We had a wonderful week with the dogs Bruno and Chica in Kristina and Roderick's delightful house in the pretty Cotswold village of Eastleach. Bruno is the 'elderly statesman', who while being deaf and blind, somehow always found us after a few minutes whether in the house or garden. He still enjoys good walks and responds immediately to the slightest nudges with the lead to help him avoid obstacles. Chica is a bundle of energy and tireless walker. She 'manages' Bruno lovingly, (telling him it is time to get up or to join for a walk), and loves cuddling up with him in the evening and at night. Setting off from the house, there are lovely walks in all directions through both open and wooded undulating landscapes and along the river Leach. There is a characterful village pub just a couple of minutes from the house and other pretty villages nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed being with Bruno and Chica and our stay at this lovely location and hope to sit again for Roderick and Kristina!
We had a wonderful stay at Nicci’s home ! We arrived one day before her departure, so Nicci showed us everyting we needed to know about her horses, dog, cat and chickens and we felt really at ease very quickly. Her advice was important and she explained us all the perfect actions carefully and with demonstrations. The house is located in the countryside, away from all city noise. It is very pleasant and calm. Her home is really comfortable to live in and is fully equipped. We could work from there, wifi is fully functional and there’s a room upstairs that can be used as office with a wonderful view on the outside. Nicci allowed our little dog to be with us during the stay at her place and he get on really well with everybody. Thank you Nicci for your trust and letting us take care of your sweet family 😊
