We recommend Adam very highly! He was easy to communicate with and paid close attention to the details of the pet and house care. Our young and very energetic Chesapeake Bay Retriever Hazel took to him right away, and Adam had lots of energy to play with her a lot and get her out on walks. Adam's dog Luna got along well with Hazel and they had fun together too. We felt very comfortable leaving Adam in care of things, and found the house in great shape when we returned.
We had a fantastic time giving love and care to gorgeous Gia! What a cute and loveable dog. Priscilla and Will's house was beautifully clean and well presented, and even had some baby gates, which helped to keep Felix out of the kitchen at times. The house was a short walk from a lovely playing field and playground which we all enjoyed. Additionally, there are also lots of beautiful country walks like Newlands Corner just a short drive away, which is stunning. One of the highlights of our week was the blackberry foraging whilst playing with Gia on our many walks. Thanks again to you both for choosing us to care for your fur babe, we loved our time immensely.
It was an absolute pleasure to house/pet sit for this family. Penny and Ken are very friendly, easy to be around, and interesting to talk to (and Penny's a fantastic cook!). They are also incredible hosts who went out of their way to help us and make our time together and stay a wonderful experience, they even took us out to beautiful Lutry on their return. We really felt they treated us like family and couldn't be more grateful for it. We received clear instructions for looking after their pets and home, and communication was fantastic at all times. Their house is in a great location, beautifully designed and tastefully decorated, the views are amazing, and every room in the house offers great comfort, including the guest bedroom where we stayed. Tiggar's a really independent guy who'll mostly come in for food, and he's always purring and happy. Scapa quickly became one of our favourite dogs ever. They've done a fantastic job training her, she's a loving dog, super respectful, and will make you feel protected. We loved walking her in the forest and had no issues at all with her off lead, we just followed Penny's tips and instructions and had nothing but a wonderful time with her. Also, Scapa will do anything for food, which makes everything so easy! :) Her parents know her really well and will tell you and show you everything you need to know about her. In all, we are happy that we've had the chance to meet Penny, Ken and their pets. We wouldn't hesitate to sit for them again and can confidently recommend them to other sitters.
