Annabel's house is absolutely stunning and the surrounding location and scenery is beautiful. There are plenty of small towns and villages close by which are great to visit whilst the house itself is peaceful and remote. Juno is a very lively dog with lots of character, she has her cuddly moments and her silly playful moments which made me laugh, such as when she steals your socks and makes a game of trying to get them back, she never chewed anything or did any damage. She is quite hard to walk, her excitement level is very high as soon as she sees you putting your shoes on, and she pulls very hard on the lead for the whole walk and I often felt that I could not control her. Her recall in the garden was not good and she was able to escape so I didn't want to let her off the lead when out and about. Although she should know commands, for example to sit and wait at stiles and gates, I struggled to get her to do these things. She was very patient when it came to washing her off when she got muddy and brushing any seeds and twigs out of her fur after walks and she never complained when she had to be put in the boot room whilst I was eating or if I went out. I met Annabel's Dad and her cleaner when I arrived at the house who were with able to show me around which was very helpful, both leaving their contact details. It was assuring to know that I had two contacts who both live nearby should I have had any issues.
I had a wonderful time sitting for Sandy in Damac! Sandy is just the sweetest girl you can ever imagine, a pure joy and a fluffy baby. She is so well trained and super easy to bond with. She is a very happy and gentle dog, so totally easy to fall in love with her would definitely like to look after her again. Missing her already as I can see, that she is a great friend for life and Kevin and his family are really blessed with her. Nikki & Kevin's house is perfectly tidy, comfortable, and well equipped, and located in a really calm and nice place in Dubai desert. I also feel lucky that I got to spend a day with Nikki, Kevin, and Archie (the cutest and sweetest boy on the earth!). Their communication was excellent, they made me feel very welcome and comfortable, left great local contacts for any needed support or just company, and are simply a beautiful family to be around. The entire sit was a great experience!
We had a great stay at Georgia and Joe’s place with Beau. Their apartment is very nice and well equipped, they were both very welcoming and helpful, providing a great guide for our stay with local tips. Beau was a fun and energetic dog to look after. Highly recommend!
I had the sheer joy of housesitting and caring for the adorable Twiggy over the holidays. Alicia and Nick were delightful hosts and most accommodating. You won’t find a better location, as the beach and waterfront paths are close by, and the neighbourhood is safe and charming. Twiggy has a wonderful personality. She is playful, curious, incredibly bright and an excellent walker. She greets people with ease and enjoyed engaging in play with other dogs. I had a wonderful experience. It was hard to say goodbye. Thank you very much Alicia and Nick.
We had a great time sitting with the pack! The dogs had lots of energy but they like to cuddle with that same energy! We were extremely comfortable and communication was very easy. We enjoyed our time and would come back anytime! Thanks guys!
Lovely people, lovely home,  and they are entirely welcoming to Housesitters  with your own floor  and private premises.  Suzanne and her husband could not be more hospitable. Gracie, their cat, who is nine,  just lost her brother, so she needs love and cat food. I highly recommend it if you get to sit here.
