It was exciting to meet Marci, who is an author and screenwriter and publisher as well as being a very responsible pet and housesitter. Her newest book was actually released while she was staying at our home, and I was able to buy a copy on Amazon and have her sign it before she left. Marci had miserable weather for the first part of her stay and she seem to manage things quite well. I think she finally got a few good days toward the end of the stay. She is one of the few housesitters that truly seem to enjoy our parrot, Max, although she had never stayed with a parrot before. The cats and dog seem to take to her right away. She even stayed an extra night when we realized that our flight got in too late to drive home. The house was as tidy when we returned as it was when we left. We would definitely invite her back again.

Leaving my Oscar with Hope at Sandy Paws means I don't have to worry at all. He gets excited when we pull into the driveway, and then runs into her yard, and doesn't even notice that I've left. He knows he will be loved and taken on long walks on the beach. He enjoys spending time with JB, and sometimes another dog too. If I am on vacation, he is too.
Hope is the dog whisperer. She takes amazing care of our two labradoodles. She takes them on long walks or to play on the beach every day. She always knows when one of them may not feel well and consults the vet if necessary. She always seems to know exactly what to do. The dogs run into her home whenever we arrive and are very much at home there. I trust her completely with my pups.

Gina is great! She sends text/picture updates and gets to know your pet first so you know they're loved while you're away! Thanks to her, our guinea pigs got to stay home safe and comfortable instead of having to board at the vet. Would recommend!
Gina is a pro! The hardest part of going away, even for a couple of nights, is leaving our fur babies. Millie (our dog) loves Gina. Elyse is extremely reliable, reasonably priced, and my dogs absolutely love her! She gives me piece of mind when I cannot be there to care for my dogs, whether it be for a day or a week. She is extremely knowledgable about all animals and is able to care for my large and giant breed dogs without a hitch. Her knowledge, reliability and genuine love towards all animals puts her above all the rest. I highly recommend!!

BUYER BEWARE. CANNOT TRUST. Elyse had committed to watching our dogs over our vacation anniversary weekend and 3 days before we were scheduled to leave, she completely ghosted us and never responded to any calls or texts. Never bothered to tell us she could no longer watch our dogs. She had also confirmed for a meet and greet which she needed to reschedule and never came. Terrible way to run a business and we had a really difficult time finding backfill. I hope your business fails, truthfully, so others don’t have to deal with the same incompetence and lack of integrity. 👎🏼
