We had a simply glorious time with Maisha, Nusu and Kili in the most wonderfully comfortable house. Gary and Jo are the most gracious considerate hosts and we can't think of a beter place to have spent our time this winter. As locations go, it is stunning, but even seeing Dartmoor in the distance every morning is nothing compared to watching the sheer joy of Nusu in the snow and frost or the satisfied snoozing of Maisha cuddling up with you on the outside sofas in the spring sunshine. You can take Nusu and Maisha for walks through the surrounding fields although we also took them out in our car most days exploring moors and woods in the area. Maisha and Nusu are well behaved and a joy to be with. Kili is very self-sufficient and enjoys sleeping most of the day in her basket although she does welcome attention and a bit of grooming whenever you are in the vicinity of her basket. We feel very lucky to have had this time in a lovely part of the world.
Had such an amazing time looking after Teddie. Cara made us feel like we were friends visiting and was so generous with her home. Teddie is such a cutie! A very affectionate cat who does needs special care, but he was easy to look after and very cuddly. We had such a great time and enjoyed all of Cara's local recommendations.
Such a fun sit! The house is lovely and in a great area, close to walking/biking paths, Lake Natoma (great kayaking there!), shopping, etc. But the best part of this sit is definitely the adorable Bella and Layla!
Liz is very welcoming and the house is super clean and comfy. Buddy and Willow are two very easygoing doggies and caring for them was a delight. Communication was efficient and instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had a lovely time!
What a delightful sit from start to finish! Caroline has a lovely home and property with a super comfortable room for the sitter. Even in winter it's beautiful and is well heated. Both cats and Freddie quickly became companionable - lots of hugs and cuddles and their routines were all they asked for. It was a gentle sit with no hassles and Caroline is fast with her communication. Wookey Village is pretty and has a pub and cafe within a few yards of each other. It's a few minutes drive to Wells and easy to get to Glastonbury. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would love to return one day.
Wonderful sit with these very loving dogs. Wally can be stubborn and quirky but Lara was great guiding me in his care. Very comfortable home, too
