This was a comfortable dog and house sit. Their dog, Gracie is affectionate and easy to take care of. Their home is in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to everything you need (by car). They left clear instructions. Unfortunately the pool was not functioning for the time I was there, but when it is it would make it the perfect staycation type of pet and house sit.
Shawnie was so sweet & her energy is great! We communicated throughout my stay and she kept me in the loop of what was going on. Venus and Mars are loving, playful and they warmed up to me really quick. Awesome way to spend my last few weeks in Mexico City.
Berlin was a little shy towards the beginning of the sit but warmed after treats and time with her. The location and space is great and Paolo was extremely responsive throughout the stay. Would strongly recommend the sit with Tigressa (Berlin).
Rachel's sit was great! We loved hanging out with Scout, Nico and Virtue. Scout was such an easy, sweet dog, who just wanted to be whereever we were, or cuddling with Nico. Nico loved to play with her toys and play hard to get...lol. Virtue was a little more shy, but came out for morning pets and love in order to get breakfast! Rachel was super responsive with any questions, and the home very comfortable and near a ton of hiking and walking trails, which we enjoyed! If you want an easy sit with loveable pets, don't pass this one up if you get the chance!
Maybe I caught James at a bad time but this sit was a mixed experience for me The house was impressive, the location (Kinnaird) peaceful and the dogs a joy to be around but sadly the all important communication, hospitality and appreciation were lacking. The dogs - Skye is now 15, nearly blind and deaf and only goes out in the garden. Tilly is 5, loves a good run in the garden and walks nearby. Could have done with guidance on where to walk her locally. Both are on a raw food diet. The house - Despite the sub zero temperature the central heating was switched off so the house was cold apart from the new conservatory which was lovely, bright and warm with underfloor heating. There was a portable oil filled radiator and logs for the fires but very little kindling. I arrived late after a long and difficult drive from Cumbria in the snow and ice. James gave me a 10 minute tour on arrival and left instructions about feeding the dogs but there was no up to date welcome guide. Messaging before and during my stay was hit and miss. Need to know - CCTV - there are (undisclosed) cameras around the property. The Lodge in the courtyard faces the front door and is a holiday cottage. Walks - guidance needed. You can't get out the gate at the bottom of the garden. All the surrounding roads have access only signs for private residences. Dogs' diet - they are on a raw food diet, not kibble as stated. instructions about bins and recycling (inside and out) and ash disposal needed. Heating and hot water instructions needed - controls, timer, override etc. The water in the bathroom didn't get very hot.
This is an amazing house sit! Dutch was the star of the show for me. He's everything you could want in a dog. He's happy going on adventures but equally happy staying home and relaxing. He's well-behaved in public, gets along with everyone, and makes friends everywhere he goes. I loved our mornings at the beach and seeing how happy he was swimming into the water to chase his beloved ball. His sister, Cosmo, is a very sweet and independent cat. She let me know when it was time to brush her and feed her. She was curious about me at first but soon felt comfortable asking for love or coming downstairs to the guest room to see what was happening. Jeri and Joe could not be kinder or more welcoming! I feel like I've made new friends. They are wonderful people. Jeri provided all of the information I needed to enjoy my visit and was available by text when I had questions or just wanted to send pictures of their cute animals. The house is clean and comfortable and has a beautiful ocean view. It's close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and gelato. The wifi is fast enough for video calls if you need to work. And it's in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I could go on and on about this house sit. It's fantastic. I'm hoping our schedules align again in the future so I can return to see Dutch and Cosmo. Highly recommend!

Amazing service and lovely people. My dog is a very nervous dog and barks at its own shadow and other people or dogs. Hannah is a professional and sets very high standards. I am extremely pleased that she decided to set herself up in the village as it has made our regular grooming trips so much easier.

Purrfect Partners have looked after my cats whilst we've been away on many many occasions over the past 18 years. Howard did a great job up until he retired earlier this year and now Kim has seamlessly taken over the business. She took the time to check all the arrangements before we left and sent us the occasional picture whilst we were away, which was a nice reassuring touch. I would definitely recommend them.
We are very happy with the service provided by Howard. Howard came and met us and our cats and went through everything in detail so we felt very confident about entrusting him with their care. Howard came twice a day for the duration of our holiday and he gave us updates (which were very much appreciated) while we were away. I was nervous leaving my two cats but Howard soon put me at ease. He made the time to visit and talk to me about the needs of the cats. He informed me how my cats were on his first visit so I knew they were being looked after. Kim has looked after our cat a couple of times when we've been away and she has made us feel very comfortable leaving him in her care. She feeds him twice a day for us and keeps his litter box clean and also gives him some playtime and cuddles. She paid attention to what his particular routine is and was happy to do little extra bits for him as we would normally do. Her regular updates with photos are lovely and the cat seems quite content when we've returned. We would definitely recommend and will use Kim's help again when needed!
We have just returned from 2 days away visiting family and this has been the first time we have used Kim for her cat sitting services. We have 2 cats and one of them needs his medication twice a day and so we thought we would give Kim a try after finding her details on the internet. She came round a week before to meet us and go through everything and from then we had no doubt that Kim is trustworthy and genuinely loves animals and is not purely in the business for financial gain. Kim took a great care for 10 days about my 2 cats when I was abroad (vistis am and pm). She followed instructions, was kind to my pets, kept my place clean and tidy. She communicated daily, sent pictures. I felt that my cats were safe and cared about. I can strongly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a pet sitter! I highly recommend DogAbility! We have been attending the social walks since February with Adrienne and Jane who are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly trainers. Both Bella (my nervous dog) and I have learnt so much and are feeling more confident each week - I'm so grateful for all the help and advice and it's become a real highlight of our week. Bella has not only made some dog friends on the walks but she is also starting to find unknown dogs less scary which is really life changing for us all! We also had a fantastic 1-1 session with Jane who supported us in introducing Bella to our next door neighbour's puppy which couldn't have gone better as they are now friends - we can enjoy time in our garden now without fence wars! If you are looking for experienced, effective and practical training which is fun and kind to your dog - these are the people!
I cannot recommend dog ability enough! Not only are they highly trained but they are also fantastically friendly people. Our lovely dog is confident and happy. I really enjoy training with dog ability they have been sooo helpful with my bully ! I did the distractions course and it was great always something new to learn everyweek and great trainers i had tasha and i cant recommend her enough. Ive also had some private lessons and Adrienne (owner) has always rang to check in on how they went you can tell she really cares ! And they are alway willing to chat and help if your ever having any problems.
Would highly recommend (and do) to anyone and everyone. We have been going to Adrienne and the team since puppy classes and and my dog is now 2 and I still go when needed. We recently did a one on one session with Tash and it was fantastic, she was brilliant with understanding what we were struggling with and how to help going forward, since then I have stuck with what I learnt with Tash and have had a very well behaved dog out on walks! A brilliant time had with fun and fantastic puppy training .My little puppy Paisley could of almost made Crufts agility. Kelly and Steph were brilliant I was really uneasy about leaving my furry baby but he was in great hands. They treated him as if he were one of their own and when he was a little off colour they even made him some scrambled egg. Friendly reliable and animal crazy .
