Dog Sitters in Sandiacre

Karen and Andy were the perfect Housesitters. They were punctual, reliable, friendly and excellent communicators. We went on holiday feeling assured that we had left our house, garden and Labrador, Harry, in very safe hands. We came home to a happy dog, clean and tidy home and a well cared-for garden. We would thoroughly recommend Karen and Andy and delighted that they made our first experience of Housesitters such a relaxing one.

Mel and Darren were fantastic sitters. They looked after our pets very well and we had lots of updates and photos. Our house was spotless when we came back with a lovely card,chocolates and even milk! We would love them to sit for us again and would highly recommend.

Glynis looked after our home and garden for us while we were away. Everything perfectly cared for in our absence! We'd have no hesitation in recommending Glynis as a sitter. This time she just took care of our home and tended the garden, but previously she looked after our dog very well too.

Julie and Shirley were absolutely fantastic. I wish I had been able to spend more time with them! Julie was very easy to communicate with and responded to any questions very quickly. They looked after Crusty the cat impeccably - Crusty looked SO well on our return and I know they spent a lot of time with him. They left the house spotless, nothing was out of place and everything was clean and just as I had left it. It was a joy knowing they were in our house and I felt very reassured having them there. I would highly recommend them and would definitely like them to come back one day. Thank you SO much.

Katalin is so warm and friendly and Bess clearly loves her. Katalin took Bess on many day trips and they had a lovely time together. We have had Katalin house-sit before and were so pleased that we knew we wanted her to do it again- two weeks this time. We returned to an immaculate house (I am very fussy), well-watered garden (it had been very warm), and -most important- a very happy dog!

Caroline is lovely and actually a family friend of someone I know. We met before she came to stay and our dogs and home were well cared for. Helped us out massively by laundering our bed sheets for us to fall into bed on our return!

Teresa and Mark were just great! They travelled down the day before we left as we were going early and spent time with us and the animals before we set off, so we felt happy very leaving everything in their hands. We had regular updates from Teresa while we were away, and they coped very well with everything, even a storm with gale force winds, and one of the dogs needing to start on new medication while we weren’t there. We returned home to a lovely tidy house, happy animals and a delicious home cooked meal - such a treat! Were already looking forward to seeing Teresa and Mark again in October :)

Ellie and Tom were first time zeewoi so we rather took a chance with them. However, we had a video call with them a couple of weeks before they were due to stay and felt comfortable that they would be fine. They arrived for their sit the afternoon before we left (a 4am start!) so we got to know them a little better and had dinner together. Our faith in them was justified as we came home from our three nights away to a clean and tidy home and two very happy dogs and two contented cats. I would recommend Ellie and Tom as trustworthy and competent house and pet sitters.

Jenny took good care of our house and two cats. We came back to a clean home and the cats were pleased to see us! This was our first sit, so we were incredibly nervous, and some updates would have been appreciated, but we know to ask for this more clearly next time. Thank you, Jenny, for taking good care of our home!

Alissa and Russell are the most super couple! They are warm, friendly and humorous - I'm pretty sure that the dogs and cats are sulking that we have returned home! Alissa and Russell are very relaxed and self-sufficient, so having them around is an absolute pleasure - they are equally happy having a cup of tea and a chat as they are making themselves scarce during the chaos of getting out of the house to go on holiday. Our pets were so well looked after (spoiled rotten) and the house was absolutely spotless on our return, including their bedding being washed, which was deeply appreciated; we were also delighted that they enjoyed our home and our fresh fruit and veg - particularly the tomatoes! We would be thrilled if Alissa and Russell would sit for us again and we have made them promise to drop by if they are ever passing.

Diane and Dave, and Rafa, visited us a couple of months ago. This was great as we were all confident that Rafa and our dogs would get on during the sit. I didn’t have to worry at all as they were amazing house/dog sitters. Everything ran smoothly and the whippets immediately took to them and Diane and Dave were great with them. They sent us some lovely photos including a video of Rafa and Feather playing. The house was spotless and bedding laundered. As the weather wasn’t very good this wasn’t that easy with three dogs. We really hope that they will come again. Hopefully with better weather. Feather, in particular, is missing Rafa!

Tom and Linda arrived after we had left which we were a bit worried about as Lochy can be reactive with new people coming into the house but they kept us updated and got on fine with him which was a relief. They were great at communicating and sent us regular updates over the weekend. Lochy seemed really happy when we got home so he had clearly had a nice time. The house was left nice and tidy and they even washed the sheets for us which was very kind.
