We had an amazing time in Ulm. We had the pleasure of spending time with Sharon and Wolfram prior to the sit and were warmly welcomed in to their home. Their dogs are wonderful!!! We are still reminiscing on our time there and miss the dogs lots. It was a lovely home in a great location in Ulm. We would happily housesit again and thank Sharon and Wolfram for their hospitality!

I had a fantastic experience staying in Sam and Matthew’s lovely home looking after their very loveable dogs, cat and chickens. They are really nice people and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, making me a delicious dinner when I arrived and showing me how to do everything before they headed off on their trip.

Wispa, Teasel and Rowan are the sweetest dogs. Very obedient, fun and affectionate, plus very straight forward to take care of. I really loved spending time with them and getting to know their unique personalities. Mimi the cat is also very sweet natured, she is older and a cat so mostly sleeps, but likes a pat and to sit on your lap in the evenings.

Sam kept in regular communication throughout my stay and made sure myself and the animals had everything we needed. Sam also left me lots of really useful information about local walks and things to do in the area.

There are plenty of walks nearby with lovely views. We also did walks from the house, in the nearby fields so lots of options for exercising the dogs. Peebles is also a lovely little town only 15 minutes away and the surrounding area is really picturesque with lots to do and see.

The house is very comfortable and spacious with everything you could possibly need, in a really stunning rural location. WIFI is also reliable and fast if you’re working remotely.

I would highly recommend this sit to others!

Really enjoyed our stay in Golden (so much so, we extended our trip!).

Rachel and Pe were very welcoming and showed us everything that we needed to know before they left.

Golden is such a beautiful neighbourhood with all the boutique shops and food joints nearby. One of our favorite’s being, the food trucks which are a 10min walk away.

Now as for Dixit, Dixit is the easiest dog we have looked after. He is so chill, so fun, has a huge personality and overall we loved spending the last 4 weeks with him. We will miss him. (and have already gone back to visit!)

Our time in Golden has been amazing, and we look forward to returning someday.

Paula’s home is very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. The cul-de-sac was very quiet and peaceful.

Oscar & Emmy were easy to care for and in the evenings we would enjoy each others company while streaming shows on the living room TV.

I highly recommend this sit!

Lulu was lovely — the flat is gorgeous, and Tony is responsive. However, there are a few tricky things that made this a difficult sit for me — one was that Lulu actually needs someone around pretty much 24/7 or she starts to bark and will continue to bark for hours. This hadn’t been communicated to me, and the police were called by the neighbours when I went out for dinner one night. After that, I realised she couldn’t be left alone at all and was forced to cancel plans i’d made for birthday lunches and a book fair event and stay at home pretty much all weekend. This put me in a difficult position and future sitters should be aware that you really need to be there the whole time, or have Lulu come everywhere with you, except maybe 30 minutes per day to go shopping etc. And know that she will be barking the entire time you’re gone — so make sure windows are shut and that you’re back after 30 minutes. If that sounds doable to you, then you’ll have a lovely time with Lulu — who has a lot of love to give.

What a lovely couple, was made to feel very welcomed. Excellent communication from start to finish of my time with Martin and Marie, Ruby and Max. Time was given to show me around their lovely home & garden. My room was lovely and comfortable. Very near local attractions.
Both Ruby and Max, adorable dogs introduced themselves. Tails hardly stop wagging, they play together wonderfully and are obedient (unless the squirrel is passing by the garden - then selective deafness lol).
Loved the cuddles and playing, happy to return again soon.
