So Grateful for Tazito’s and everyone there! Our boy Draco absolutely LOVES it here, idk what their secret is but as soon as he realizes where we are he runs out the car and bolts up their stairs! Their schedule is so convenient, they are always reliable, and we’ve used them for boarding too! It’s like having a family member that you trust to watch your pup! We get pictures of our boy playing outside with his friends and it just makes us so happy to see how much fun he’s having. I recommend Tazito’s to everyone I meet with a dog! We love them!
Tazito’s is a godsend! I know this starts off like my last review almost 2 years ago, but hear me out: So? It’s the truth. Ruthie and Luke are incredible, loving people who treat my dog Monkey like family. I’m never worried when I leave Monkey with them, and they even send updates and photos of my princess having a wonderful time. These updates soothe my anxious soul, as any extended time away from my pup tears my heart in two. Thank you Tazito’s Dog Daycare and Boarding. Oh, and with the introduction of their app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store) making a reservation and updating your pup’s records is quick and easy. Check them out and download the app!
My 5 dogs spent two days and nights at Tazitos and couldn’t be more pleased. They were happy and excited to be picked up, which tells me they had a great time. Owner runs the business out of their house and provided daily photos of my pups adventures. I felt good knowing they were happy and being well cared for. Located in a residential area of town. Good communication, good rates.
We’ve been bringing our dog Lula for about a month now for daycare and she absolutely loves it! I work from home and Lula is a little ball of energy and I wanted her to have a place to hang out and run around as a dog should. My husband and I also work late and we couldn’t find anywhere that was open past 6 pm. Tazito’s checked all of our boxes and more!! Ruth and Luke are amazing with Lula and they are so kind and flexible. They also send us pic updates that we love getting while at work. Lula is tired and happy every time she comes home from daycare and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a place to send your fur baby then this is it!
I want to say how wonderful it has been to have a doggy daycare that loves my rose as much as I do. I have always felt safe while my dog has been under their care. Rose would try to get into my car on my days off saying Ok I went potty, so now take me to daycare to play with my friends. Rose also found her a boyfriend. I travel for work and have left buffalo and now I’m in Boston. I really miss the trust I had in Tazito’s. I can only hope I find someone equally as great as Tazito’s was to my rose. Oh gage I’m sorry I moved rose away from you. Know that you will always have a special place in roses heart. So if you need a great trustworthy place for your dog to play, meet other dogs, possibly fall in love and love you dearly for giving them an amazing day every time you drop them off Tazito’s is your place. Enjoy my favorite pic sent to me of rose and gage giving each other nose kisses.
We came from out of town and needed a doggy day camp last minute, and found you guys on google And I am SO HAPPY we did. Our dog had the best time and they kept us updated with pictures. I highly highly recommended them. If we lived closer I would continue to bring my pup there! Thank you so much for taking great care of Winnie!!
My pup Bernstein is a ball of energy that needs lots of socializing. We've been taking him to Ruth, Luke and family for the past 9 months for daycare and boarding. They are extremely flexible and send pics and videos. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful experience in general, very responsive to text questions. The website/app is a great feature but needs a bit more work. Lastly, a live cam would be an awesome feature to check on your pet, but not a deal break because pics were sent quickly to me when I asked about my dog via text. Would definitely use their services again
Tazito’s treated my Ellie like family. She was always eager to stay there. Ruth and Luke took great care of her and provided great updates and photos of her multiple stays. The new app also makes it convenient to schedule boarding.
During our time in Buffalo, our Shepherd/Pyrenees mix Ellie went to daycare and was boarded at Tazito’s more times than we can count. From the meet-and-greet with Ruth and Goliath, to the numerous drop-offs with Luke - the care Tazito’s provided for Ellie was phenomenal. They were always understanding when we needed last minute daycare/boarding/or schedule changed. Such flexibility and ease of communication are only a small part of why we loved utilizing their services. The business is in a house - so I loved knowing Ellie was around her peers in a cozy and safe space. Pictures and updates were always sent throughout any of her stays. If we ever find ourselves in Buffalo and need their services again we will surely do so! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much, Tazito’s!
Laura’s Critter Care is a great company to trust with your pets. I have two Shiloh Shepherds that I wanted to get used to a pet sitter and Laura sent me a sitter with shepherd experience and my dogs love her. This is a very trustworthy pet care company where you will have piece of mind knowing your pets are being well loved and cared for.
Phenomenal service! This is our second time using Laura's and it has been fantastic each time. Rachel had gone above and beyond for our two dogs and cat while we were away. Each time Rachel has done an amazing job for our animals. She is the one to ask for if you need a caring and attentive person to take care of your pets and be worry free while away!
I have been using Laura’s Critter care for over five years now. I always know my babies are well cared for while I’m away. I love the quick communication from the staff, and the sweet pictures of my kitties and senior dog. Dana is my main sitter, and I feel like she really loves my pets like family. All of the other sitters that fill in when she is unavailable are equally as efficient and loving. Thank you guys for all that you do for me and my babies!
Laura’s Critter Care did a fantastic job looking after my 3 year old Cockapoo while I was away to attend to a medical issue. They even took my dog to his doctor and back for laser treatment. They were completely professional and responsible during thus time. One lady waited till 11 PM to see him safely in bed before she left. I am so very grateful that they were there and I will definitely use them for any situation that takes me away. I recommend them without reservation. Lee Amherst NY.
I recently started having Laura's Critter Care take care of my fur babies while I'm at work. The sitter comes for 45 minutes a couple days a week. Our sitter sends me pictures of my babies with every visit and all I see is happy smiles. I highly recommend using their service. I know my babies are fed, lots of hugs and pets.
We have used Laura's Critter Care for several years. They go beyond taking care of our pets when we are away. They give them love & attention, play with them and talk to them. I highly recommend using them for any length of time. We have used their service when we are away for a few days, and when we are away for 3 months. We can enjoy our vacation and not have to worry about how things are going at home
One of my cats is diabetic and requires insulin shots twice a day, 12 hours apart, one of which is very early in the morning. When I’ve needed a weekend away, Laura’s Critter Care has been great with working me into their schedule. They also allow for “meet and greets” where I’m able to go over administering the shot with the sitters. I’m always kept in the loop on how the visits have gone and I always feel like my cats are in good hands.
Laura’s critter care exceeded my expectations, what a wonderful company. My family and I were able to fully enjoy our vacation without worrying about our kitties one. My kids were so excited to see pictures of the kitties daily. They were so well cared for and it was nice to have someone at our house while away. Melissa and Laura are so fantastic to work with, they gave us great peace of mind.
We’ve used Laura’s Critter Care a few times now, and it’s gone great each time. The first time we were in a pinch, and Carrie came through and loved and cared for our dog from our first meeting. Each time she’s watched our dog, the care and communication has been outstanding. Can’t recommend them enough, especially Carrie!
We have been really happy with the services received from Laura's Critter Care, our dog loves getting his walks and I always appreciate the excellent communication. We also just had a sitter sleep over while we were out of town and we felt confident that any packages would be brought inside, garbage cans etc. and that our pooch was well taken care of. Highly recommend!
We are so grateful and happy to have found Amy to take care of our little Jet! She is so welcoming, so sweet and so great with dogs! She will send you pictures throughout the day and she even gives you a cute report at the end of the day. Thank you Amy! Jetty can't wait to come back and play with Meeko!
We needed accommodations for our Billy (6 month old feline) and we were fortunate enough to hear about Amy. Amy was kind enough to take in our little guy and treated him like he was her own. Just full of love and entertainment. Amy sent us photos of Billy and activities every day. We actually started looking forward to her photos over the vacation we were enjoying. In any case, we can not say enough of how happy we are and glad that Amy has this service. Our Billy actually came home a sweeter cat. Thank you Amy …
Don't know where to start! Amy and her family take exceptional care of our fur baby. Cannot over state how good it is to have our dog so well cared for that she is always happy to go back ! She loves to be at Amy's so much !
Top notch and the best sitter in Buffalo!! Amy took great care of my mischievous pup Posie. I loved getting the daily photos and updates on her behavior. She was also super responsive when I needed to add extra days due to travel delays. I had such peace of mind knowing I can rely on Amy she is absolutely the best in this business, has amazing quality of service and is extremely communicative and most importantly my puppy was so happy there and made many new friends.
Wonderful experience that took the stress out of traveling and leaving our 13 yr old dog behind. Amy is kind and clearly an animal lover. It was very positive experience for us and Max.
Greyson has had the pleasure of staying twice, a short and long visit. He loved it Amy kept me posted with texts and pictures. Greyson loved it he even seemed sad to leave his new friends. I will definitely be booking again.
My name is Rachel. I live off my disability. I don’t have a “Life”, therefore I do not get to go anywhere much at all. A bus ride on the metro is a treat to me. I don’t own a vehicle. Im one of those people who don’t catch breaks in life. I was asked by an out of town friend if I would house sit and dog sit for them while they were away and I had nobody who would watch my two cats. My sister would usually watch the cats but we had a big falling out and haven’t spoken to each other in five months. Her choice, not mine. therefore she left me in a bind. Of all the people in my cell phone, I had no one who would watch my cats even when I offered to pay them $100. I almost had to cancel the trip. The person had already paid for my plane ticket. I searched the internet and I found Amy!!! I never met her. I didn’t have the needed documents for the cats that she required because I have never had to look for a kennel before and she was professional and friendly and she worked with me and she didn’t even know me. Her home is beautiful and comfy. The neighborhood is gorgeous! Everyday for the week I was gone, she sent me photos and updates of both my pets. She was respectful and very professional. She went above and beyond and was patient with me as I canceled my plans with her due to financial difficulties. I was able to barrow from a friend and all was set to go with Amy. I definitely recommend her to new people who aren’t familiar with kennels. The cats were NOT locked up in crates or cages but had a room to themselves separate from the dogs. Cozy with carpet and a cat tree. I will DEFINITELY use her again in the NEAR future now that I know I can have a peace of mind about my cats and their safety. THANKS AGAIN AMY🥰‼️💯💯💯
This is the best places in Buffalo area for pet sitting, Amy is super professional responsible and nice person, she helped us a lot with our kitten Rica. Even when the kitten needed an eye drops Amy just found it somewhere and started treating. I'm highly recommend her if you are looking for something to take care of your fluffy friend.
We had a fantastic experience with Amy's B&B. Amy is professional, organized, and extremely kind to our sweet dog who is use to being just at home with us. I'm so happy she was able to take care of our pup during the holidays and send us pictures everyday of how she was doing. We will definitely be reaching out given a future opportunity. Thank you Amy for such a great experience and the cute report card and treats!
Needed a safe and fun place for my Pomeranian to go during a party- so glad Amy was able to accommodate. Kody Bear had so much fun and Amy even drove him home to us. Highly recommend and will use again
I am forever grateful for the island pet Lodge. I have recently moved out of state so I am no longer using the pet Lodge weekly like I used to and I’ve started looking for a daycare near me and other places out here are horrible. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy go to one of these other places. The next time I go on vacation, and need my dog boarded I will be bringing my dog back to New York to the island pet Lodge before going on vacation. our animals are truly blessed to have a place like the island pet Lodge.
So this is my 4th and last time taking my dogs to this kennel, we have never had a problem with this place before. Picked up my dogs from a short 4 day stay. So, first off, our flight was running late, I called them as soon as we landed and asked if it was ok if I was 5 minutes to 10 minutes late picking them up because of my flight delay. They said, no because they had somewhere to be at 7pm (when they close), probably just to charge me for another day! I managed to make it there just before 7pm, put the dogs in the car, then there was a strong sense of urine on one of them and dried poop along the neck of my shepherd, which you could smell and tell they tried to wash out. Also as soon as we got home they both drank a whole bowl of water and gobbled their food down which we have never seen before, and one of them has Addison's disease and she just looked run down....We also sent 2 blankets with them which I could tell were never put on their cots because there should have been hair all over them and there wasn't, and even if they washed or dried them they should have smelled the same right, nope, they were folded and smelled the same as when we packed them. This place "used" to be great, not so much anymore! I do not recommend this place anymore!
I’ve dealt with Chris on many occasions as well as Andy. They have always treated me & my dog with the upmost respect. I notice when a car comes in, they know exactly who it is & what the name of the dog is before they even step out of the vehicle. It’s extremely evident that they are passionate about keeping our dogs safe & happy.
This place is truly amazing! My dog gets so excited to come here and mad on days he doesn’t go to daycare! The staff is extremely nice, helpful and take good care of your pets. They always greet you and your pet by name, and half the time when I pull in to pick my boy up they are already getting him ready for me to take him home!
Can't say enough good things about Island Pet Lodge. It is a great facility for all dogs, big or small. The staff are wonderful and always ready to give feedback on how your dog is doing. Whether boarding or daily day care, I would strongly recommend Island Pet Lodge to everyone.
After hours I'm not sure animals have safe warm. Conditions in winter.
They are really reasonably priced. Most of the staff was warm and engaging with us and our furry family member, with the exception of, when asked, we were denied the opportunity of viewing the accommodations that our baby would be staying in for a four day period, I was pretty content with the services.
Brought my dog here every day for a week while my girlfriend was out of town on vacation. The staff is very friendly and the building is a beautiful place to bring your pet. As I saw my dog every night, I could see that he was well taken care of and certainly looked after. He so looked forward to going every day and the staff knew what he had been up to every evening when I asked. A true sign he was in good hands! Very satisfied with our experience, thanks!
I don't normally review, but this place deserves it. My dogs absolutely love going there and the staff is wonderful. You can tell they truly care about animals and treat your pet like family. It is so nice to know that I have a safe place for my dogs to go when I go away and takes stress off knowing they will be well cared for. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Our three dogs go here and always come home tired from a fun filled play day. They get their baths done here too and always come home smelling great and feeling clean. They take the time to get to know your dogs and you. Very friendly and great customer service.
I’ve been taking my Italian Greyhounds here for years. Everyone there is fantastic with them. Both of my dogs are on medications and they are thorough in making sure the instructions are up to date each visit. Debbie is familiar with some of the medications one of my dogs is on because she had a dog on them as well and she very understanding about his needs. Sarah is wonderful and you can tell she truly cares about the animals there. On our most recent visit one was not eating normal and she called to keep me updated until his tummy issues returned to normal. My dogs love to go visit Debbie’s and they know exactly where their spot is. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I recommend everyone take their dogs to Debbie’s if they want a kennel that puts the animals first.
Dropped our little guy off here for the day so we could go see the falls. They were super sweet and communicative. Great place!
The care my bassett hounds received was great. You can tell the folks here really care about the animals. Very friendly and caring.
Love this place and so does Blue. He always enjoys his stay
We took our 2 year old male lab and 5 month old lab female here during our 3 1/2 day trip out of town, and this place was amazing. They were friendly and offered many accommodations to comfort our pups. They were extremely nice to us and our dogs. We also got a “first time visit” discount, which was an added bonus. When we left, they gave each pup a special treat and showed obvious signs that they had bonded with our animals, and were sad to see them go. It’s definitely a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed! We will go here again!
Very pleased with the treatment our new puppy received. We wanted to take a city tour but were hesitant to leave our new puppy alone in the camper all day. Fortunately, found Debbie's online and she was less than 5 minutes from our campground. We visited in advance and were impressed with the accommodations and more important the people there. I'd recommend Debbie's for anyone visiting the area needing a place to watch your fur baby while you do some sightseeing.
Wow the folks that run this pet palace were terrific. They really took the time to listen to directions and I appreciated all of the shot records they requested. We will definitely be bringing our pet back when we visit the area again.
This place is phenomenal!!!! If I ever come back with my dogs again I will definitely board them there. Debbie and Earl were just great and my dogs loved it. So if you go to Niagara Falls with pets and need to board them to take in the sites, this is the place to leave them.
Absolutely fantastic couple! I messed up and showed up to drop off my dog outside of their hours but they happened to be there and checked my Dog in anyways with no complaints. My dog seemed well taken care of upon pickup and the staff was very friendly and caring of my pup! Highly, Highly recommend!
The only place I take my pup for her nails. Debbie is an amazing gentle pet lover. My dog is very comfortable with her. She is so nice and just so loving to my dog. The staff always has been great and very friendly. Debbie is so caring.
Convenient location and plenty of dogs for my fur baby to play with… he loved it! Can’t wait to see the new renovations. Staff is great and prices are reasonable with plenty of options. I would recommend. He gets the “camp hangover” after a full day of play… he’s exhausted!!🤣❤️🐾 …
Camp Bow Wow is a godsend. We've been taking our staffy Maggie there for almost 2 years and she loves it, and so do we. She literally howls with excitement every morning when we're on our way there! The staff is great and you can tell that they really care about dogs, and pay attention to them. And the best part is seeing your extremely tired, but very happy, pup at the end of the day. When Maggie doesn't go to Bow Wow, she wakes us up around 6:30 in the morning. The day after she's gone there -- I'm waking her up at 7:30 :)
My dog loves it here! They take such good care of him and his high energy self. He was kicked out of a previous daycare for being “too energetic”. Breanna did his entrance test and was super helpful, knowledgeable and made time for us, we even got a cute first day note with how it went and what he did. The staff gets excited when they see him and go above and beyond to make him feel special. I highly recommend. (After a long day of play at camp now wow sleeping with his teddy bear)
October 2024 Update! I saw my review was from 4 years ago and wanted to provide an updated review! The staff at Camp Bow Wow is INCREDIBLE. They treat each dog like they are the most special dog that comes to camp. I’ve watched on the cameras and the counselors always make time to pet the dogs and engage with them. We received a text from the staff a week or so ago that they had noticed a lump on her belly. We knew about the lump (it’s benign) but I was so very grateful that they reached out. The counselors and staff genuinely care about each dog. The new remodel is fantastic. The lobby is very inviting and clean. The staff at the front desk are always very friendly and kind. We also have boarded our dog at Camp Bow Wow when we’ve gone on vacations or just for a night or a weekend. It’s so nice to know that my dog is in good hands while we are away. I’m attaching a picture of my dog Kayleigh at Camp Bow Wow when they had bubbles during camp. We love Camp Bow Wow and so does Kayleigh. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for your doggy daycare and boarding needs! *************** The staff was extremely knowledgeable and so kind to our puppy!
I have been taking my dog little Bailey to daycare at Camp Bow Wow in Tonawanda for a while now . They are so great with him and I would recommend taking your dog here bc your dog will be in great care while he or she is there . They are all so friendly and nice and greet my dog by his name every time and he loves coming here to daycare. I will be soon keeping him in a cabin overnight to see how well he does . They are remodeling the place so more cabins they will have there . Bailey is in the new section as of today August 14,2024. Thank you so much for taking great care of Bailey while he is there. This has definitely changed my life in a great way bc he loves to socialize with all the dogs and he loves people. Thanks Camp Bow Wow! You all are awesome! ❤️
They staff is very friendly! They get excited when they see the dogs come through the door. My dog is already super excited the minute we pull into the parking lot! I love that I can check in on them at anytime with the app.
Friendly people who seem to genuinely love being with all our dogs. Lots of extras and reasonable prices. It gives me peace of mind that they are being cared for in a safe and fun environment
There is a ton that can be said about how wonderful this place truly is, but more how wonderful and caring the staff that work here are. I have been taking my dogs here for well over a decade now and they always enjoy their time here. The staff are always happy to see your pups and take the time to know your dogs name when they come running in through the door. Not only that, but the staff here treats the dogs with the upmost care as if they were their own. Nothing shows this more than what happened back in mid-November of 2022. While I was on vacation in Florida with my fiance, we had our two dogs at daycare for an extended week. Unfortunately, one of our dogs fell unexpectedly ill on the last day she was to be there. The staff noticed her change in attitude immediately and had called us. While they had offered to take her to the Vet ER, we had our emergency contact take them and unfortunately she ended up passing that day due to a tumor rupturing that we weren't even aware of. Had it not been for the quick act of the staff in noticing her change, our dog surely would have been suffering in pain. It didn't stop there with the staff though. Knowing how distraught we were over the loss of our pet and not even being able to be there during her final moments, the staff went out of their way to have a stone memorial made for my fiance and me to honor her along with a card with condolences from the staff. And if that wasn't enough, they cut the bill that was to be owed for the daycare by $400. If this doesn't tell you how much they care about the pets and their customers, I don't know what else does. The staff here are the best and I will always use Camp Bow Wow as the place where my dogs will find their home way from home.
Very responsive staff when I reached out about an interview. Front desk and camp counselors were very friendly and accommodating, and I emailed halfway through the day to check on the dog and got an immediate response with an update on how she was doing. I asked about having her nails trimmed and the girl at the front desk recommended we not do that on interview day - it was definitely the best recommendation but I appreciated that she wasn't willing to sell us a service if it wouldn't be best for the dog. Very detailed information provided, answered all of my questions both at drop off and at pickup. We're looking forward to sending our dog to camp one day a week going forward, and possibly doing boarding in the future. Updated to add: We LOVE Bow Wow! Our girl is a former puppy mill mama so she came with some very timid manners and is nervous about new people and places. All of the staff at Bow Wow have been so kind to us and to her - they're great about giving us updates when we call to check on her, and they always greet her by name, whether she's there for camp or for boarding. She's clearly well cared-for, and she loves going to play with her "friends." We've had nothing but excellent experiences with Bow Wow. We are so grateful for the staff there!
Camp bow wow did not notify me of ongoing construction currently going on in the back where the dogs are. I had made a reservation for my dog months prior, and after I discovered there would be loud construction in the back and it was not advised for dogs that were scared of loud noises to board there, I explained that I discovered there was construction by chance and asked why I was never informed of the ongoing construction. I was told "It is too difficult to call 200 pet parents. We also handed out flyers and you should have been following our social media." Crazy how they blamed me for not having taken my dog to camp on a regular basis to receive the notification flyer and not following them on social media. All I wanted was for them to take accountability and admit their fault, but instead they blamed me and made me feel crazy for asking to be notified of loud construction. If they are able to confirm everyone's reservations, why don't they have the time to notify customers of ongoing construction? Especially when I made the reservation months prior and my dog was going to be boarded for over a week. Not to mention they said the owner was going to call me days ago and I never received a call. what a way to run a business
They are super friend and really know each dog that goes to the facility. We've been giving for years and never worry. Both my pups always have a good time and don't come home stressed at all, just tired from a big week. Our one dog isn't the most polite, but the staff are great with caring for her and take her on extra walks as needed since she doesn't participate in day care. Our other dog is a puppy with lots of energy. He came home happy and healthy, even came has better manners than when we dropped him off. 😆
This is my tried and true care facility for my dog Stella Bella. She is always treated so well! We do both daycare and short term / long term boarding. The staff is patient with me and gentle with Stella. Highly recommended
We have a very silly 1-yo labradoodle. He highly recommends Creature Comfort Pet Resort. He made many friends, and had a great time. When we come back to the area to visit, we will definately bring him back here. Thank you staff and furry friends.
Tonawanda Creature Comforts Pet Resorts is a LAST RESORT and here’s why: Drop-off: (30-35mins) The receptionist couldn’t find our reservation, accused us of trying to board without reservation on a busy holiday - turns out, she was looking for the wrong name... She was quite abrasive and NEVER treated us with any human decency. We had to fill out paperwork (that was already done online), regarding all of the extra charges vs. basic care. I had spoken to a representative on the phone at booking, who said that social time with a worker is free of charge with multiple nights stay. I tried clarifying this with the receptionist, once she was done chatting with a coworker instead. She very coldly said that unless we pay extra, dogs get 5 quick pee walks a day and are in their runs the rest of the time alone. She literally didn’t care at all about our concerns or make any attempt to reassure us. Our dog is 50lbs and almost 12yrs old and just needs a couple fetch tosses and some pets to make his heart happy. Social interactions of any kind are an extra charge, including doggy daycare, which has been included in the boarding at EVERY other place EXCEPT here, where they charge extra for your dog to do anything besides eat, sleep, and poop! You also have to pay extra for photos or videos to know how he is doing while there. Other boarding places post pictures on their socials/have live streams FOR FREE! At Creature Comforts, which already charges $47/day, more than most places, you have to pay extra to know how your dog is being treated and for them to get any attention at all! We left feeling very unsettled but did buy him a chew treat for between pee walks and feedings. When we picked him up the entire treat was given back to us, untouched because “the dog must have been too distracted to eat it”. We know our dog and he loves other boarding facilities and is always down for a chew treat. We think they never gave it to him because he devoured it as soon as we gave it to him! Pick-up: (30ish mins) just as bad as drop off! We called ahead to pick up our dog an hour early, due to snow, and they said no problem (because they’re always so nice on the phone…when/if they pick up). There was one person cashing out and another waiting ahead of us. We waited nearly 15 minutes before the receptionist greeted us with “Next!” as if we were in line at a bank (and the way they charge extra for every little thing here it is clear money is all they care about, cuz nobody cared about the people or MOST OF ALL THE DOGS)! They tried billing for a 4 day-stay (drop-off Weds morning, pick-up Sat at 10am), and we had to justify that our dog only stayed 3 days. The manager involved herself, even though we had figured it out, and she double checked the paperwork (which was partly missing again) to ensure that we were telling the truth. The receptionist, thankfully, remembered us from drop-off, so he was able to verify the length of stay, since the paperwork had been transferred over “incorrectly”. After paying, we had to wait nearly 15 more minutes for them to get our dog. Two more customers were taken before us!! One came to drop-off, but because our dog is reactive to other dogs, that dog was taken back first. Meanwhile another customer came to pickup two dogs. Our receptionist was going to make us wait AGAIN but the manager told him to go get our dog first, since we were there first! ALL front desk employees looked miserable, like they hated their jobs, and seemed clueless on what they were doing, often asking the same question several times! These employees ranged in age upper 20s to late 40s/early 50s, so they should definitely know how to have a job and treat customers! There were many employees walking around aimlessly, yet we were waiting as though we were invisible. It shouldn’t have taken over half an hour, both times, because they certainly weren’t understaffed! Overall, our dog looked healthy when we got him back, but he is definitely happy to be home and we will NEVER bring him back to “Creature Comforts Pet Resort” again!
Boarded my pups and cat here for two different stays and I have nothing but good things to say. They were nice and polite when checking in and made sure to give me a detailed verbal report in addition to their report cards when checking out. I opted for pictures on one of their stays and to be honest it’s one of my favorite pictures of them. For anyone interested I had both of my pups in the same classic run with no issues!
They have always treated my dogs well. Anytime we call to ask about them we are met with a delightful response from the employee. Dogs come back happy and not full of gunk like other kennels.
Resort?? Really?? My friend very recently had her beautiful, sweetest, happy, young, Healthy!! baby girl there for a week while they were away. When they returned and picked her up, she was disoriented, dehydrated, skinny and next day realized how sick she was. Took her to emergency hospital right away and was told they didn’t know if she was going to make it or not. Had to keep her on an IV. Doing everything they could, extremely sad, she died!!! 😭. And this business remains open!!!! 😡 She has before and after pictures, it’s clear that she did not come out the way she went in. And went from healthy, active, happy, to dying from staying here. The one star is only bc I had to put something. This place deserves no stars and a law suit!!! The pain is so real for everyone especially for their daughter who is constantly crying!! So heartbreaking!! 😭… Before & after pics (wish I can post videos so you really can see)…..UPDATE: Do not try to dismiss this review. So nobody recognizes this 8 month, active, healthy dog with pretty blue eyes, that was just there? Nobody remembers neglecting her? Contact the owner of this beautiful baby girl whose been trying to contact you with no return calls!!
They are great with my dog. She was able to play with other dogs no problem at daycare. They answered my questions when I called with no issues. The grooming service was exceptional after her stay. She came back smelling great and looking great.
I bring all 3 of my dogs here for daycare and they absolutely love it! Staff is very friendly and the facility itself is very clean. They offer a bunch of services (I have yet to try more)! My pups get excited as soon as we pull up to the facility and not to mention how pooped they are after daycare! I have had to board one time over the summer, staff is very patient with me for calling non stop for updates on my pet! The owner and staff genuinely love all pets entering the building! I feel comfortable leaving my pets here for daycare and boarding because I know they're in good care! Highly recommended!
No one locally trims long fur Guinea Pigs.. My Butterscotch has long fur that gets in his private area.. They were amazing cleaning him up..
Lisa was very reliable and diligent about sending pictures of my puppy’s walk. I could tell he was happy based on my Ring video. She was punctual and respectful when returning leash and refuse bags to their proper places.
I would highly recommend claws and effects to do pet sitting. They took great care of my bunnies and sent me photos every time they visit so I can enjoy my trip without worrying my bunnies. I would definitely work with them again.
Alison watched our two dogs for us while we were at a family wedding. She kept us updated with texts and photos, which was much appreciated! We knew our dogs loved her from the moment she met them at the meet & greet, and we were extremely confident in her ability to care for them and keep them happy and safe. Thank you, Alana and Claws and Effect, for sending Alison our way!
Alana & Katherine are awesome. They send pics/video of their visit. It really gives me peace of mind when I have to go out of state. My cats like hiding under my covers when they hear strange/new noises/voices. They’ve started warming up to them during their third visit.
Alana and her crew are amazing. They have watched my cats for a while now and always go above and beyond. I love the pics they send during each visit! But during the Christmas blizzard especially, Alana went over and above, making sure my automatic feeder had batteries in case the power went out, and she even trudged through the snow on my unplowed street to get to my cats. Staying in contact with me all the time. They are fantastic and will really care about your pets!! Can’t recommend highly enough!
We have used Claws and Effect a few times now for cat sitting and have always been continually happy with the service! Lisa was so professional and obviously cared so much for our kitties. We received updates throughout the day and she was great to communicate with. Overall a fantastic service and company!
Claws and Effect is absolutely the best ever. Alana came when my vet was not doing nail trimming during COVID and still comes regularly. She is amazing with our dogs and they are so happy to see her when she comes for their trim. I would highly recommend them to everyone in need of the services they offer. They go above and beyond for their clients Thank You!!!!
I am very happy with Claw and Effect (great name too). My kitties were spoiled rotten. Loved the daily pics and how fast our little fur babies warmed up to their caregiver. They say animals know who they can trust... THANKS AGAIN SO VERY MUCH.
I would highly recommend Claws and Effect without a doubt. Our vets wouldn’t accommodate us because “nail trims aren’t necessary” at this time. Unfortunately my dogs nails had gotten out of control, but Alana came out and was amazing with both of my old girls. She walked me through everything she was doing while she was trimming their nails and was able to schedule us again in two weeks. Both of my girls can be a bit hesitant with new people, but they warmed right up to Alana in the short time she was with them. Thank you so much for making things a bit easier for Ellah and Maggie, as well as myself!
Looking for that piece of mind about your pet when at work or on vacation? Look no more! Claws and Effect is truly the right choice for your pet. Alana and Katherine took great care of my 2 dogs. The attention, love and comfort they gave was genuine. The updates and pictures sent during and after their visits was appreciated and informative. Make the call or send an email you will be happy you chose Claws and Effect Maria P.
