Sally was an excellent and easygoing host and left me great caregiving directions. Hula and Ukulele were the sweetest rescue dogs who walked easily together. Luna is fairly fearless so I tried to keep her on the outside of Ukulele while walking. At home, Hula wanted to be next to me all the time or at least in the same room, while Ukulele liked to be on his own. The house and view were stunning! I enjoyed a very spectacular sunset one night. My hosts provided a super comfortable clean room which has a bonus waterfall in the backyard if you open the window. It’s one of my favorite neighborhoods in the world and I walked to the farmer’s market on Sunday. I would sit for them anytime!
I loved to take care of Rumi, Marney and Mac. The animals were friendly and cute! I would recommend to housesit at Grace and Dave's property. It's very big and peaceful. It is in a nice and quiet neighborhood not that far away from Auckland CBD and a beautiful park to walk with the dogs.
What a fun holiday weekend Poul and I had meeting Eve and Scott and spending time with Sailor, Bo, and Swiper! Before we met in person, we had the wonderful opportunity to video chat online to learn more about them, their home, and their sweet and cuddly fur babies. The night before we began our pet/house-sit, Eve and Scott took the time to go over how to best care for their pets and home and answered any questions we had. We felt very well-prepared and very excited for our weekend with Sailor, Bo, and Swiper. Their home and backyard in Carlsbad are extremely comfortable and relaxing and their neighborhood includes beautiful views, numerous walking trails, and a spacious community BBQ area and pool. Location wise, it’s extremely convenient to so many stores, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. It’s absolutely amazing! Sailor, Bo, and Swiper are so incredible sweet, loving, and fun to be around. Sailor enjoyed belly rubs, playing with her toys, walks around the neighborhood, and relaxing in the sun on the back patio with us. Bo loved our attention, playing with her toys, napping, and checking in with Sailor. And Swiper, although a bit shy at first, also really enjoyed our affection and being around the action. We had a lot of fun keeping in touch with Eve and Scott while they were on vacation with their family…and sharing photos and stories afterwards too. We so appreciated their positive feedback, timely communication, and thoughtful generosity. Thank you again for everything! We’re really hoping our paths cross again in the future.

I had a very good stay at Lorena and Drew place. Zephyr and Ziggy are cute, nice, easy. It's not difficult to give insulin to Zephyr and Ziggy is very friendly, patient and respectful for a young dog. It was a real pleasure to walk with him twice a day. The house is confortable with a good location near parks and quiet neighborhood. They are going to move in another house so I think it's to live in an even better one. And I understood it won't be very far from their actual place. Lorena and Drew are kind, helpful and thoughful. They provided me a car and then I could go to hike with Ziggy in parks near the mountains, and also visit Nederland and Louisville nearby Boulder. Lorena gave me lots of interesting informations about where to go and what to do in Boulder and around. We staid in touch during the sitting and they gave me advices when I needed. Boulder is a very pleasant city with nice people talking easily and the landscapes are just beautiful. I highly recommend this sit, everything was perfect.
