Our stay in Chamonix was perfect. First, Margaux left us a very complete guide with a lot of information about the places to visit, remains, useful information, how the house works, and Umami's care. In addition, the house has a perfect location, with a spectacular view of the mountains. Regarding Umami, he is an orange cat, so fun is guaranteed. We spent a very good time with him, he is very sweet, he also has a lot of energy to play, but with a good character. In addition, he is a perfect companion for sunbathing on the terrace. Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to take care of Umami, we really enjoyed it a lot!
Sally and Richard made me feel very comfortable and welcome as soon as I arrived in their lovely home. Cleo and Tom are friendly, easy cats to look after. They are both quite independent. Tom enjoys exploring his garden and territory. Cleo likes to find a quiet out of the way spot upstairs and will join you on the sofa sometimes. The house is only a ten minute walk from the train station. It is an easy fifteen minutes through the parks to the city centre with all its fantastic history, laneways, the river and shopping. I thoroughly enjoyed my time house sitting for Sally and Richard.
Our stay in Jane’s home was wonderful. Pepper and Elsie are lovely and didn’t cause any trouble, they are two loving ladies. Pepper enjoyed her walks right across the street in the amazing park. Location was ideal, we loved being so well connected and having a place to enjoy nature and being part of the community during our stay. Thank you for welcoming us in your house, we had an amazing time accompanying Elsie and Pepper.
The pet owner: Although we did not get to meet Anne in person we had a lovely chat over a video call prior to the sit that made us feel comfortable that it would be great. We were provided a comprehensive welcome package that fully prepared us to take care of Annes lovely house and perfect kitties. The pets: Susan and I enjoyed Mazie and Jackie so very much they are a ton of fun. Both were happy to be brushed, pet, play and cuddle under the covers at bedtime. We missed them the second we left, they are both such good companions. Both did a nice job finishing their breakfast and dinner and both used the litter pans perfectly. The house: Anne's home is very large and well maintained. Anne had everything prepared for our arrival - her daughter took care to prepare her room as well (thank you!). The beds that were provided were very large and very comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and the water pressure was great. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a nice meal. Though we did not use the television, the room is large and comfy and I believe she had a connection that you could just hook up your phone/tablet or computer to. Anne provided all needed information to access the wifi in her welcome guide which she has printed and available on the counter. The town: The location is lovely, it was super easy to catch a bus to the Dachau train station or you could just walk there (perhaps a 15 minute brisk walk) and then Munich was only a short train ride from there. The very cute town of Dachau had wonderful coffee shops, stores and a nice Wineroom (Weinraum). Weinraum has very good food, a lovely wine selection and Elisabeth and her husband, Ibrahim, (the proprietors) took very good care of us on our 2 visits. The downtown section is about a 20 minute very safe walk. You do not need to go downtown for good food however, there are a few good restaurants much closer to Anne's home. Overall, a great experience that we would highly recommend to others. Thank you Anne and family for lettings us borrow your pets, your home and your town.
The Greek pet gang had a very especial impact in our trip! We are going to miss them for a long time! Hendrix and Cosette are very fun dogs! Excellent company and really loving! Nietzsche and Domino are also good companies, easygoing and loving. Although it is a big family they were very easy and fun to take care of. Betina’s apartment is very spacious and comfortable, close to the sea and other interesting places. Thessaloniki is a live city, full of nice cafes and bars, people enjoying the public places and lot of history! We would definitely sit for them again and we recommend this sit to anyone!
