Our stay at the Watkins' stunning home was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease in their beautiful space. We were especially delighted to care for their two wonderful dogs, Charlie and Clifford. Charlie, who is a bit older, initially took a few days to warm up to us. However, once he did, his affectionate and gentle nature truly shone through. Despite his age and tendency to tire quickly, he had such a loving spirit and thoroughly enjoyed his naps. It was heartwarming to see him relax and feel comfortable with us. Clifford, on the other hand, is a vibrant young pup with an abundance of energy. He is incredibly well-trained and had an endearing habit of wanting to be close to us at all times. His favorite pastime was chasing after a ball, and we happily indulged him several times a day. We kept our play sessions short to ensure he didn’t overheat in the summer weather, but seeing his joy and enthusiasm was always a highlight of our day. The house itself was a dream. Its modern design and low-maintenance features, such as the auto mower outside and robot vacuums inside, made our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. Each bedroom, complete with its own bathroom, was a personal haven of relaxation, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen was a chef’s delight, equipped with every appliance and tool you could possibly need, making meal preparation a pleasure. Dave and Michelle were absolutely wonderful hosts. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel like part of their family. Communication was always prompt and clear, which made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. If we ever have the chance, we would be thrilled to housesit here again without hesitation. The town of Tyler was charming, and the people we met were incredibly kind and welcoming. This entire experience has been truly unforgettable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it.
