Roxy is a really lovely and affectionate dog who was great with my 7 year old and Perranporth has a beautiful beach. There are also lots of other amazing beaches nearby to explore. Jane made us feel very welcome and at home and it was great to meet her. Jane said Roxy was OK to be left for 2 or 3 hours at home so we were able to go to Newquay Aquarium too. The only thing I would say for next time is more info please. For example, at the end of our stay I was hunting for the hoover and couldn't find it! Thanks for a lovely stay Jane, we'd love to do another.
Denise has a cute duplex in a convenient location near downtown Austin with plenty of space to park your car off-street. The 2 cats are very easy to care for - we really enjoyed our time with them. Queso hangs out and seeks petting while Momo takes a couple of days to get comfortable. The bed is really comfortable - we enjoyed sleeping in late. I gave 4 stars only because the house was not totally prepared for sitters, but this was a last minute sit for Denise who didn’t have a lot of time to prepare. We talked about it and the expectations that future sitters will have. Overall, it was a pleasant experience staying with Queso and Momo and Denise was friendly, easy going and responsive to any questions.
Nigel and Kate were very friendly, generous, communicative and amazing hosts. I so enjoyed meeting and caring for Snowy and Hugo, their dogs. Their home is lovely, quaint, and tucked away in an idyllic village called Beaumont-du-Perigord with inspiring views of the countryside. Here, you will find one of the best boulangeries anywhere, a nice old square, bars and interesting shops. Enjoying the company of Snowy and Hugo, you'll discover the sweetest free-spirited furry friends you'll ever meet. Not to mention the proximity of vineyards, orchards, forests and fields through which we wandered happily. I would highly recommend Nigel and Kate's home to any sitters looking for a slow-paced stay, with lovely pets and easy access by car to the wine growing region and beautiful villages of Dordogne.
I had such a nice time looking after Rumi and Kian. Kritika’s home was beautiful, clean and comfortable - I could easily have stayed forever!! Kritika and her partner were very responsive and helpful and Rumi and Kian were so sweet, curious and easy to take care of. I would be back in a heartbeat!
I had such a great time looking after Ali and Sam, both beautiful and full of entertainment. They were no hassle at all, loved some pats, naps and playtime and would let you know if they wanted something. We had many laughs and I thoroughly enjoyed looking after them. Sam is a bit of a character and blends in the with the carpets, so I was going upstairs one day with Sam habing a nap halfway up, me not paying attention resulted in a scare and nearly falling up the stairs, lucky I was going up the stairs and not down 🤣 Both would curl up and supervise me doing work on the laptop on the couch. The house is incredible, so comfortable, clean and has everything you could need. Really safe and lovely area to go for a walk along the paths nearby and good public transport links. Had great communication with Dena and Nick. Keeping them up to date with the stories of the cats each day and theyd also check in to see if I was all good too which made my stay very welcoming. It was so nice to meet them on my last day of the sit and going out for breakfast together by the river was very special 🥰 This has been a great experience and i recommend this sit to anyone. Would love to come back mysel 🙂
Katie and her family were wonderful and Anna could not have been sweeter and easier to look after! The house was also great with a beautiful garden to enjoy in the back!

Meow Care is just fabulous! From the first point of contact with Alice to the actual minding of my 2 Devon Rex cats they were fantastic. Andrea came every day and knew exactly how to handle our reserved cats…the photos and videos were fantastic and I got to see how my 2 girls went from not wanting to engage on day one to getting better and better with Andrea each day (it didn’t take long, day 2 they were coming up and being more open to knowing her which is a testament to her knowledge of cats and I could tell they missed her when I came home). I couldn’t be happier with the service and with the absolutely fantastic care Meow Care and Andrea gave.
I would like to share the experience that my partner and me had with Maow Care and strongly not recommend using this service if you really want a trustworthy person or service to take care if your cat. We went on vacation and hired the service and got assigned our cat sitter, everything looked normal at the beginning. Right after we landed the plane, we had the first message from our sitter saying that we had an alarm beeping on our house. We were concerned as the sitter told us that we could have neighbors upset by the noise, so we asked her about it and got any response. I am from Spain and my partner parents live on Cork and other trusted contacts we have didn’t have the keys of the apartment. We left emergency contacts for our sitter that she didn’t use, we tried to arrange some or our contacts on the city to check the alarm noise with the cat sitter and she didn’t response as well. We got any notice until next day after more of 24 hours, when she said she was going late to visit our cat, which was after 9PM, which is also a weird time to visit a cat. We tried to call the sitter to have more information about the alarm noise and to try to help her to find the issue and fix it, but she didn’t response the call or gave us any information. As a consequence, we had to book a flight back as we were very worried about our cat and the neighbors. Next day, my partner messaged the sitter to ask her to let the keys on the table because we were comming back at evening. She responded that basically, our cat didn’t look affected by the noise and seemed to be OK. After we came back to our apartment, we found out that was a lie. Our cat vomited and defecated out of her litter, thing that she never has done before, she looked thiner, extremely tired and a bit sick, we assumed it was consequence of the noise. We discovered that the alarm had an issue that was causing a constant high frequency beep every 10 seconds. We had to cancel our holidays, lost a lot of money and on top of that, we were told our cat was Ok when she clearly was not, for a problem that could have been fixed very easily in 10 seconds, the time it took us to de-attach the alarm and move the back switch to “off” I encourage that if other people has had similar problems with Maow Care, please speak out and also give diffusion of our case. We had pictures of conversations and situation when we came back and we’ll study taking more actions as the solution they gave us was, the incredible opportunity the enjoy their “great” services for free, we couldn’t even had our money back from this terrible experience that I wouldn’t recommend to even my worst enemy. #maowcare #cathealth #catsittingservice #catsitter #ireland #dublin
Alice is very knowledgeable and very dedicated to cats. She can also help with any cat behaviour questions. Her cat sitting service in Dublin has been there for a long time and only gets busier.
Highly recommended Maow Care. Alice was so accommodating for us and made everything stress free for us and our cat. So disappointed with this service. Left my pup up there today and the girl actually said to me when I dropped her in 'she's only a pup she looks so nervous' told me it would be 2 and a half hours. 3 and a half hours later I still hadn't heard anything and drove up to find she was just sitting in a cage all day and hadn't been touched because other dogs came in that were more difficult. So I took her home she was stressed and crying the whole way home. A phone call to let me know they were running late if I wanted to collect her and bring her up another day would be fair enough. But instead the poor dog was left in a cage all day stressed out. It would take two minutes to call me and see if I wanted to reschedule. Disgraceful. I would never use this service again. I beleive there are new owners in recent years. And i couldn't recommend their service anymore
Rachel and her husband looked after my Charlie like if he was their own dog. Huge space for him to be comfortable. Came back very happy. Highly recommended but you need to book well in advance.
Really disappointed. I’ve sent my dog here for years and he passed away recently. Brought my 5 month pup over today for the first groom. He went in at 1pm and wasn’t ready for collection until 4pm. When I collected him, first the wrong dog was brought out, then my own puppy. No feedback from groomer whatsoever charged €45 - his ears are still dirty, his nails wasn’t cut and he didn’t get a haircut as he is an English bulldog and does not require one. So I paid €45 for a wash and to keep him there for that length of time. I then got home and received a message saying my dog is ready for collection?? Unfortunately I won’t be returning after all those years!

Loki cannot be happier every time he goes to Mandy! As he’s a corgi, our concern is that he is not with bigger dogs that could step and hurt him! But Mandy is always making sure all dogs are safe at all times… not to mention how much Loki loves Harry and Lauren, Mandy’s kids. He’s always so spoiled there! Wouldn’t trust anyone else!
Oh my god where to start I can’t express how happy and grateful I am to have found Mandy for my 3 fur babies. As you can imagine 3 is a lot to handle and I was finding it so difficult to find anyone who would take on all 3 🙈 But not a bother to Mandy! From the moment I meet Mandy, Lauren and Harry it has been the best experience. Mandy is so accommodating and so good and patient with all of the dogs. It can be nerve recking leaving your babies with someone but I never worry at all when they are with Mandy and I love all the daily update pics of them playing with their pals and the dogo birthday parties are just the sweetest thing 🥰 If you are looking for a daycare for your fur babies Mandy is 100% the best there is!
I have been bringing my dog to Mandy's Fairy Tails for two years now. Mandy is absolutely fantastic and my dog loves it there. When we pull up outside she gets so excited to see Mandy and her doggie pals. Dogs are so well looked after and happy. Mandy, Lauren and Harry love dogs and you can clearly see that. I would highly recommend Mandy's Fairy Tails.
Our rescue Chihuahua Elly loves spending time at Mandy’s. With the attentive care she’s received, Elly has become a confident, friendly well socialised little dog. We got our dog a year and a half ago and were always unsure how to manage her when we were away - leave her with friends and have them put out? Put her in big kennels? That question was answered as soon as we brought her to Mandy's Fairy Tails Doggie Day Care. Fifi loves it here, knows when we are coming and bounds out of the car to go to the front door when we arrive. It's very personal, not too big, all the dogs I have seen here always look happy and Fifi has enjoyed her days and her overnight stays. We can't recommend it highly enough.
Within a few minutes of meeting Mandy with her warm welcome into her home, I knew she was who I wanted to leave Ted with. It’s obvious she treats him like her own, and he’s the happiest ball of energy going into her house every week. He’s walked, fed, socialised with family and dogs and it’s such peace of mind that I know he is so content and safe. Laura.
Mandy is fantastic with our puppy Molly and Molly gets so excited going in to see her friends each day. We didn’t think anyone would take a puppy so young (after all her injections) but it wasn’t a problem for Mandy. I really think it has helped with Molly’s training and she’s a confident little doggie. We love getting the daily updates and I couldn’t recommend Mandy highly enough😁

This facility looks great but they are not taking any new customers, regulars only. They’re advertising a service that basically isn’t available. They didn’t respond to my email enquiry but I see they replied to my review! If they’re not accepting new customers why do reviews matter?

Wonderful pet service, my dog (Elkhound) has stayed on several occasions now and I couldn't be happier with Gem Dogs and Jen! Every time we take the turn down to Jen's, my dog gets so excited in the car, he knows he is in for a great time and this gives me so much reassurance. He doesn't even want to come home when I go to collect him, but when I eventually get him into the car, he sleeps all the way home and though the night. He's a high-energy dog, yet he comes home very well exercised. The house is absolutely beautiful with a lovely pen for the dogs to eat in and have down time and a gorgeous large back garden too for fun and games. My dog absolutely loved Jen and why wouldn't he, she is a total animal lover, so friendly and welcoming. I'm thrilled to have found this place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Will definitely be back again.
