Dog Sitters in Sancton

As always John and Chas have been first class. The dogs are not worried if we don't come home!! We will really look forward to welcoming them again in the near future.

Sue was the perfect house sitter. She used her time here to explore the area and took my dogs Darcy and Lottie with her in her car. They went somewhere different every day walking, and Darcy had plenty of opportunities to swim. Sue sent photos and videos of their adventures and it was clear that the dogs were having a brilliant time. It was immediately apparent that my dogs were confident and very happy in her care, and I'm in no doubt that they would love to see her again. Sue's visit coincided with a few days of warm, dry weather so she ensured the plants in pots in the garden were watered. The house was clean and tidy on my return. Sue had stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding, towels and tea towels. There was nothing for me to do but enjoy the flowers she had left around the house and sample the delicious jam she made while here. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue at my home and she will be welcomed back by us all if she ever wishes to come back.

This was Roisin and Mal’s second sit for us and it was lovely to see them both and catch up with their news. It was great to know that, as we left, our house and pet were in good hands. Their love for Roscoe is obvious and we left confident that he would have a wonderful time with them. Once again they kept us up to date with messages and videos and it was clear that Roscoe was being well cared for.

Thank you both so much, for looking after everything so well. Made our trip worry free, and to return with everything as we left. Thanks again

Rebecca took anazing care of our two dogs while we were away. She took them on excursions (with some adorable clips of the dogs enjoying pup cups!) and they were spoiled rotten. She was fantastic to deal with, and was very respectful of our home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rebecca to others, and we'd love to have her back to house sit for us in the future!

Angela and Peter were fantastic house sitters! When arranging the sit, they kindly agreed to arrive the day before we left, so that we could show them Duke & Charlie's routine and some of their favourite walks. This proved incredibly valuable as Duke had to have an operation in the week before they arrived and so there were a few extra responsibilities for Angela and Peter to take on, such as administering pain killers and managing his buster collar and length of walks. We called them before to explain the situation, but they immediately put our minds at rest by assuring us they would love to help him in his recovery (as well as caring for Charlie of course)! The day we spent with Angela and Peter provided us with further reassurance they were going to be great sitters and take excellent care of the boys. During our time away, Angela and Peter provided regular daily updates and photos / videos (including photos of Duke's operation scars for us to forward to our vets), and it was clear that Duke was recovering well and Charlie was simply having a great time!! We returned to a spotlessly clean house, they had washed their bedding and kindly cut the lawn! We cannot recommend Angela and Peter highly enough and would welcome them back to our home at any time. We have just been away for a week, leaving James to look after 2 dogs, 2cats and a horse. He arrived spot on the time expected and the dogs immediately took to him, as did we. It was so easy telling him what needed to be done and when we were away he kept us updated with lovely photos. The animals obviously loved him and when we got home it was as if no-one had been here, just as we'd left it and we hope he'll come again .

Owen was great! Super caring and thoughtful- he sent us pictures of the bunnies at least once a day with updates, you can tell he really cared! He even watered our plants which I had forgotten to ask him to do! He's welcome back in DC anytime, I can't recommend him enough!

It was a delight having Kay pet and garden sit for me. She came the night before so we had time to get acquainted and to show her my routines which was really helpful. My dog Jinks got on with her straight away, even sitting on her lap when mine was available (quite unusual ). Whilst I was away, not only did she look after Jinks well, keeping me informed about how things were going, but planted out some of my vegetable seedlings that I hadn’t managed to do before I left! Several of my neighbours have commented about how relaxed and contented Jinks seemed when they met them out on walks in the village. I would happily have Kay come again any time!

Maddie was really lovely to deal with and a very genuine character. We had some challenges during the sit and she dealt with them all very proficiently. The animals loved her and she is welcome back any time, should her travels allow it! Thanks Maddie
