A fantastic pet sitter, highly professional, organised, resourceful and with great initiative. She took care of my two dogs after another pet sitter suddenly decided to leave as she could not cope with my dog whining (my husband had just passed away and I had to travel to scatter his ashes, so there was a difficult time and he picked on that). Samantha very quickly learnt her way around Logan, my dog, and thanks to her he calmed down and stopped whining. I believe she was an outstanding sitter who clearly knew what she was doing and didn't allow the circumstances overwhelm her. I HIGHLY recommend her as a trustworthy sitter with super skills and very caring. A real pet lover!
Darlene is simply a lovely person. She is open, friendly and we felt very comfortable with her straight away, as did the dogs. On our joint dog walk I found Darlene really easy to talk to, someone who could be a friend. From the dogs point of view: Scruffy takes to everyone immediately, whilst Saffy is more reserved and can be shy and scared of new people. However, she very quickly accepted Darlene who has a really lovely manner with dogs and seemed to instinctively know how to treat Saffy. Darlene was very good at communication both before and during the sit. We were clear that we didn’t expect daily messages, we wanted her to relax and enjoy herself. But we still got regular reassuring messages and cute photos and even a video of the dogs getting excited before a walk, Saffy “talking” to Darlene, which was lovely. On our return the house was absolutely spotless, the bedding already washed and on the line, the lawns mowed that morning and flowers on the kitchen table. The dogs were very happy and Scruffy fell for Darlene so much he didn’t want her to leave and got under her car and refused to come out!! Highly recommend Darlene and would welcome her back in a heartbeat.
Sandra is incredible. On all levels, she is the PERFECT sitter to take care of your furry baby and your home. She sent photos to us every day to ensure we could see how happy our little dog was. It made our trip very relaxing and we did not worry about anything. When we got home she even had these beautiful tulips waiting for us. She is the quintessential sitter. We hope she is available for our next trip!
