Great housesit with two very fun and happy dogs. Truffle & Brownie were great to look after and loved their walks as much as snuggling up to you on the sofa. Great location with all facilities close by, very short walk to the tube. So glad we did this sit and hopefully can return and do it all again!

Taking care of Basil was a fantastic experience. He is such a cool cat and since I was traveling alone was a great company. Lucy was very friendly and the house was super beautiful , little far from the center but easy to reach with the tube . I reccomend very much this experience :) thank you very much Lucy 🙏🙏

Maya
Maya is amazing to communicate with and so so kind. Bruce is absolutely amazing! I have truly fallen in love with him. I would say you need some experience with dogs in order to sit for him and need to be strong to walk him, he has a halti but is so excited he does pull. He absolutely loves playing with the ball in the park. He is one of the most amazing dogs I’ve ever met, we had so much fun together. He is very expressive with a great personality. Mayas home is in a great location and I would go back anytime. I’ve got new friends in her and Bruce and I’m overjoyed.

Lucy is just the cutest thing!! She will quickly steal your heart. Overall she's just a really great dog and a great companion. She is so cute and has such a fun and loving personality.

She is pretty laid back, and does a good job of letting you know if she wants something. (She howls in a way like she's talking to you? If that makes sense? It's kind of cute how she does it.) She's great with walks overall, but will pull/bark if she sees a dog bigger than her. I started to just walk in the opposite direction if I saw a bigger dog up ahead to avoid this. One of her favorite activities was simply sunbathing in the backyard.

The house itself looks exactly like the photos, and was a nice place to stay at. The backyard is also a really nice place to spend time. It's an extremely residential area. There isn't much to do in immediate proximity, although there is a grocery store only a 6 minute walk away. The big plus of this is that it felt like an extremely safe area. I always felt comfortable walking Lucy alone even at night because of how safe the area is.

Beth is also great with communication and responding. She left detailed instructions, and if for whatever reason I needed anything, she always responded quickly.

Overall, if you have the chance to stay with Lucy, I'd absolutely recommend it. I know I'd gladly watch her again in the future, and sincerely hope to do so. She's adorable and the type of dog that you'll wish was yours. :)

Claire was extremely friendly, communicative and helpful, and most of all understanding and flexible with a logistical problem we had. Despite the issue on our part, the house sit worked out just great. The apartment was clean, very cosy with excellent light, and in an amazing location just a walk downtown via pike or pine. The bed is extremely comfortable and firm which is always a big bonus for me!

But onto more important things… June is the BEST! He is the fluffiest, cuddliest, friendliest, cutest, easiest…. You name it, it’s June. I was so gutted to have to leave him as I really enjoyed hanging out there with him and taking in his calm demeanour.

I would definitely recommend this sit and I would happily sit here again! Thanks Claire & June! X

This is tough because I’ve never given anyone less than 5 stars before, however this is the first housesit where I felt totally uncomfortable throughout the whole experience.

I’m a full time housesitter, and the bare minimum is that the house is clean, and the instructions are clear.

The kitchen was dirty, with used pots and pans just left for me to deal with, the dishwasher to my horror was full of dishes that had been in there so long they had grown mould. Upon getting into bed I discovered the sheets were visibly dirty and there were “adult things” left in the room, I was horrified. I cleaned one corner of the living room and slept on the couch during my stay.

I wasn’t given clear instructions on how to care for their puppy who has trouble eating, it felt disorganised.

Upon sending photos to customer service I was advised to leave this sit, but I didn’t want to leave the puppy. I informed the owners the house needed to be cleaned and they did organise a cleaner, but not until the day before I left. Really disappointing experience.
