Emma
Beautiful countryside location. Our son loved watching the sheep in the neighbouring field. Ninky is so loveable, and cannot get enough belly rubs... in fact she would come to me for a belly rub and when I stopped she would just go and position herself at my partners feet rubbing her belly against them... too cute. The chickens were great too, Zach loved feeding them and checking for eggs plus they made a delicious breakfast (the eggs- not the chickens lol)- such a nice treat. Thank you Emma, Chaz and James for letting us look after your pets and home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Old Rectory looking after Juno, and brother and sister tabby cats, Port and Starboard.
Before Giles, Natalie and their boys set off off on their holiday they made sure we had everything we needed for a really comfy stay at their beautiful and spacious home.
Juno is such a sweet and well mannered gentle soul. She really relished human company so we never left her alone, which was no problem at all as she travelled so well in the car and there is so much to see in the surrounding area, with fabulous beaches nearby as well as National Trust properties and the Broads very close by too. We went into cafes with Juno and even into Norwich city - she was a dream. Be prepared for lots of compliments when out and about with Juno as she wins everyone's' hearts ♥️
There is a huge garden and Oakwood so plenty of space for Juno to go out for a good run and play - before even venturing for a walk, and in the evening loved a cuddle on the sofa and stretching out in front of the log fire.
Port and starboard are brother and sister tabby cats, looking almost identical but very different characters although both so delightful to look after. Port loved to attach himself to our laps when ever we sat on the sofa and was determined to make sure we stayed put, whereas his sister Starboard, was usually finding a secret place to go off and have a long snooze and then showed up in the evening for her bedtime meal.
We'd recommend having a car as the countryside is so beautiful and so much to see.
All in all it felt like a real privilege to have the opportunity to stay at Giles and Natalie's home and we'd love to do it again. If you get to housesit for Giles and Natalie, we promise you won't regret it.
Thanks both of you, so much xx

Had a wonderful time sitting for these owners with their lovely dogs and their cat. A very beautiful home and grounds and also feeding the horses hay was as easy as pie as the horses groomer came in every day to do the hardwork!
Their lurcher is a very fast running breed of dog but very docile and a pleasure to walk each day
It was a long sit at 6 weeks and the july weather being hot and sunny meant we could eat outside on the sun terrace area or on the wooden decking on the large lawn.
Would throughly recommend!

I had a very enjoyable 3 week stay with Ginger. As I expected she was not into laps, but she is very affectionate. She was often rubbing against me and purring. She loved neck massages.
Lea and George are kind and generous hosts. Their home is spacious and comfortable. Ginger and I particularly enjoyed the afternoon sun on the deck.
The Linley Valley trail is less than a block from the house. One can hike for hours and easily forget that the park is surrounded by the city.
I highly recommend house sitting for Lea and George, and I would be happy to return some day.

We had a delightful time looking after Audrey in Hemishofen, near Stein am Rhein.
Claudia and Sam's beautiful and comfortable timbered house is located directly on the Rhine, the largest river in Switzerland. There are the most beautiful walks in the immediate area, all of which can be reached on foot. The neighbours are all very friendly and welcoming.
Andrey, the well trained Labrador was no trouble at all and rapidly stole our hearts. She is a fantastic and lovable two-year-old who enjoys long walks by the river and in the forests, fetching (huge!) sticks and playing with her toys.
Claudia and Sam are very kind, warm and communicative. Their instructions are straightforward.
We couldn't be more thankful for such a beautiful stay and would definitely (and hopefully) sit for Audrey again 🤩

Elizabeth
We recently had the pleasure of house and pet sitting for Elizabeth and her lovely dog, Rafi. From the start, Elizabeth was very welcoming and provided clear instructions about the care of Rafi and her house.

Rafi is a delightful dog who enjoys his daily walks and is very affectionate. It was amazing walking him in such a picturesque landscape, overlooking the river and the beautiful surroundings, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Elizabeth's home is comfortable, very bright, and well-maintained, with a beautiful garden and stunning views. She made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and even printed out some maps of the surrounding trails for us, which was incredibly kind and helpful. Her communication was excellent throughout the process.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we are more than happy to sit again for Elizabeth and Rafi.
