sleep in the room with my dogs which I had included in my instructions which I sent them weeks before they were to pet sit. Javier said that this was because he has a sinus problem that's exacerbated by dust or dog hair. Why wouldn't they say that this would be a problem before accepting the pet sit? They also said that sometimes the dogs woke them up. Occasionally, dogs are going to hear something outside and bark or use the dog door to go outside. This is normal for anyone who has ever had dogs. It's not like they do this all the time so I thought this was a sign that these people really are not pet lovers. It's possible that they were super sensitive because Natalia is pregnant. But again, if this was an issue, they should have let me know in advance so that I could select other pet sitters. I know that my dogs were stressed as they chewed up the edge of a sofa cover and blanket. They have never done this before. I asked Javier if the dogs scratched at the door to let them into their bedroom at night and he said that they never did this. That is really strange as my dogs always want to be in the room with their human companions. The other big problem was that one of my dogs needs eye drops twice a day. I showed them how to do it. I have never had any other pet sitter have difficulty with this as my dog is used to it and is very good about it. About 8 days into my trip, Javier tells me that about 1 1/2 days after I left, my dog started avoiding the procedure and that she almost bit him. He said that he didn't want to notify me earlier and interrupt my trekking. Well I would much rather know right away than have my dog's eyes get bad. Any pet owner feels this way so I thought that was a bad choice to delay notifying me. I explained that he should get her to trust him and gave him some suggestions like sit on the couch with her and give them all treats. Anyone who's experienced with dogs knows this. He said that he personally would prepare her food. I guess that means that Natalia was feeding the dogs which would have made them very easily trust her. It's like Javier doesn't understand dogs. There were some other irritating things like them wanting to change the schedule and arrive AFTER I leave for the airport. Of course, my dogs are going to bark at them and not be comfortable with them letting themselves into the house unless they arrive while I'm there. Javier also accidentally took my phone charger. It cost me about $10 to replace it which is not a big deal but it was just another annoying thing to deal with when you return from a trip. Overall, it seems that they believe feeding your animals and maybe taking them for a walk now and then is enough to be considered a good pet sitter. On the upside, Javier did try to cook them some rice and pumpkin to add to the dry food on the last day before I returned because the home made food ran out that day. But this was a small plus offset by a lot of minuses.
