I had the best time taking care of Neala! The apartment of Jessica is in one of the best areas in Paris and has everything you need. The next metro station is right next to the apartemnt and everything you could possibly need is in walking distance. And the view? Amazing!

Neala is such a cutie and I immediately fell in love with her! She loves her belly scratches and will happily sleep in bed with you if she feels like it. She loves playing with her favourite orange ball and she's a real cuddle monster ;D

On her walks she can get a bit anxious and nervous if there are too many people around, but I never had a problem with her and she's pretty lazy for a staffy and doesn't want to go too far sometimes.

I blocked her when we met other dogs, cause Jessica told me she gets anxious around other dogs, and it worked really well! Putting myself between her and the other dog, really helped her, so I really recommend doing that!

Jessica is as lovely as Neala and I really enjoyed talking to her and eating dinner together! Our communication was great at all times and I always felt like I could contact her if something would happen. It was a pleasure meeting you Jessica!

I'm really going to miss Neala and would housesit for Jessica again in a heartbeat! :) Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

We stayed for four nights at beautiful Beaufort House with the good company of lovely Basil the German Pointer. We arrived the night before the owners were due to leave and we received a warm welcome from them and we were provided with very comfortable en-suite accommodation. They have a wonderful house with a lovely garden in a great location. The WiFi was very fast (about 200 Mbps) which gives good support for remote working. Fiona provided us with good instructions for managing the house, the regime for feeding Basil and local walking routes. She was also able to recommend favoured restaurants and places to visit during our stay. Fiona had a very relaxed, open and generous nature which put us at ease while taking on the responsibility for the care of their home and their much loved doggy family member.

We had expected to spend much of our time exploring Cheltenham but in the end we did less of this because we found Basil to be such good company we were happy to take him on two or more walks a day, play with him in the garden and parks as well as just loving him. Basil is easy to walk because he ignores farm stock, does not often lose sight of his walker and returns when called. Each day we were out we would get into conversation with one of Fiona’s friends who would come over for a chat after recognising Basil. This gave the impression that there was a nice local community.

For us the highlights were firstly the chance to spend time with Basil, keeping him exercised, entertained and loved with lots of cuddles. Second to this was the opportunity to spend time feeling at home in their gorgeous house while cooking in the spacious kitchen. Thirdly, Cheltenham and the surrounding area are great places to explore.

For us the opportunity to care for Basil felt like a little holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The only down side was saying goodbye and feeling bereft of Basil on departure. We recommend this house sit to anyone able to manage longer walks with a large dog and who has lots of affection to give.

I had a lovely time looking after Oscar. Weather was pretty bad so not much time to explore the area. Oscar pretty wet most times he came back into the house!!

Charlotte left good instructions and information for me. She also warned me Oscar might bring animals back. Which he did! But managed to get the bird back outside.

Oscar did like to attack my feet in bed. Think he thought it was a game. He loved playing with his toys and sleeping beside you in the sun room.

A great base for exploring Brighton and other lovely places on the south coast.

Thank you Charlotte.

I had a wonderful time looking after Louis. His family gave me detailed instructions to care for him, as well as top tips on how to make the most of my stay. Louis was a total darling, mostly doing his own thing and sleeping, but did once stretch out on my feet for movie time and hopped into my lap when I was working. He's got the funniest meow, sometimes he sounds like a baby seagull. Would definitely recommend to any other sitters!
