The residents of the home were a very charming couple discovered over a tasty homemade gumbo dish shared the night before they left.

Gracie the cat and I had a lot in common and bonded well. We are both seniors, we both stopped in our tracks when we saw the beautiful colorful birds eating at the bird feeder attached to the outside kitchen window. We both prefer fish as our favorite protein and we both like relaxing in beautiful surroundings as you will find there.

In their planned community I had access to the wonderful lap pool and even a waterpark with a nice lazy river sometimes shared with a duck or two. I even took a Zumba class, all this obtainable with the guest pass I was given.

I miss Gracie’s purrs as I brushed her and her jumping on my lap to groom me. She is a very sweet cat with beautiful big green eyes. A lovely place for a house/pet sit.

Excellent, central San Diego neighborhood. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and stores. While Luna is not into walking for the sake of taking a walk, she will definitely let you know when she's ready to do her business; she is out and then back in - don't even try to sneak in a little extra leash time because she won't have it. :) She's an excellent snuggle bunny and will gladly curl up with you while you watch a movie or read a book.

Dana and Mark are very gracious and easy to communicate with. Their beautiful home is located within the Pebble Beach area backing up to the Del Monte Forest and lots of hiking trails. The backyard/patio is a magnet to many different birds and wildlife. There is always entertaining activity to watch, not to mention the gorgeous sunsets.
Although the two rescue dogs (Mooch and Crash) are old and required meds, they are very sweet and eventually became affectionate. They had many “accidents”in the house and required lots of clean up. The two rescue cats are very skittish and are easy to care for. After a week, they let me briefly pet them.
This is a wonderful sit, but does require a good amount of special attention to the animals.
