Natalie and Joe were fantastic house- and pet sitters. Right from the start communication was easy and quick response times... we had the pleasure of having Joe and Natalie to stay with us for a night before leaving so we had easy airport rides. They straight away got on with Lucy, our JRT and enjoyed taking her on long hikes on the island. During our fortnight away, we had contact through WhatsApp, and nothing was too much trouble for Natalie to arrange around the house. They are both incredibly self-sufficient and adventurous. When we returned home there was a delicious vegetarian curry prepared by Natalie which we enjoyed very much. The house was tidy and clean, and the pets happy and healthy. I would highly recommend Joe and Natalie.
We found Ava five days before going on a nearly month long trip away from Mochi and we feel so lucky we did. Ava did a great job taking care of Mochi and even took him to the vet for us when he had to get him checked out unexpectedly. Throughout the vet scheduling and visit she communicated super well and throughout it all she was proactive and reliable. Per our request, we got pictures and videos of Mochi and a very brief update every few days. She kept the house clean and watered all our numerous plants on a regular basis. The plants actually look healthier than when we left! She made time to come to the house so that we could show her around and get a walk in with Mochi to get to know him a few days before we left, which was a huge bonus. Ava was flexible regarding our arrival date and time back into town and left beautiful little bouquets of flowers throughout the house that we are still enjoying. This was our longest trip away from Mochi and we are so glad we found Ava to care for him and the house. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ava for another Zeewoi opportunity in the future.
