Jeff and Mari-Ann were the perfect host & pet parents. I arrived the afternoon before their trip to get aquatinted with their house, neighborhood and caring for their 2 French bulldogs. Their home is beautiful in a large quiet neighborhood with access to the Manatee River. Lots of birds and sandhill cranes. I truly enjoyed my time bonding with Ruth and Gabby (sisters) and getting to know their unique personalities! They were both easy to care for once you do their routine a few times. I found it easier to walk them separately as Gabby's walking limit was shorter than her sisters. Ruth will walk as long as you do and loves to go down to the river. They both love to lounge in the afternoon sun on the back patio area. They were a pleasure to care for and have the sweetest personalities! They get along so well with each other, even during their rough play times. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this sitting opportunity! I miss them already. Thank you, Jeff, Mari-Ann, Ruth and Gabby.
Careful! This group will steal your heart and have you wondering if you should maybe find a way to move to Albuquerque so you can see them every day. From dashing, sweet Oscar to playful Toby, the wonderdog and the two kitty queens, Mia and Sophie, every day with these guys is a sweet adventure. And then there's Linda and John who will make you feel like family right away and welcome you with anything you might need. They are wonderful communicators and just sincerely wonderful people. And then, the icing on the cake is the little oasis they've created in the middle of the desert. A wonderful yard with lots of space to play, a welcoming willow tree, sparkling pool, and beautiful, thoughtfully crafted home and guesthouse.. as I said, you won't ever want to leave! I highly recommend this sit to anyone who has the energy and inclination to keep the puppies on their toes and keep the kitties happy. You won't be disappointed!
This was the most amazing house/dog sit. 🧡 Sue and Dom were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us throughout the duration of our stay. We spent a couple of days with them before and after their vacation and really loved their company. Angus and Isla were the most loving dogs and we miss them already! We enjoyed playing games with Angus and he made us laugh everyday. Isla is very independent but she loved her walks and cuddles in the evening. The house had everything we needed plus more and the location was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We can’t wait to see you all again! 🥰
I had the most wonderful stay at Liv's home with Benny and Alfie. Both Alfie and Benny are very easy to care for, and love cuddles. Liv's house is located close to a handful of parks which made walking Alfie a joy (he loves sticks and squirrels), and he's the first dog I felt comfortable enough to let run around off leash. He has wonderful recall and would never stray too far. Benny is an indoor/outdoor cat who is incredibly affectionate and loved to cuddle up at the end of my bed (which was incredibly comfy). 10/10 would recommend this house sit to anyone who is interested.
Kathy and Alan are easy going, provided clear instructions and ensured that there were sufficient supplies for the house sit. Their place is in the heart of Dickson and is so so close to all the yummy restaurants and takeaways that perhaps represents the best of international cuisine available in Canberra. The real treat is Angus. He is very smart, reserved and yet shows a very soft side when you connect with him. We had tons of fun with him and already miss hm very much.
Fabulous experience sitting for Charlene. Greta was the sweetest easiest dog, and Linus, Desmond and Molly were super affectionate cats. Even the chickens enjoy being pet as well as laying my breakfast every day. The little farmstead is a great stay and Charlene was super helpful on some practical issues.
