Erin was absolutely fantastic, she took wonderful care of Max and kept me updated while I was away. She also left the flat spotless which was such a relief to come home to!
Gene has excellent communication skills and knows how to delegate. Once she had taken me through the things I needed to know she packed and left early the next day. While away she was in remote areas and left me to take care of Mylinda and her house. I had a reliable contact in case anything urgent eventuated. It did not. Mylinda is a very personable and affectionate cat. She was a great companion and loves to have a chat. I will miss my new little BFF. It's a quick walk to the shops and the train station. The trip to the CBD is about 20 minutes and you can find lots of things to do from Botanical Gardens to Ferries on the river. This has been my most enjoyable sit to date.
Gina is so lovely and kindly picked us up from the train for our housesit. Before leaving she made sure to give us so much info about the area and introduced us to her gorgeous dog Wilf! I will miss hanging with Wilf, he showed us all around the area. Gina’s place is in the perfect area to explore parks and the city so it was all very walkable. Was also good to meet her son on the day. All round an awesome stay and hope I can see Gina again in the future! (Also moorish falafel is amazing, highly recommend).
A dream petsit! The dogs and Scrawny the cat are the coolest, and they taught me all about the mountain life. Together, we did lots of exploring with basically the entire mountain all to ourselves. Jake and Audrey have a beautiful home in a very peaceful location with views for days. Great communication and notes - I felt right at home!!
Karen was an absolutely lovely person to sit for. She was very welcoming, and was easy to communicate with. She left great instructions and overall it was a super relaxing sit. The house was beautiful, and the area is vibey and fun to explore. Teddy and Lucy are adorable/chill dogs. They love a cuddle, but also enjoy napping on their own a lot of the day - especially in sunny spots if they can find them. They love the park but overall they’re really low maintenance pups. They were hard to say goodbye to!
We had the opportunity to do an extended house sit for Nikol and Chris and we couldn’t have enjoyed their amazing pups, beautiful home, and wonderful mountain town more! Freddy and Annie got along so well with our dog Wolfie and we all enjoyed lots of hikes, snuggles, and will always cherish the memories with them. I have to admit that I shed a few tears when we were leaving. Their home is on the golf course in a quiet charming neighborhood and you can walk or ride your bike to local restaurants, shops, and trails. We brought our bikes and snowboards, and had the absolute best time enjoying everything Salida has to offer. Nikol was so easy to communicate with and made sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We would sit for them again in a heartbeat!
Sorry for the delay, I though I had taking care of the review. We had a lovely time in nice with Whitney. Whitney is shy at first, but still wants to be close to you on the balcony or couch. Even played hide and seek with us, got in a closed cabinet above the closet. Took us over a hour to find her, sneaky little girl. The location is easy to get to and close to everything with the subway right around the corner.
