Cat Sitters in Sandia Heights, NM

One of the great things about zeewoi is it presents an opportunity to meet someone as wonderful as Lucia. Lucia watched Chispa, Tigger, and our home for 8 weeks, and I'm pretty sure she's a cat-whisperer. They followed her everywhere and ended up in her lap several times each day. Our cats are used to, and seek, physical affection, and Lucia most definitely provided that. They even trusted her enough to let her trim their claws (and that's saying something). Lucia sent photo updates regularly, which was a comfort, and also showed photo evidence of the bond they formed during her stay. We loved having Lucia watch our cats and, in fact, have already booked her on TH for two months next year! In addition to the excellent care our cats received, our home was equally well taken care of, and was spotless when we arrived home. A little while before the sit, we also had the pleasure of meeting and spending an evening with Lucia at our home, and I'll just say she's just as good with humans as she is with cats! She is a very good communicator, and easy and fun to be with, too. Lucia has her own vehicle, so is independent, travel-wise. In short, don't hesitate to have Lucia watch your pets and house--as long as it's not for our dates!! Jeff and Linda

This is a completely honest review. I heard that TH reviews are often "dressed up" on both sides. This is not, and I hope that it will be helpful. Debby and Mark were the greatest dog and house sitters I can imagine. For three weeks - and three weeks can be a very long time to sit for someone - they took care of our two (very strange) dogs and our home. They managed things when the water heater failed unexpectedly, requiring them to shower at the guest house and to do without hot water at the main house. Two plumbing emergencies, with the latter requiring a wait until our scheduled return. Not an inconvenience they signed up for.... They sent photos to us almost daily of our two puppy-mill rescues, and took the extra time and effort to coax the dogs into interacting with them. The older dog - 10 years - recently had abdominal surgery for having ingested a rock; they took her to the vet to have her sutures removed (as this couldn't happen until two days into our absence). Before our return, they washed these (sweet but squirrly) pups. Most of all, it's obvious that the dogs were treated lovingly, as per their easy adaptation to having us home. Debby and Mark did the laundry and dishes, and cleaned off their cabinet shelves and fridge shelves/drawers before our return. In fact, they cleaned everything so well that I can't tell they were here. Did they bring their own hand soap? Ours is still full. I prepped supplies and the house for them - but can't tell that anything was used. I am so incredibly grateful to Debby and Mark. I hope they get wonderful invitations to fabulous destinations. We were happy with the care that Anna gave our fur babies and our home. She communicated well, sending photos and giving us updates as needed. It’s always so nice to come home to a clean space and to know that the kitties had good company.

Our experience with Celeste as our dog/housesitter was great! She was incredibly self-sufficient and communication was clear and easy. We would love to have her sit for us again in the future and highly recommend!

Nikki was very easy to work. Excellent communicator and came home to very content kitties!

Janet is fantastic!! She sent regular (almost daily) pictures and feedback on how things were going. I could tell she really was devoted to my ‘girls’ Emmy and Kiki. Emmy can be a bit ‘standoffish’ to new people but I could tell Janet took her time and they ended up being great buddies. Kiki was equally loved and both seemed so healthy and happy when I got home. Also my house was immaculate! All around I couldn’t have had a better person. I look forward to her staying with my girls again.

Susan was terrific with my dog Niles and she left the place super neat and clean. She communicated daily (as requested) with pics of Niles, and got along well with neighbors. I would book her again in an instant. A lovely person to boot!

Matthew was the most wonderful house and pet sitter. He was flexible and diligent; friendly and easy going; and was warm and kind to the animals. He left the apartment clean and tidy and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Deborah & Chris were excellent home and pet sitters and we would highly recommend them! Communication was clear and honest and they were willing to take on a few challenges during their sit for us. We added 3 llamas to their experience, one of which had a cast on his leg. They sent us videos of all three boys so we could assess if there was anything of concern. A video is worth a thousand words! Chris & Deborah left the house very tidy and all of my plants in the garden were well taken care of. We would highly recommend Deborah and Chris especially if you need a responsible and sensible Team! We hope to see them more in the future! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to RELAX knowing everything would be okay in our absence!

Janifer was a great pet/house sitter! Animals were happy and healthy when we arrived home and the house looked great. She even watered flowers for me! She communicated and sent pictures to let me know everything was ok. I would definitely have her pet/house sit again.

Elizabeth was a dreamboat of a house sitter. Competent, conscientious, warm and cosy with the dog, responsive, always willing to help out if something tricky came up. We live in a community where people walk by, stop and chat, so everyone got to know her and her dear dog Mimi. Elizabeth even made a pot of soup for my 90-year old mother who lives nearby. We've since become great friends and plan to look after HER dog when she needs us to. Trust me: Elizabeth is a rare gem.
